Ciri Sol'daar: -Ciri had left the the house at the den, much earlier in the day leaving Yaj sleeping, she had taken a bottle of water and her longsword, which were both hooked on her belt, she wears a white tunic and brown cloth pants, most of the day was spent in the glen searching and walking looking for places she just might happen on to Yaj's brother, she hadn't had any luck so she ventured onto the island-
Aribius Nylta'al: Aribius had been standing on the island, wearing that hand-crafted armor he had made so long ago with his own paws. He wasn't doing much but staring at the water. Even though he had been here for some time as it is, the fac that the scenery was different still had interested him especially after spending centuries in a place that was rotting away.
Ciri Sol'daar: -she stepped down the stairs from the portal, taking a moment to look up at the ever twilight sky, she had been on the island only once before, grey-white paws moved her down to the sand, silvery-grey wolf patterned fur blowing in the soft breeze she pushed a few strands of hair out of her grey-ringed lavender eyes and started along the beach-
Aribius Nylta'al: As he stood there he sensed two others. One unfamiliar, the other he hasn't personally felt in ages. He grinned to himself some wondering how long it would be before Ciri would be out to find him unless she was out on a daily stroll, which he wouldn't mind giving her a surprise.
Ciri Sol'daar: -she could feel the powers from the arena near the portal, but as she wondered away from them she could feel a tingle down the back of her neck, fur wanted to stand on end, she felt something a power she hadn't felt since she was a child, that was oh so long ago...she forced herself to calmly move on down the sands..her mind flickering back to images of the past-
Aribius Nylta'al: Though another thought came to mind to Aribius. A little smile formed and sat down on the sand slowly and thought deeply to himself and then picked out another soul to bring to life. Perhaps something he could let roam around soon to be a little spy for him. He moved a paw to the side and energies whirled around his paw and moved to the sand and started to swirl above the sand, an image of an egg starting to be made. It appeared to be like a white egg, though maybe a bit large. Several inches tall at least. Once done he picked the egg up in his paw and looked at it closely, turning it and seeing if he made the egg correctly.
Aiden'wynth: -the egg was perfect, not a crack in it, but once the magic formed it the white shell became harder, something of beauty, black in color with red swirls and drifts around it, it was warm to the touch-
Ciri Sol'daar: -as she walked she stopped feeling magic being used down the beach, it had his signature in its feel and its aura, she only knew that because it felt much like his brother, she now knew where Aribius was and she started that way-
Aribius Nylta'al: He grinned at the egg and continued to hold it in his paw and gently rubbed a finger over it. "Time for you to see a new world and to see secrets of this world for me I do not know yet." he spoke to the egg in a soft tone and grinned wickedly.
Ciri Sol'daar: -Ciri spotted Aribius on the beach ahead of her, he was sitting on the sand, something was in his paws, she swallowed softly and thought of Yaj, she had questions and wanted answers from this older sibling, she calmed herself and moved forward-
Aribius Nylta'al: A flick of his ear towards footsteps and he looked over and saw Ciri there walking towards him. He lowered the egg and set it on the ground on the sand beside himself. The glowing green irises of his eyes stared at Ciri as she moved closer. "Well, if it isn't the beautiful and ever forgiving esper that has a heart of gold." he called out to her grinning widely.
Ciri Sol'daar: -she watched him and came to stand yards away from him on the sand- "Hello Aribius...it has been much time hasn't it?"
Aribius Nylta'al: "I am surprised you even remember my name. How do you like my armor?" he said grinning more, though wickedly. "I made it myself so long ago."
Ciri Sol'daar: -she looked at his armor and frowned a little, but then looking at him, she knew he had been vile, so long ago- "it fits you well..." -she commented as she glanced at the egg on the sand-
Aribius Nylta'al: "Thank you. Where might be your armor? I am sure with all the darkness around here it wouldn't seem so wise for a girl like you to be running around in clothes like that." he chuckled softly but then the smile faded and he just looked at her. "Why are you here?"
Ciri Sol'daar: -lavender eyes looked back up at him- "...i have found you so that i may ask...questions" -she paused and watched him-
Aribius Nylta'al: He looked back out at the water hearing that response. "To be honest, that is the first time anyone has ever told me that response. Most people come to find me to kill me." He motioned a paw to the sand for her to join him. "Come, relax. Ask whatever you want."
Ciri Sol'daar: "and as for my armor...would you have me change into it?" -she heard his invite and overlooked her question, she moved closer but still left a gap of space between them, she sat down on the sand- "..you know that your brother is living here in these lands correct?"
Aribius Nylta'al: "Oh, no, Ciri. You look dashing and hot in plain peasant clothes." he snickered. But once she mentioned his brother his head turned to look at her again and was quiet for a moment before responding. "I can tell where that jackass is universes away. It's bad when you hate someone so much you can tell where they are. Don't even have to see them and they still have that jackass energy vibe coming off of them."
Ciri Sol'daar: -she frowns a bit at him, then even more as she heard him call Yajis a jackass- "..he hes really not...Aribius...he is plagued by a problem....if you can sense him....you should know" -the grey ring around the lavender in her eyes started to glow softly as she was very uneasy-
Aribius Nylta'al: He put his paws together and leaned over in Ciri's direction and tilted his head slightly and looked deep into her eyes. "And I do know. He is the cause of his own problems, Ciri. You know what he did all those years ago. Karma's a #$%^&* isn't it? Why does he matter to you and why should I not call him a jackass? He's a lying, deceitful little rat."
