The appearance of the Elven wind mage would-be an odd sight. But there Shea was walking up towards the compund,the home of Brian and his beloved as well as friends and family and guests. Shea was here on business and it wouldn't be her last stop this day. Green cloaks hood pulled down as she walked toward the doors, she found her way here with hardly an upward glance. Shea wasn't the type to back down from her duty.But which was more important to her saving Rhydin or obeying the worried words of her beloved?:

::Once at the door she lifted her gloved right hand and knocked thrice,the winds about her cold even though the mid-day rays of the sun were warm.She was failing them,all the innocents of Rhydin by just being here. Sadness touched her jade toned hues. Would they all understand? Could she back out of this fight fully? No. She knew she could not, but new arrangements would have to be made, and this is were she would start. Brian Ravenlock had called the meeting, then she would speak to Isulet and the sisters, then fall back behind the battle lines, in to the background, as Victor wished it.::

::Shea smiled softly as the door opened,her smile brignted to Brian:: "Hello Brian... Always a pleasure to see ye as well. I hope I am not interrupting anything... "

:: She note his pause, the look on her face in her jade hues must have been more readable than usual. She crossed with in slowly after Brian had called in to the home to Jenai.::


::She lowered her green hood as she entered and bowed her head in soft silent thanks, as she shifted her gloved hands through those dark locks, jade hues looked around.Progress had been made upon the home.:: "Thank ye," ::Another bow of her head:: "Cake sounds delightful.It seems to go well with everything. "

The little Taru mage was seated on the corner of a far end counter, and was rightly finishing off some cake of his own, which was rather evident by the frosting slapped all over his mouth and cheek, not to mention his hands to boot.

It was rather hard to believe he was a magicked force to be reckoned with, in his current state. He smiled widely and waved to Shea, as he then hopped down to the floor and bowed before her, frosting still abound on his person.

"Greetings, Maiden of the wind. We meet again it seems, please excuse my appearance, as I have fallen victim once again to that mistress of temptation, namely cakes from 'Yotsuba's cake shoppe'."

Jes grinned and padded back a bit, and grabbed a towel, and proceeded to wipe himself clean. A wave to Shea once more, as the Taru was finally cleaned.

"I admit I was a right mess, but at least It was a rather tasty mess."

"Company?! I'm sorry I missed the door" Chimmed Jenai as she swept into the kitchen.

Quils, pens, and pencils.. and was that a crayon? sticking out of a hand spun bun. Actully, it was what was holding it together. It was rare the beastie would have her hair up, but today the light glow of sweat and a smudge of dust on the bridge of her nose said it was for the sake of good old fashioned house work.

"I was finally unpacking a few old boxes in the library. It's amazing what you can find you once forgot you had." She started to happily move to Shea in a hug of greetings and joyful welcomes... then remembered "Eh I'm a mess and prolly not the freshest, But you," she softened her tone to true admoration, "you look wonderful."

Did she smell cake?

Brian quickly set on a fresh pot of herbal tea, and coffee as well. The later of course was for his beloved in case she felt the need.. In moderation of course.

Jes dashed away towards the sink and began to wash his face off as Brian procured yet another cake, and luckily this one had not fallen victim to the wiles of one particularly Taru that was cleaning his messy self at that very moment.

It was a simple yellow cake with a sweet vanilla cream frosting, that was dashed with a bit of cinnamon. Strawberry halves decorated the top of the cake, as well. Simple indeed, yet just as delicious as any five star cake one would find in the finest of bakeries. All that aside, Brian set the cake out and then set about gathering plates, and utensils for them all, as he smiled to Shea and asked.

"So what do we owe this pleasure to, dear friend?"

Brian listened to Shea, as he carefully cut slices for each of them. A plate of cakey goodness was set before Shea, as Bruan then served Jenai next, and even left a small piece for Jeskola, whi mind you should not have gotten any, due to his earlier assault on two previous cakes, but Brian knew that Taru's stomachs were literally like bottemless pits, or Renna's penchant for raising hell, both of which were fairly limitless.

So he smiled, as he nodded to Shea and then raised a brow a bit, as she looked rather concerned. He wondered what would concern her so, as everything with the WestEnd seemed to have been going smoothly, save for the total lack of closing the gap on the original goal or goals. Still they were kicking ass and taking names, and business was indeed good. Then he heard it..

"But I am with child.. "

The clatter of the knife Brian had in hand could be heard, as it slipped from his grasp, to the floor. Blue eyes blinked a few times, as he looked between Shea and Jenai one, and then again. He did it a few more times, and simply chuckled with a truly warm smile for their dear friend.

"Shea my dear.. That is outstanding news! Ha! Congratulations!"

Brian grinned, and walked to Shea, and simply embraced her lightly in a warm hug for their friend. He released her, and moved back to his Jenai, and slid an arm around her in turn and looked back to Shea.

"Shea that is no problem by any means, and we can relate far more than you would know. We are expecting as well."
