Transcription of the 911 call placed on November 02, 2015

Ringing. ?Hello, Rhydin 911 ? what?s your emergency?? ?Hello!? Crackle; static. ??. Help?? The garble of words incoherent. ?Hello? I can?t hear you. What?s the nature of your emergency?? More static, then garble again. Movement of the person holding the phone can be heard. ?send more.. whatever you send.. we need more..? The background noise was running, guns firing, a beep and a muffled voice of a man. ?Leave her.? A sickening thud of a head meeting concrete was heard.

This was the first and last time many have ever heard of the Fallholt compound. Most didn?t even see the broad or the care when the compound collapsed. There were a few of them scattered about the whole of Rhydin some endorsed by companies that kept people there under the near slave working conditions that came with the perk of free room and board.

But this compound wasn?t one of those. It was the opposing of the slave factories. Instead, the members who lived there were all highly intelligent members who taught across many realms including Rhydin. They all came there for a reason and it was to better humanity. Little did they know just how far their research would stray from this.

And it was all thanks to him.

Additional information and previous play on this story can be found in part one of the Titan Gene which is found here: http://rdi.dragonsmark.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t= 30072. There you find the logs of events mentioned below that affected the current timeline. These happened between the time period of January until the current date (February 29th, 2016 Leapday).

Creatures were discovered along the Rhydin Cemetery with abilities that were not common and seemed unnatural to their conditions. Studying and tracking of them provided evidence they were created inside of a lavatory was grown. There was no way of telling who or what had done it. The only thing they could do was contain the animals and hope they wouldn?t wipe out the native fauna of the area.

The invading species were sent to a rigorous test by a self-proclaimed mad scientist known as Godfry Ravennemesis. With his help weaknesses and a way to capture the creatures, were obtained. The adventure company known as ?Smash and Grab? was sent to dispose of the creatures using knowledge and brute force. Only mild casualties occurred along the way.

The bodies were taken back to the lavatory where they were put under rigorous testing by Godfry. The story of the creatures origins seemed to go silent as the days drug on but finally something, something so small they overlooked it, was figured out by an intern of the great doctor.

?Commander Godfry?? The woman?s smooth voice was the reason he hired her. Godfry looked up from his work one of the many constructs that he toyed with. ?What is it?? He demanded. There was no kindness in his voice but no matter what the outcome was none could deny the fact the man was one of the great leaders of the Kingdom. It was the only reason most of them were alive.

?Did you ever go to that warehouse that Alpire corporation was at?? Godfry gave the woman a curious look. ?Yes it leads nowhere. They had no used the building in some time for records. It was some naturalist company.? The inturned looked quiet confused at the man a moment. ?Oh. Because, when I went there.. the man who buzzed me in said it was sublet. ? Godfry?s attention now came to the girl turning to her. ?? Sublette? Did you get a name for the company they sublet to?? The girl nodded and gave the card.

Godfry?s investigation became hot again. Leading him down yet another rabbit hole of leads. Some panned out to other companies and others dead ended again. It was clear someone set it up this way intentionally but the real reason was why? What were they hiding? What was their goal? And more so what did it have to do with the Fallholt compound and the tragedy that happened there.

With a few phone calls, Godfry set up for the upcoming investigation to find kids, to find the crafter of those creatures, and to find out what happened to the missing people of Fallholt to put their family at rest.

?Aye, Oi'm 'eadin'. oi'm jist cleanin' up sum lose ends.? Soothing contralto vocals seemed all to innocent for the man. Normally they held a power that commanded attention but now they seemed to persuade the others to do the opposing. The phone was pressed into his chin and shoulder to hold it injunction as he spoke. The last words spoke his commander in chief to hang up but the junction of his head was kept as his hands were busy. closing the flip phone along his frame. His goodbyes were already said to his family and the bits of friends who weren?t family by blood. Bear sized hands were brought in front of his eyes the lid of this gas can remove and tossed onto the ground as with the other.

With a hand free, he took the phone to shove into a pocket of those dirty blue jeans. The pungent stench of that fluid already seeped into the house but the more he could get onto it the better the flame and the higher success of his pyromaniac attack. The last of it was dumped onto the couch. He hated the couch it was uncomfortable as hell but it was there when the two of them moved into the property so they kept it. The door was left open as he exited the building leaving as much of a draft into it as he possibly could.