Ciri Sol'daar: -she watched him, he was eerie but she kept the calm face on, she was a warrior, an esper after all.- "Karma...can be....the gods know...he has done many things that..well i have forgiven him...i love him still today as i did back then....i worry about him and know...something plagues him.."
Aribius Nylta'al: "He sold his soul, Ciri. He sold it to have the people in the village killed. Including my ex-beloved Alina. But you and your family and me were on the list not to be harmed. It was the only reason we even made it out alive. So, with his soul sold he must obey whoever owns it. They'll forever know where he's at, what he says, hears, does. They'll even be able to make him attack someone, make him curl up and cry like a puppy or even act all friendly." Then he looked at the water again with a shrug. "Then again, he is naturally an idiot. Many things he's done was his own agenda."
Ciri Sol'daar: -she nodded softly- "i gave my word to my gods and those who fought before me in the battles against the evils of our world, Yaj gave his soul and we have even fought battle over battle against each other" -she looked back at Aribius- "do you know who he sold his soul to?" -she studied him as they talked-
Aribius Nylta'al: "A sly demon named Kl'okin. He was very powerful and tricky. Oh, he was the kind of demon that loved taking peoples souls. Would never give one up for a world. Such a greedy thing. Always made his slaves like Yaj go on endless rampages for days. I am sure you remember Yaj assaulting many villages even on his own, yes?" He sat there as he talked. Sounding even calm about it all and let a paw pet the egg beside himself.
Aiden'wynth: -the egg trembled at the touch and remained warm with the petting, something, life pulsed inside of it-
Ciri Sol'daar: -Ciri nodded a sad little look in her eyes- "this demon...does it still live.? does it control him still?" -she let her paw move to her sword hilt slowly resting on it-
Aribius Nylta'al: "Nope, he is dead. I killed him about...." he paused thinking about it and was eve ncounting with his fingers. "Hundred and fifty years ago I think.... sounds about right." he grinned widely at Ciri.
Ciri Sol'daar: -her eyes widened- "you..killed him" -her voice was caught in a slight whisper as she watched him...things were falling into place as she thought quickly- "then...you...gained the demons banners and ....belongings.."
Aribius Nylta'al: "Indeed. Well, actually two things could have happened. I could have let the souls become free, returning to their original owners if still alive if not go to the world of limbo to for their fates to be judged or I could take all the souls to be mine." He turned in his position and rested an elbow on one leg and held his chin in a propped up paw. "So, what option do you believe I chose?" he asked her staring at her more.
Ciri Sol'daar: -she knew now that her fears were confirmed- "You took them...all of them and his powers..." -she frowned her paw still on the hilt- "you...you have your brothers soul.." -her voice rose slightly-
Aribius Nylta'al: "Mhm." he said smiling. "Poor little Yaj. He cries a lot though doesn't he?" Aribius chuckled. "What a shame that nice dinner not too long ago got ruined. I bet it would have tasted good wouldn't it?"
Ciri Sol'daar: -she frowned- "you...use him..triggering that attack and many others?" -she was looking at her surroundings, but then looked back at him- "ruining moments we had together"
Aribius Nylta'al: "Yes, I have." he admitted. "Why let you two go on and live a happy life at the expense of others. If you're looking to make amends with me, it's not going to work and I'm not giving his soul back so easily." He sat up straight now. "I already know Yaj said his offer about bringing back Alina, but it's too late for that. I'm with someone new now. Alina is old news."
Ciri Sol'daar: -she thought briefly and looked at him- "you wont let him go...without something..." -she knew that..she rolled to her knees then to stand and took a few steps away from where she had sat- "but what about a deal?"
Aribius Nylta'al: Using some magic he would levitate the egg safely to the side and laid gently onto the ground and stood up staring at Ciri. "What kind of deal? Going to trade a soul for his? That's about as low as I go unless you feel like fighting for it."
Ciri Sol'daar: -she used her paw to trace a star on her forehead and it glowed for a moment and her armor appeared on her form, it appeared battle-worn but well cared- "i will fight you...as a champion for his soul.." -she unsheathes her sword and her white feathered wings appear and unfurl behind her-
Aribius Nylta'al: "Oh, that's so cute. You're fighting for someone who cheated on you with their own free will? Do you know how many women he's slept with, Ciri?" he said. Aribius was no longer smiling. "And you do realize there's every possibility of me taking your soul."
Ciri Sol'daar: "you made him...cheat...you made his life miserable" -she growled softly- "..we fought for years and was it you who had him thrust the blades?" -she was acting on the fact that she had forgiven Yaj for things and for now she didn't seem to dwell on them-
Aribius Nylta'al: "The cheating was actually him. He does have many moments of his own free will, Ciri. if you believe that is false, then you should believe the whole being nice thing to you lately is false, too. He really is a monster without a master." He took a step towards her. "He is mad out of his mind. Many of those fights I did cause, some where from his own insanity. Most were the previous owner." His claws slowly extended from his fingers. "You don't want to fight me, Ciri. You should walk away."
Ciri Sol'daar: -she shook her head and took up her stance with the long sword in both paws- "i have asked him of his ...trists with other women and he says otherwise! i love him and i fight for justice!" -she held her ground-
Aribius Nylta'al: "Well, if you're going to fight me. I'll at least say don't start doing that whole holy light mumbo jumbo. I'm not a pure evil demon. Just a man who went his own way." The ground would start to shake beneath them and cracks in the ground began to be made, with sand falling into the cracks. Skeleton warriors, demons, dragons, lupinossai knights and many others started coming out of the ground and the sand all staring at Ciri. There was dozens. Aribius wasn't looking to play fair with Ciri.
