The day after the bonfire, they really had secreted themselves away in a tiny one bedroom cabin outside the city, somewhere. A place they had. It's not like they didn't deserve a little break just for them...

The chest that her arm had been draped over, was not there now as the morning sun had gone. But the smell of pancakes and bacon told her he wasn't far.

What time was it anyways? It was well past morning by the light cascading through the vine covered window.' Oh well' she thought as she rolled over and stretched. It had been dawn before they finally fell asleep. It was in that stretch though that a glint of light hit the band on her finger.

It wasn't like they were 'stuck' with each other before. She smiled, something made them inseparable. But it was more than that to her. He'd gotten her back for all the shocks and jumanji she'd delivered, and he'd asked her so openly that it couldn't have been seen as a joke. It was official. They were very much the really family she'd never had growing up.

She heard the soft sounds of dishes being moved about the same time her stomach growled. "How does he always know?"

She reached across bed and grabbed a shirt from his side to pull over her head, slinking out of a tangled bit of sheets. They would enjoy the rest of the day in each other's company to make up for lost time. Well before they would head back into town to get ready to meet friends and family for the Dance anyways.

Maybe, it wouldn't be such a bad thing to feel hope again.
