"Miss," The driver looked through his rear view window. "Should I stop for ice?"

Terry grunted out lightly as she held her shoulder. A weak smile crossed her lips in reaction to the worried question. "Naw, I'm all good." She rotated that stinging shoulder a little more. "I gotta' put that ice maker back home to work anyway, no reason to waste money."

"Ayo." Terry added on. This caught the drivers attention as she saw him spare her a glance through the rear view once more. "Don't call me Miss. I know Daxia's your boss, but we can be chill with each other."

"I'm here to drive, Miss. Not to be chill." He replied.

Terry groaned then while rolling her eyes.

The remainder of the drive had been an awkward one. Terry spent much of it wondering if she could ask for the driver to turn on the radio, but in the end she kept quiet. This was why the second she left that town car behind? She felt relieved. The sound of her little hide away with Peaches and Melanie hitting her ears the second she opened the automobiles door. It brought comfort to her.

She'd turn as the door closed behind her and the man moved to circle about the car and slip in through the drivers side.

"Ayo!" Terry called out. She could see him looking her way through the window. "Thank for the ride." said with a smile.

All she gained in return would be a dip of his cap before the car started up once more and began pulling away.

".. Ugh," Terry huffed out. "Hard *****, f'real.." She caught Cujo in her sights and spoke out to the large chimera. "I gotta' get Daxia to tell these dudes to cut loose a lil', ain't that right?"

The beast gained a few loving pat as Terry passed on by.

Peaches would be out late. Terry had no clue where Melanie might be. Tonight would be a lonely one. But? She had icecream and a full DVR of missed television shows to catch up on.

And...

"C'mere, Trouble." She'd scoop up the feline with her good arm after shutting the door behind her. "Let's get me some ice."
