Dante stared into his half empty glass of whiskey. In his head countless memories of his past ran in and out in a mad rush. Even though he was a different person then he could not help but sit there and think of the lives he took, the families he separated and the countless people whose homes were burned to the ground for his sick pleasure. With all of these things rushing in and out of his mind there wasn?t a moment of the day he didn?t regret who he was then. Even with his feeble attempts to repay the people that he hurt his pain still ran deep. After countless years of hurting others and being a soulless monster he was finally paying for his transgressions. Even though he had tried his best he knew that after what he did he would suffer for the rest of eternity with these thoughts in his head.

But even after his attempts at repaying his debts he was still a demon and still was causing trouble on an equal scale. It took someone to stand up to him and someone to point out that his evil still remained before he finally realized that even though he had stopped killing he still was hurting those around him. When this reality struck him he felt his life fall apart. But for the first time he felt his soul slowly emerge from its cell. He then realized that he had to purge his body of evil if he ever wished to truly shed his past. But can a demon ever make up for the pain he?s caused?
