Hair: Dirty blonde. Streaked usually by the sun since he works out there so much.

Parents: William B Shepler and Alenka Budny. Father from Thomaston (purebred!) and mother was a Polish beauty that snuck in from out of town and never left. (it's where the Polish middle name is from, tribute to his mother's side.)

They are currently deceased due to a car wreck (which is another reason Seth never drives above two miles over the speed limit.) Mother was dead on the scene, father passed away two days later, everyone swears of a broken heart because his injuries weren't life threatening. (occured about two years after Austin first left)

Siblings: Jennifer Rokita Shepler, 7 years younger. (also passed away in the wreck.)

Relationship: Just upended Thomaston breaking up with Jenny.

Occupation: Jack of all trades. Was making money working construction, extra jobs when the carnival would come into town, occassional bouncer gigs and karaoke circuit.

Personality: Honest, hard working, gives his word and keeps it. Friendly but quiet for the most part now a days keeping to himself. Trust worthy, can keep a secret. Very loving too, hence why he never made it in the world of one night stands, everything was too personal for him.

Talents & Abilities He is a fast learner, can pick most anything up. Has helped some of the Daniel's out in the past tending for them or being a waiter when needed. Was a quarterback at Thomaston High.

Brief Bio: Grew up entrenched in the Daniel's, mostly Colt, Austin and her family, briefly had a crush on Jackie (before Austin) and got into lots of mischief with them, but never anything that would break actual laws or get him in trouble with the football team.

Quarter back all four years, was really really good but always toned it down because he didn't -want- scholarships or anything that would take him AWAY from Thomaston. Relatively smart, got mostly A's and B's in school, almost flunked Geography though, got a little help there, didn't help that the teacher didn't like him or football either.

Really good at video games too, especially pin ball and Galaga. Console games were a favorite too when he wasn't laden down with work.

Additional Info: Always wore plaid, to the point the school had a petition going around to change the school colors (a joke to tease Seth) to plaid so his letterman's jacket would be plaid.

Also, he looks a lot different now than he did back then. Always meticulously short hair is now down to his chin and wild. :)

**edited to add** Seth protected his friends against bullying, it was cheating though, he wasn't really violent, just stood between any Daniels girl (or friend) and the bully.. He always kinda thought he was just really good at intimiidating and sometimes he was, but mostly it was because no one dared hit the Golden Arm and risk the school losing at football because they took out the quarterback.

Occupation: Owner and operator of North Private Investigation Agency

Personality: He's a mishmash of both parents, leaving neither happy with the outcome. He has his free-spirited mother's stubborn independence and open mind but his father's desire to succeed in the business world and athletic ability.

Talents & Abilities: His empathic ability is another gift from his mother that she continuously encourages him to expand. He played basketball in college even though his father would preferred he'd rowed crew and is still a decent athlete all these years later.

Brief Bio: Slate is a product of RhyDin -- born and raised. The hodgepodge of cultures and races gives the city such character that he's never found its match. As the son of one of RhyDin's premier patronesses of the arts, he's not without culture and only rolls his eyes when accompanying her to gallery openings, ballets, and operas for appearances, not because he minds attending.

He spent some time in law school but found he could not follow in his father and older sister's footsteps into what now was North & North LLP. Instead, Slate tried his hand in the private investigation world. Unfortunately, the competition was fierce for business. Slate found himself specializing in the world of cheating spouses (where his empathic advantage of knowing when someone was lying came in handy). It was by no means what he had hoped for when he opened his business but it was a lucrative market and his business remains steady.

Slate met Colt playing pick-up basketball in the park on weekends. Despite having very different personalities, the two bonded over a shared love of pretty much any sport under the sun. With Slate's big city vibe and hometown credentials, it was Slate that Colt tapped to take Austin out on a date or two to help get her out of her rut. What Colt wasn't expecting was for Slate to fall for his cousin...

Personality: Sarah Beth is an honestly sweet, sincere person. She likes to help people and worries when people are upset. She's a bit on the quiet side and can be a little shy, although at work she's quite talkative. Interested in meeting new people and going new places.

Talents & Abilities: Growing and cultivating things. Going slow and being unhurried. Good at listening and offering emotional support. Protective of those she loves.

Brief Bio: Sarah Beth has known Cheyenne (her best friend) since first grade and thusly has been a pretty permanent staple. Their parents ended up becoming good friends as well. She's always helped out with the family business, acres and acres of orchards (lots of things, but a large amount of it is devoted to apples). She lives in a large farmhouse on the orchards with her parents and two younger siblings. Her older sister is married and lives in another house near them. There is nothing particularly outstanding about Sarah Beth, and she's ok with it.

Additional Info:

- likes giving cards or little presents for almost ANY holiday/occasion. Halloween, Easter, Talk Like A Pirate Day... you get the idea
- will talk your ear off about planting, fruit, pretty much anything to do with it. Which she then realizes is probably about as interesting as watching paint dry
- wears glasses at night (particularly when she has to drive in the dark) but usually wears contacts. Would rather people not know she wears them