Beer bottles, empties, were dragged from the back of his truck. The particle drank liquid was gathered from the trash at his pack?s land but it was left behind by his command. No questions were asked it was packed policy to never question the ones in charge and god knows he didn?t want them to know. Instead, he shoved bits of a tattered shirt into the first bottle letting it soak in the liquid before squirreling it out some. He made sure it was nice and soaked before letting it lay limped out of the neck.

Zippo was brought to the edge of the cloth to catch it on fire. It burned slowly due to the fabric but he knew it would be steady enough to get his wish. He held it for a second to where it touched the neck then charged a hand back tossing it into the front door first. It slammed to the ground the glass shattering hard giving an echo to the too silent house. The liquid, which caught fire as the rag spread along the ground, went up in flames with a ?woshk?. It met the other accelerant and started the fire.

It by no means meant he was done. Instead, he started to repeat the process along the house. Several windows were broken in as he did it. He knew it would help make the fire grow and spread if they were closer to the air source. In honor of Johnny, he took a bottle of whiskey taking a few chugs from it as he watched the flames grow. As he went down, down, down, the flames went higher. It burns, burns, burns, in a ring of fire.

He watched it grow keeping control of the mess. The heat from it cause a rise of smog to mix with the ash that stained the ground the house. The scent of it burning kept to the air and kept inside of that forest as it smoldered out. There was no house left for him to go home to here there was only the end of a once heart filled story.

A metal box was pulled from the back of his cab. He tossed it by where the doorway once was letting it rest on the junction between dirt and ash. Inside was several items, a bracelet, a ring, several ID cards, and a credit card. All left behind.

Radio was turned up, the song in his mind pulsing through the bass speakers as he set forth. A screach of tires, a few words spoken, and soon the man took off for downtown to start the investigation of the Alpire Corpiration.

Love is a burnin' thing
And it makes a fiery ring
Bound by wild desire
I fell into a ring of fire

I fell into a burnin' ring of fire
I went down, down, down
And the flames went higher
And it burns, burns, burns
The ring of fire, the ring of fire

I fell into a burnin' ring of fire
I went down, down, down
And the flames went higher
And it burns, burns, burns
The ring of fire, the ring of fire

The taste of love is sweet
When hearts like ours meet
I fell for you like a child
Oh, but the fire went wild

I fell into a burnin' ring of fire
I went down, down, down
And the flames went higher
And it burns, burns, burns
The ring of fire, the ring of fire

I fell into a burnin' ring of fire
I went down, down, down
And the flames went higher
And it burns, burns, burns
The ring of fire, the ring of fire
And it burns, burns, burns
The ring of fire, the ring of fire
The ring of fire, the ring of fire
The ring of fire.

The obnoxious sound of the buzzer rang inside of his ears. He had rung the first floor, which was listed as Alpire Corporation, but no one had answered. Finger mashed along the button to reset it and he tried one of the others hoping someone would buzz him it. To his luck he heard the crackle of the speakers.

?I?ll be right down, the mic doesn?t work.? A man answered a little too cheerful for the sorrow that was seeded inside himself. The man looked around his thirties, a straight and narrow haircut, jeans, and a t-shirt with a graphic logo of a local company he heard about before. Seeing Coilin the man seemed a bit taken back.

?So you?re not the delivery guy?? His steps slowed down that smile faded.

?Naw. sorry ter gunk yer. oi'm tryin' ter git a 'owl av alpire corpirashun.? Coilin felt a bit bad since it seemed the man was expecting dinner.

?Alpire?? The nicely dressed man rubbed his tongue along his cheek. ?There?s no one here by that name.?

His eyes narrowed a moment taking in the information. Godfry had told them the company had been submitted but he wasn?t sure if it was a fact or not. ?Re?lay? Cause oi wus towl they owned de first floor.? The information was withheld that he already knew this fact and was just probing him for a confirmation.

?First floor? No. The only one whose been there since we moved in is Prophecycurity.? The man?s hand went to the back of his head. ?We?ve been here six years.?

So it was true. Alpire was a company that wasn?t a real company. ?Ahh. is anyone dare? oi wus tryin' ter git a 'owl av dem aboyt a bill..?

The man shook his head. ?Not that I?ve seen. They went on holiday break or something and never came back. Last time I saw someone was around Thanksgiving. You know? I bet the super might have their contact information. Want to come up and I?ll get you his card??
?Dat sounds deadly. t'anks.? Coilin stepped through the door looking around. The carpets were a bit worse for wear but it didn?t look all that bad. He put on a smile and went with the man. ?Oi'm coilin waaat ye say you're name wus??

