I think its about time for an OOC thread on this board, so here it is, welcome to Sweetness and Shadows, this forum is built around the relationship of a mortal named Maria Eriko AKA Copperfield, and her vampire lover Talomar Longden, who is married to a mortal woman named Eiellani Longden AKA the Lady Longden. This is not a fancy frilly relationship, this is a hard brutal relationship that I will not sugar coat. There is extreme abuse and violence surrounding this relationship. If you have a problem with it, don't read it, simple as that.
We do edit out the strong sexual content, sorry guys, there may not be a rating on the boards here, but were trying to keep things as clean as possible, if you want to read it unedited, you'll have to go to the Sweetness and Shadows website, its not that hard to find. If you read them, don't complain, you chose to go passed the warning and the waivers, it was your choice, we didn't force you to read any of it, if you don't like what you see, its simple, click your back button or home button, or that little 'x' in the right hand corner, its just that simple.
We are however open to comments and compliments, if you like it or have a suggestion, feel free to leave them either here or email them through the contact us on the website, compliments keep us going, we love to hear that your enjoying this little soap opera and encourages us to continue. There is some what of a way the stories run, but as there are a few different topics here, you may find yourself reading a little out of order, order is established on the website.

Please don't post here without either mine, or Talomar MUN's permission, it will be deleted, fair warning, but feel free to join us in the inn, or request to join in on the story, were very open to new storylines and are currently working out a couple already suggested, so look out for some new blood in the next couple weeks, should be fun. I'm sure Talomar might have something to add here, but for now let me end this part of the post here. The next post I hope will be on the physics of our Kindred vampires, I think it important to provide a base that will help you understand why Talomar is warm and why his heart beats when most vamps are cold to the touch and have no heart beat.
