Faye Valentine

Faye showed up in style, as always. The roar of her black convertible could be heard for some distance before it came to an abrupt halt in front of the Bonny Corporation's main office. Long legs stepped out of the vehicle leading there way up to the curvy Faye. She left the car idling where it was, she wasn't concerned about it being stolen. It had... Special features that would prevent such inconvenient events. It had been given to her by Bob - enough said.

She approached the building and rang the bell. Marguerite had been expecting her and so would come to the gate promptly. She was so efficient that one.

Faye brought with her a white envelope containing a lock of golden hair. Placing it in the mailbox, she instructed Marguerite that it was to be taken directly to Lady Bonny or Miss Read. A quick nod and she turned around, walking back to her car with the usual enticing sway of her hips. Despite the nature of her errand, it wouldn't do to appear without that sexual aura she always seemed to hold. Besides, she was going to get Lucy back. This was all that mattered.

Marguerite would request that Faye meet her at the real entrance to the building. Informing her that Miss Read had some details to work out with her before she went. She was polite about the request. But they were well aware The Bonny Corporation were the only ones who could give Faye what she wanted more than anything else in this world. Her kitty back.

Hearing the secretary call after her, Faye came to a halt. Slowly she turned around. Her smile did little to conceal the irritation in her voice. "Oh? Details?" Her arms crossed over her chest as she stared at the woman with a quirked brow.

With a heavy sigh she walked off towards the warehouse building, she had used it to get in on more than one occasion. She just wanted to get whatever it was over with. Faye had not exactly been feeling sociable since she lost Lucy. But as they were well aware, she was in no position to refuse them. She would put up with it for now.

Once Faye was shown in she would be brought to Mary. Anyone who knew Mary could tell by the fact her eyes were brown and not blue meant this was actually not all about business. She was wearing one of her typical form fitting black suits and her hair was tied back in a bun. Always the picture of an attractive and professional woman.

Mary's voice was soft as she spoke, "Thank you for taking the time to come up Miss Valentine. I am sorry the circumstances of this meeting are what they are... How are you holding up?" Her eyes were full of sorrow as they looked Faye over - trying to get a feel of her state of mind.

Faye appeared outwardly as though she had it all together. But the smile Mary got in return to her inquiry was full of bitterness. "How am I holding up?" She feigned contemplation before answering.

"Well let's see... My man has moved on because I had to leave without saying goodbye. Of course, if I hadn't followed Lucy off to that 'Cat Home' place I knew I might never see her again. But the ironic part of me making the choice to assure Lucy would make it back alive is that she was murdered right after we returned." Faye closed her eyes against the memory and shook her head. "All I have left is a big empty house full of painfully beautiful memories and the lifeless body that used to contain my soul mate."

Faye's emerald eyes were sharp and cold as they stared at Mary. "Does this answer your question?"

Mary didn?t want Faye to realize how personal of an issue this was to her? She would speak with a gentle and sympathetic tone, careful to keep her own emotions hidden. ?I know this is hard. We are going to do everything in our power to bring Lucy back and there is something you can do to help??

?But before we get to that, I wanted to talk to you about having some sort of service and putting Lucy?s body to rest. I would take care of everything for you? It is the least that I can do.?

"No, WE will handle everything. I appreciate it if you wanna flip the bill and take care of some of the details for me... But I know exactly what Lucy would have wanted. Only I can make sure it is perfect for her. So if you wanna help great, but that means we will be doing this together." Faye stated this firmly and she would hear no argument on the subject.

Whatever Mary's sorted past with Lucy may have been... No one loved her like Faye. And Faye was not about to sit back and let Mary 'take care' of anything. She was a big girl, she could handle it, no one needed to coddle Faye. But she could use Mary's help with perhaps procuring certain things... So if she was offering assistance Faye wasn't turning her down either.
