A solitary light could be seen inside the main building of the corporation at odd hours suggesting that someone at least still is at home inside. As the shield that was put up by The Abyss himself can never be removed by any force or time that light is the only hint to the outside world of what goes on there. If the employees have a way of coming or going it is not discernable from the outside.

On this night Mary sat at the desk she had been at more then she had expected since it was first given to her. It was more then suitable for her needs as Anne always made sure she had the best of everything. This was where she would manage things. Anne?s office would be left exactly as it was, in the hope of her return some day?

She spent a minute reflecting on all that had happened recently. The loss of her best friend and her one true love had made it hard to focus for a while, but now it was time to get to business. Remembering she still had friends and people to take care of helped as she began to concentrate on what she still had and how much needed to be done. Her daughter Calico was still roaming around Rhydin most likely? Things are never as bad as they seem and she and Anne had been parted before. Though she couldn?t help but resent the fact that she was leaving at the call of her sire. She knew how important this was to her but still? they had made a life here and now she leaves when Mary needed her most.

She sighed and shook her head to clear it of all the thoughts that would surely only serve to weigh her down. She pulled out a piece of the thick cream colored parchment that Anne had often used and laid it down before her. Picking up a beautiful black feather quill and dipping it in black ink she began penning out the letters she must write to a few important individuals. For a long time she did this, making each letter specific to each person she wrote to as she couldn?t just send the same letter to everyone who she needed to contact. A simply memo would just not do. Those who worked for the Bonny Corporation were not just employees, they were friends. They were a part of those she thought of almost like family and she had been out of touch for a while now. She desired so much to see them again, so she wrote the invitations one by one. Also she wrote to a very select few who were not a part of the corporation but whose council she could really use right now.

This was a turning point for the company after all; she needed to establish where they were to go from here. There was much to be done and she wasn?t going to let her family down by not rising to the challenge. Being in complete control of the Bonny corporation things would be done her way now.

As she finished each letter they were then sealed with red wax and stamped with a blank circle. Upon finishing the last one she summoned Marguerite; a beautiful and voluptuous young woman of Gypsy coloring. She liked wearing a black leather cat suit; Mary and Anne had not discouraged this. It was awfully cute and unless occasion called for it, it was good that she didn?t look too "business like". She handed the envelopes to Marguerite carefully then watched as she shuffled through them briefly, taking note of each name on the five letters. After doing this she looked up as Mary spoke:

?You must make sure that these get to the people they are addressed to. This is very important so make sure it is done quickly and discretely.?

Marguerite, who always seemed to wear a mischievous smile, looked at her most seriously at this time. Bowing she said simply:

?It will be done tonight.?

Mary gave her a kind smile and nodded before giving her more instructions:

?I know it will be. You have been most faithful to Anne and I trust only you with such an important mission. I expect a reply from each of these individuals so just stay and wait with them until they have read the letter and given you an answer. If they wish to write back then wait until they have done so and bring it directly to me. I trust your memory for verbal replies which will do just fine. I leave it to you to see that arrangements are made for them to get inside the building at the appropriate time.?

Marguerite smiled to her and replied, ?Of course?. Bowing once more she left the office to set about her task. Mary watched her leave then rose from her seat. She needed to make sure that all would be ready when the time came. With a smile and another shake of her head she couldn?t help but think that it was Anne who was good at entertaining. Well, she would do her best to make sure that her guests would be quite comfortable when they arrived and that everything would be in order.
