After his meeting with Mary the previous night, and learning that both Mei Mei and Mary both approved of him taking the new role as Honorary Associate and Adviser for the company. He would head to where Bonny Corp was at first, before taking a guided tour of the building. Which Mei Mei was happy to give, and true to his promise to both women. He tried nothing more with Mei Mei.

After the tour to learn the full layout of the company, he would head up to his own personal office. While asking Mei Mei to bring him as much information of the business, both past employees and those still working there. As well as any information of anyone that had dealings with them in the past.

Slowly he started to read over the files that Mei Mei brought him, catching the smile on the woman's face as she looked happy that Calix had taken such an interest in what was going on there. It was a two pronged deal. One it would allow him to know more about the company and employees, and second. It would give him a better understanding of both.

As each file was read and put to memory, as well as added to his own personal computer that he had set up. Something of his own design, before he came to a stop on one of the folders. Setting that one to the side for now, before continuing on with the others. Adding each one to the files on his own computer.

Still leaving the set aside file alone, as he moved on to the next agenda. That being the protections around the business. He would further update it, with an added twist of his own to it now. Linking the personal data pad that was on his left wrist, to his desk top computer. Updating the barriers with his own energy to make it where if anyone tried to force their way through. He would be alerted.

Finally he would make it to where Mei Mei and any other employees would be able to reach him, by phone or reaching him through that data pad. Making himself easy to contact if the need arose, once all that was taken care of. He plucked that folder up and leaned back. Now slowly starting to read over it.

"Interesting." Murmured to himself, as he read the folder of one Rose Black. Reading how hard her life had been, as well as everything that had happened to her. His brow rose further to seeing that she had a twin sister, but the thing that caught his attention the most. Was where she currently was at.

Closing the folder now, and setting it to the side again. As all the other folders had reappeared where each one belonged. Minus Rose's, before he moved to his feet. Leaving that folder laying on his desk, then slipped out of his office. Moving to head towards where Mei Mei was at.

"I shall return later. If you need me. Just call me or send a message to me. No one will bother you while I am gone." Bowing his head to the woman, before he turned to leave. Mei Mei might of caught a hint of determination in those ice blues. Calix was heading out to right a wrong that had been done. One that should of been done years ago.

Redemption? The thoughts penetrated into her dreams. Aside from having her son back? Was there anything she desired more then to redeem herself? She became more aware as she listened to the words this Calix spoke to her. After the song from Evening she had gotten to thinking? Now here was this person she didn?t know at all offering her help.

Rose appeared, naked as the day she was born. Yet there was no hint of embarrassment. The rose bush was still there behind her, Calix may have noticed a hint of her aura emanating from it. As though a piece of her still resided within it. Though she was no illusion, her physical form was most definitely there.

Intense emerald eyes penetrating him for a long moment. Carefully she moved forward in silence, her gaze locked on him as she moved in a circle around him. Bare feet falling softly with each slow step, hips swaying seductively, her movements a slow dance. Until she was facing him again and came to a halt, not two feet from him. Face to face as she stared him down.

The idea of making a deal was not something she would engage into after what happened last time. But she wanted to figure out what it was this unknown creature wanted of her, and what exactly he was offering her in return. She may have been bewildered but all that he would see was that determined stare, demanding answers.

?I?m not sure how you found me or why you are here? But I?d like to know who you are? And what makes you think you can possibly help me?? Her voice was soft but did not waver as she questioned him.

A t-shirt and jeans? It was most unusual to have anyone trying to put clothes ON her... but that wasn?t important right now. The Bonny Corporation? Yes, she knew of them. A number of people important to her were connected to them. Her twin sister for one and? someone else. A detail she need not think about now.

As he circled her like a shark she held perfectly still. She noted her heart beat accelerating and her body feeling things again? She had almost forgotten what it was like to be alive. Waking up was far more disorienting than she was letting on. It was also exhilarating.

An inquisitive brow quirked as his eyes changed. She felt the darkness but had no fear of it, all it did enhance her sense of excitement. She kept her gaze focused on him intently.

?A secretary?? It was stated with disbelief. But after a moment she shrugged. Just a detail, Rose wasn?t one to concern herself too much with details? Except for one. The answering only to him part concerned her. She would rather rip her heart from her chest than be tricked again.

?Enticing as your? offer? may be?? A pause as her eyes looked him up and down now. She chewed on her lower lip as she contemplated him. Was she really going to say no to the only person in this world who seemed to care whether she existed or not? The one offering her a life line?

?You just want me to work for you, and you will help me learn to live without? Learn to live again?? She asked as her gaze returned to his, searching for clarity and truth. The shell that she had been protecting herself with was disintegrating. The door was open now. She wanted to believe him so desperately.

She raised her brows to the companion remark. ?They never are?? She muttered. Who the heck did this guy think he was? He clearly meant more than a friend when he said companion. Did he think she was looking for one? She was not that na?ve and certainly had no inclination to get stuck on another man that didn?t want her. ?No worries there.?

She folded her arms as she watched him move away. ?Lucy was a sweet but vicious opponent who was loved by all who knew her. I had nothing to do with her death, I respected her was all. And I don?t know who you think you are that you can say anything about my sister. I know for a fact she would never let anyone like you close enough to her for you to be able to say a word about what she thinks of anything.?

?You are unbelievably presumptuous to think that you have any right to say these things to me. Or act as if you are not the only option here. I could take off and go to where ever I wanted right now. What makes you think I should or would answer to you??

She closed her eyes and took a deep breath as she got a hold of herself. His intentions were still unknown to her and she shouldn?t assume the worst. Not like assuming the best had got her anywhere good before but her emotions were difficult to keep in check. She had no idea what was going on or how long she had been gone even. Deep breath, in and out.

?Forgive me if I seem a little? upset and? rude? I appreciate your offer. I?m just a little confused.? Her eyes would meet his again, shining with tears. How did those get there? Maybe it was time to disappear again before she made an even worse ass of herself. Whether he had the right to say those things? she shouldn?t be going off on him either. Not to mention she had no wish to face all this pain that was quickly rising back to the surface. Perhaps it was time to go back into the isolation and peace that had been her reality.

Four years? No one had offered her anything? It was devastating words to hear but truth always hurts. So they were really gone then? She pushed the thought back, she couldn?t think about her son. It hurt too much.

She listened in silence to his words, meeting his gaze steadily. ?I?m not hiding? not anymore.? Something about that had struck a cord. She knew that she was stronger than this and more importantly? redemption was the only thing left for her. There was work to be done and she should be doing that rather than refusing to face the truth that had been so bluntly pointed out.

No, she had made the decision right then that whatever she did now it wasn?t going to be to disappear. ?You don?t know anything of my pain though... Please don't pretend you do. I?ve been through this same situation twice now so there must be something wrong with me.? Realizing it brought even more truth to his words. Not only did she make the same mistakes but she was so busy dwelling on her self loathing she had refused to deal with it.

?Yes, I?ve ended up in the same situation you could say? Believe me when I tell you? I don?t intend to end up there again.? Her eyes were full of fire and determination as they held his gaze. ?So also believe me when I say that since I am not making the same mistakes... If I think you are playing me I will be gone.?

?But otherwise? I would be grateful for your help?? She softened now. Upon making it clear that she wasn?t going to be used again she felt much more at ease. ?And I will do whatever I can for you in return.?
