Before she could even reach the gate a woman of gypsy coloring approached her. She was wearing a black leather catsuit - nothing about the employees here was typical. She inclined her head politely to Adrienne with that mischievous smile on her lips.

"The boss is expecting you." Her head motioned to the building just to the right of them. "I'll escort you in."

If Adrienne would follow she would be taken inside the abandoned building and into an elevator that had doors on both sides. A sequence of buttons was pushed. "We never use the front gate anymore. Security reasons." Marguerite would explain simply.

The doors opened on the opposite side, leading to a long hallway with a number of offices. She walked her down to the office at the end and after a certain pattern of knocking the door opened of its own accord. A hand was extended as she motioned Adrienne inside.

At her desk sat Mary shuffling through some papers. She immediately set them down and looked up with a pleasant sort of smile. "Welcome to the Bonny Corporation. So glad you could come out for this little interview. I am Mary Read, CEO of the company. May I get you something to drink?"

"No trouble at all." A nod was given to Mei Mei who just suddenly was in the corner of the room. She was a very attractive Chinese girl in beautiful silk robes. She had eyes of liquid mercury that had a hint of supernatural blood to them and long, fine, black hair. "Mei Mei, please get us two cups of coffee. That sounds perfect at this moment." It wasn?t just words, she clearly meant it. Mary was most sincere and it always showed.

Mei Mei of course inclined her head to Mary before flickering from sight for the moment. Returning her gaze to Adrienne she nodded. "Security is important to us. We go to great lengths to make sure everyone here is safe and only high level employees are free to come and go from the main office as they please."

Mei Mei then would reappear holding a silver tray with two mugs of coffee, cream and sugar. She bowed her head as she set the tray before Adrienne and Mary. Mei Mei gave a glowing and adoring gaze to Mary when she was given a "thanks" accompanied by one of those rare smiles. Mei Mei then returned to the corner in silence and seemed to fade from view in the next instant. Mei Mei had many talents beside being beautiful and serving drinks. She always shadowed Mary for the most part ? she had come far in her training.

Mary took her mug and sipped it just as was. She liked her coffee black. The coffee of course was of the highest quality, everything here was and Mary liked getting the full flavor.

Though clearly swamped with work, she took in Adrienne with sharp, ice blue eyes from over the mug. She observed that she was some what nervous in her presence, which showed good instincts. Mary may have a kind nature but a beast still exists beneath the calm exterior.

Mary noted with approval that she also projected calm and confidence despite this. Mary actually smiled as she watched her for a moment before speaking again. "I like your attitude. Coming into my domain with such certainty will serve you well as a bar tender in my club - where quite literally anything could happen."

She wanted Adrienne to understand what she was getting into, so in typical Mary fashion, she gave it to her straight in that business like manner she handled everything with. "As you may know The Club is not exactly typical. It is dedicated to being a pleasure palace where the people of Rhy'Din can come to safely indulge their fantasies. As a bar tender you may only have to be responsible for serving drinks but you must be prepared for anything."

Mary gave the prospective employee an appraising sort of look ? she had a fondness for strong women and she liked the sense this one gave her already. "Rose says you are very street wise and capable of handling yourself for the most part. We will of course have various body guards stationed throughout the club in normal clothes so no one will notice them and the mood will not be disrupted by their presence. But, should anything get out of hand, we have people who will step in."

She brought out one of the company surveys and set it next to the tray. "If you could please fill this out it is customary for applicants of pretty much any position with our little organization... You may decline to answer any questions you do not wish to answer." The survey was actually originally distributed by Bob on some sort of whim but Mary kept all of them safely tucked away. She liked knowing as much as possible about those who worked for her. If they were to become an employee they were like family and she didn?t want just anyone getting that sort of position. A friendly sort of smile was given. "We look on our employees as family and make sure they are well cared for. You have a very high recommendation from a bar tender I have respect for so that speaks volumes in itself... Not to mention my instincts on people tend to be pretty good. So I guess the only question is... can you make it to opening night this weekend? I believe in trial by fire. I think you will be up to it and you will have help. My own daughter will be serving drinks as our official? Well she?s a waitress, you will meet her soon enough.?

?So? I know this is all very last minute. Opening night of Club Babylon is quite an event but it is by invitation only so all the people there are welcome guests but it is a tough job all the same.? Mary's head was quirked to one side in that inquisitive gesture she sometimes had. Her eyes calculating and measuring the responses - silent as well as what she would voice - from Adrienne. ?Are you are up for the job??

No one could ever accuse Mary of not being direct. She just laid it out there for her and awaited her reaction.

"Very well then. You'll be starting immediately, at the Grand Opening this weekend. I have faith that you'll be able to keep up." She smiled at the club's newest employee, who was every bit as impressive as the previous hires.

"Now that Anne is back from Earth, she is handling most of our Corporate finances. You can talk to her about your salary. Also, we like to reward our employees from time to time, so let her know what kind of bonuses would appeal to you. If there is anything you need now, feel free to ask. Here is my card with my cell phone number and that of our secretary Marguerite. If you need a company phone, we'll be happy to give you one."

"Otherwise, I'll see you at the club opening night." She rose and extended a hand for a warm handshake. "I'm truly delighted to meet you, and looking forward to seeing you in action."
