1) The Golem. A golem is a legendary Hebrew creature, an inanimate servant brought to life by a holy person. They are traditionally made of clay. Ours are made of rock; it is a dense, very heavy black stone, with a dull shine. The limbs of the golem bend but it is not a graceful creature; it moves like a clay man. It is slightly slower than a human but immensely stronger. The Golem has intelligence in the same way as a computer; it can employ simple logic, but has no emotions and must be directed to perform tasks.
The instructions inside its head (written on a magical scroll called a "chem" or "kem") tell it who its master is, its primary function in existing, and the rules by which it lives. This golem expects to primarily guard a door. It is instructed that its master is Lord Brutin, and that barring Lord Brutin's instructions it should not kill anyone. It will, however, shatter the knees of any intruder that doesn't listen to its warning to halt. A golem can hold a conversation, but does not have opinions unless it is taught otherwise.
The guns:
A pneumatic-fire mechanism; a rechargeable battery in the handle powers the intake of atmosphere, which is used to propel the darts. The darts themselves are small, the size of hypodermic needles (about three inches long, with curved metal ridges for fletching.) The needles are poured into a hatch above the trigger and mechanically directed from there into the firing chamber, allowing for rapid loading. A dial set into the handle of the gun allows it to be set to single-fire, rapid-fire, or burst mode. This handy little device rarely jams or has problems, and is much favored by the Corporation. We call them Needle Guns, or Needlers; though we have sent you the sedative variety, Needle Guns can dispense a wide variety of drugs. Some are horrific. Two hundred in the first shipment tonight, as promised, and the other three hundred by Tuesday.

Standard-issue Needle Gun darts. Hollow, loaded with a tranquilizer that will put out a normal-sized human for four hours, give or take fifteen minutes. Given a successful hit, it will put down its target in ten seconds. It is harmless unless the victim happens to hit their head on a rock while falling over unconscious. The first quarter million doses will arrive tonight, another quarter million Tuesday, the rest Friday.
The gas:
We have as much of the stuff as you can use. It's a hyped-up version of Ketamine (an animal tranquilizer) in aerial form. The canisters are less than ten pounds apiece, small enough to fit in a backpack. The release pulls like a hand grenade, activating a two-minute timer. After this, the gas will rush out and fill the room. It works best in a small area (a vehicle the size of an oil tanker or smaller). It should be refreshed with a new canister every six hours or so, though it may wear off faster if an improperly sealed container vehicle allows it to leak. Incidentally if released into a larger room (say, a concert hall) everyone inside will start "K-Rolling." Some find it a pleasant experience.