?Sorry I didn?t. I?m Ron. I?m with Tigress Systems. We?re up on the top floor.? The man looked behind him for his food but not seeing a delivery truck he closed the door causing it to lock. The two of them went upstairs to his office. Through some painstakingly small talk Coilin found out the, it had been around the same time as the 911 call that the company went on ?Holiday?. That was suspicious enough for anyone's standards. It took a bit of time but the card was found and given to Coilin.

?T'anks again man i'll sea meself oyt.? Which he did and even out of the building in search of an access panel or something like it that would allow him into the offices on the first floor. After some time, the man gave up and just smashed the hell out of a window he thought was big enough to let himself through. With a few grunts and abrasions to the man?s hands and torso, he broke into the building.

Disarray. The entire floor was in disarray. Pieces of the ceiling were ripped down exposing the pipes and duct work above them. Some of the ducts knocked about where someone had searched. Drawers were open and dumped, files are strewn about the ground, computers were broken around them and seemed charred on the hardware, drywall pulled from walls, and the whole place was in a chaotic mess.

Trying to leave as little evidence of him being there as possible he tried to avoid the piles of paper and scattered other bits around. Every inch of the office seemed to be in chaos. From the front rooms to the back nothing seemed salvageable. It was in the shuffle of the trash around that his foot hit a coke can sending it into the rest of that bang. The clatter of can on can echoed the office causing alarm to himself. The noise didn?t seem to only spook him as there came another.

A slow scratch and moan came from behind the bathroom door.

A splatter of blood escaped his mouth as the creature brought a meaty hook along his jaw line. Mercury red toned stained the off-white speckles of drywall. Coilin?s head snapped to the side a jolt of pain waving through along the neck and shoulder. In a slight daze, it gave that creature time to barrel forward snagging him along the stomach and into the wall. His shoulders and back took the brunt of the force bruising nearly instantly along the tender flesh.

Quickly he recovered his own clawed hand coming down grasping the creature by the arm. He pulled extending the joint causing the thing to drop him. The creature tugged from his grasp it?s black frame finding the darkness of that too dark office. It moved into the shadows seeming to become part of it living amongst the corbie darkness of the destroyed workspace. Darkness grew around him surrounding him and stretching along the walls. The creation seemed to turn into a pool of ink that clung to the fabric of the very building itself.

Kicking the door of that bathroom he rushed from inside of it. He stirred up mold and dirt from the fallen patches of building material. Stygian-black streams and syrup slowly crawled along the flesh of his ankle wrapping to the booth and pulling him back into the murky thickness of that bathroom. The air was knocked out of him as he hit the ground the foot kicking up trying to release it?s grasp it had on him. It pulled him in like a flopping fish along the water reeling him in towards it.

Piercing the darkness was something he only could imagine as teeth and eyes. Red iris lashed out from the angelic white of the eyes. Long, slightly yellow and red, teeth came to view next welcoming into the pit of that room and seemingly to swallow him up as he entered the room. The cold tiles met him his brain trying to stitch together it. That was when the words fought to escape his mouth spewing forward with a breath of brimstone red spit from his split lips.

?Is e mo ainm Coilin Malachi M'Govern agus I AM dul chun tus do asal .? ( My name is Coilin Malachi M'Govern and I AM going to kick your ass.? ) The phrase was used to center him knowing that the creature was playing tricks with his mind. Not only was it to center him but it was a declaration. He was going to kill the son of a bitch who was trying to beat him up.

Summoning the wolf half of him his body seemed to grow on sight. Muscles bulged, skin adjusted, fur grew giving the man?s appearance of his true nature. Windows shook as Coilin called out to the mother of moons, growling to her to summon the strength and her blessings. He reached into the darkness to grasp along its body pulling along the thick inky until he found something solid. Antimagic; even with creatures like this; had an effect that allowed them to slow and not use their abilities on him. The course of it? None of it could use to heal the man. He was going to feel this fight the next few days.

A blob of ink spilled from the grasp of his fingers oozing between each one. Pulling the figure did seem to effect it the room?s natural lighting spilling from that darkness the creature had enhanced it in. The creature lashed forward, this time, sending a whip of a limb along the light fixture causing it to jolt apart and break. Shards of glass fell from above sparks of electrical wiring as well the mercury exposure sickly scent of the now gas intoxicating his lungs.

Pain filled him as the virulent poison filled his lungs. His own vision faulted as the exposure but he wouldn?t let it win. Tooth and claws they battled on. Walls falling, chairs being overturned, until finally the war ended and only one of them was left standing and the other a memory and bloody mess.
