Brian started the morning early and decided he wanted some time to just reflect.. A great deal had happened in twenty four hours, and he just needed to sit back and divy it all up, and have a look see.. He left the Sanctuary early and made for the market place and quickly approached the grand fountain and sat himself on a wrought iron bench, as he watched the grand fountain in the centre of the Market Place.

His eyes panned the area, as he watches children run, and play, vendors and customers alike within the buzz that is called commerce. A warm smile, as his hand lifted and adjusted his spectacles a moment, as he enjoyed the cool weather and clear skies all around. And this now brings us to.....

Jenai, as she goes tearing down one of the streets earning a few dirty looks from some of the shop keeps that had to dodge JenJen the Terrible. She had a mission, she would say sorry later.... and there it was. She slid to a hault, barefeet and cobblestone suck! She ducked behind 'Madam Knowitall Cause I'm rich and her silly little dog'. Ha, she finally saw him with glasses on. The living wall stuck her nose up in the air as Jen giggled. She needed new cover fast.

Brian was simply lost to the world, as our boy relaxed a bit more, and leaned back into the bench. A quick munching of a piece of toast, as he nodded to some children pass and tossed a crown their way, he laughed a bit as they ran towards a candy vendor, in a hurry.

Since half of the population had red hair, she didn't think she had top hide it... but she tried to brush it in shape with her fingers. Time was almost right as she snuck behind a fruit cart ignoring the barker.

Suddenly it got quiet.. John Woo quiet.. Birds took to the air,and flew overheard.. This caused a pause in said toast munching, and once more he turned and let his eyes wander a bit.. He felt like he was being watched, but could not put a bead on it.. A shrug once more as he relaxed yet again.

Aaaaaaaaand with full wiggle she bolted out and gave a leap that should have required a spring board. Red hair waving a flag of Victory behind her as she Pounced right on Brian's back, becoming instant travel gear curling her arms and legs around him.

"REWR Baby!"

"The change of air pressure gave it away, his hand on pure instinct went for a sword that wasn't there.. A breeze blew through and he detected pineapple and knew he was a dead man for the third time in a month, he grinned a bit but still was hardly ready as he was soundly pounced-ed-ed-and-ed.

"Ack! Jen! Babes!?"

A loud laughter erupted, as he smiled, grinned and all that good stuff all and once. Only she could make a stalking and pouncing that much fun, and he loved every moment of it.

"Hi! Whatcha Lookin for?" she climbed up a little to plant a kiss on his cheek and look over his shoulder, didn't even breath heavy, but giggling.

Brian chuckled and leaned into the kiss, his hand taking hers and kissing it as well: "I used to come out here, a lot and just watch everything. It's a place where i feel small, and just normal. No drama y'know. I didn't wanna wake you early, so I came out for a bit."

JenJen the Terrible slid softly from his back , giving him a smile and put her head on his shoulder. "Thanks and yeah, I know what you mean." she looked around a second then back to him. "You had more drama?"


Brian planted a sweet kiss to her head, as he smiled and breathed in her wonderful scent. He was so wrapped in her, he forgot he was wearing his specs. That aside, he nodded a moment and kissed her head a bit. "Just a teesny bit, and I handled it well. Someone was just looking for a reason, I wouldn't give her one.. I did tell her about the loss of Lucy's boyfriend.. I guess I still can't that boy outta my head. Or rather what happened."

"Death is one thing, but for the young.. Well, I just don't like it. Not like that."

She was mindful of those glasses as she purred to his kisses and ran her fingers along behind his ear. "I am sorry that it's causing you pain. death. And maybe that would have been the one for Lucy. Give it time love, even you have right to grieve."

"That's what makes me feel bad.. I hardly knew the boy, so why the hell should I be sad?"

"Because you have a heart. and Lucy is in there. her pain is easily your pain."

"That's the third person I had to witness die this year alone, and 4th I'll have to see in the graveyard.. I just wish people would just.. You are right, her pain is mine. Thank you, love. So much."

Okay Issy and the Sisters did more than once..

"I asked her just to see if The others were feeding me bs."

"Maybe they are just concerned.. I know I gave many cause to be, and I am sorry for that. I am sure they mean well to whatever means.." a reassuring caress to her cheek, as he nodded in understanding. "I am sure that was going to come up, and they mean well in that regards as well. So you went outside the sisters? That's understandable."

A warm smile offered as found himself much more calmer than he first believed, his eyes settled on her and assured her quietly, there was nothing to be ashamed of, and he was in fact there regardless of what came head long at either of them. She in turn, felt some of the red slip away and continued.

"Well, while they are my family, sometimes the only ones you can go to are on the outside.. and, well, I couldn't ask you."

That scene played over in her mind, it was one hell of a show.

"No I guess you couldn't ask me, but truth be told if you had.. Well I would want you to wait until you decided what you wanted to do, I won't lie.. That's a large step, love.. And one not to be taken lightly, and I respect any decision you make in regards to it. I am here for you, that is something that hadn't come to my mind."

He too recalled Kerri's comment about Jen, and himself and Edea's and so forth, it was a heated contest of motherly and jealous wills, and then some. Still they meant well, even if it sounded like a full scale siege.
Jenai spoke once more, her voice soft.

"I feel bad sometimes." she looked at a broken bit of cobble stone and kicked it away. "I know you will , and I like that, but ... I don't know it's hard to explain."

"Love, you don't need to feel bad for anything. Please remember that, not a thing. And I am sure it is hard to explain, it seems so much is as of late. But the best we can do is, deal with it bit by bit and take whatever comes."

Brian smiled warmly once more to her. "Together."

Jenai let out a little sigh and then a smile "Okay, together."

Brian nodded in response. "Exactly."

Jenai's voice grew quiet as she spoke once more. "I just feel so bad that as much as I find myself wanting to, you have already gotten used to it, sex. So I feel like I'm teasing, and then I don't wanna stop cause that feels good." a sheepish grin followed. " Maybe some cake would help me get over it?"

Sweetly her head was kissed gently, as he smiled warmly in turn.

"Ya got me there, and i can't blame for you how ya feel, save the feeling bad part.. You needn't feel bad. Not ever, and when you are ready, you are. It's as easy as that.. We have a good deal of time, and I am not going anywhere. Like I said, I am here for you. And some cake would be divine, shall we?"

"Yeah. some cake with you would be heavenly. What do you need to do today?"

She she curled back up to his arm moving towards the shoppe again. Brian leaned to her as they walked arm in arm.
He had that silly smile once more, but he didn't care one bit. He loved to be with her and to watch her, and if he looked silly doing it, oh well.

"I am free all day, so what do you have planned?"

"I have to cut and dry some nip. Though I think the feniles have been outside nibbling on it already. Good thing it's not too strong wet."

"I can't wait.. Oh Jean..."

This caused Brian to laugh as he pondered one hyper Jean-Luc cut loose upon Isuelt's room. Once more his eyes panned the area as they neared 'Youstuba's Sweet Shoppe'.

"We should try it this weekend... Issy will be out for a little... and bam, cat-tastrophy! Ha! I kill me." A most wicked grin took form, as she spoke.

Brian laughed, and wiped am errant tear as he pondered the chaos a 200 plus pound Puss could do to her room once again.

"She will kill us, y'know."

"Yeah I know. But it'll be worth it"

"Hell yes it will, babes."

A series of nods and grins were given by each of the conspirists.

"Speaking of her killing us... do you have everything you need for the ball?she stopped outside the shoppe door and looks up at him. "Or party or what ever."
