Mary?s memo was delivered by hand to every employee, and another copy was posted with Bob?s letter.

My dear family,

You may have seen a letter recently about bringing the heads of certain individuals to our associate Bob. I do not wish to question his judgment, but I have reservations about our involvement in his plan. Here is my official stance on this:

First off, no one in the Corporation is under orders to kill anybody. If anyone wishes to attempt Bob?s directives in their free time, please consult with management first. We have dossiers on many of the people listed, and can tell you whether you are attempting something counter-productive or suicidal. Keep in mind that Bob?s enemies are not necessarily ours, and while he may be above worrying about money or morality, we very much do. That is not to say that we are ignoring the threat presented by some of these people; some of you will be receiving individual assignments soon to help resolve these conflicts.

As to some specific individuals mentioned: at this time I would prefer not to move against Wolvinator and his people, as we are already attempting to resolve matters in a civilized fashion. Except of course for Ren; I believe that Wolvinator would not take it personally if we destroyed her. She has been agitating both sides against each other, and I blame her fully for our disagreement with Wolvinator. Do what you will with her, I can?t find it in my heart to speak in her defense.

This brings me to my next point. Whoever secures the head of Wrath will get a raise and a bonus. She pretended to be acting under the orders of Bob, but instead was using his friends as pawns in her personal vendetta. She is also responsible for placing Brandon in the middle of the conflict with Wolvinator, nearly causing his death. And who is responsible for a murder ? the one who pulls the trigger or the one who convinces him it is necessary?

As for the angel child Naria, I forbid my employees from harming her. If anything, bring her to me alive, and you will be well compensated. I have my own business with her to sort out.

The rest of the list is a mixed bag: some potential enemies, some who we have no grudge against, and some that have made themselves our rivals. If anyone is going to try to kill us simply because we are friends with Bob, or because of their own sad preconceptions of us, they are filthy hypocrites who deserve neither attention nor pity. Any enemy that has been created by the act of saving a life, or through believing evil rumors, can not honestly claim to be a decent person or any kind of hero.

They are as transparent as their cause. They hunt us for glory, or the lust for combat, or their own personal gain. We have done nothing to deserve this persecution. If they wish for blood they will have it, but it won?t be ours.

That?s all for now. Otherwise, back to business as usual.

::she recieved her copy when she came to check on a few things. her pretty blues got big as she read both letters::

Ummm... Bob... yous grumpy 'ol thing yous...

::sigh... grin... sigh and shook her head as she put the letters away. Killing wasn't her thing but she knew sometimes it had to be done. She just didn't and wouldn't be a part of it on purpose. Course, there was the matter of self defense.... except Cadence couldn't .. or perhaps wouldn't ... hurt a flea on purpose. Then she resumed her business::
