A simple manila envelope was dropped into the 27th Special Operations Divisions mail bin. To any of the staff processing the mail that day the envelope was addressed as thus:

To: Captain Brian Ravenlock -or- Captain Kerri Ravenlock
27th Special Operations Divisions,
Rhy'Din Watch,
Rhy'Din City.

From: Anonymous Reporter
Rhy'Din News Break,
Rhy'Din City

The envelope would feel heavy and thick as if holding photos. Should either Captains or clerical staff open said envelope the following contents would spill out:

6 black and white, high definition 8.5 x 11 photos, enlarged and depicting what seems to be night time pictures taken in the West End during winter.

2 of the photos shows a slightly blurred bulk of a man on a roof top, the blurring from the recoil of what may be an old German class of sniper rifle. The muzzle flash illuminating the shooters face that was obscured behind a scarf; human by all possible inspection.

1 photo shows a distinct, black, Batman-esque motorcycle and a rider fully clothed in black with a helmet fashioned like an old Crusade Helm moving into an alley. Another photo showed A scrap of a woman, ethereal and every bit as fast by her athletic curves. Her lack of heavy clothing in the cold may allude to something other than human.

The last two photos appear to show a climax of sorts. The alley back lit by a fire while the shadows of two people struggled with each other and a faint len flare from the upper corner in rough proximity of the sniper. The other photo shows the same alley, day break by the horizon of light slowly shoving the shadows upon the nestled buildings down towards the street. A dark streak was seen leading from the alley side by side with heavy drag marks in the snow.

A small, type written note was included with the photos, the font and type face from an apparently old, manual type writer showing heavy use from the slightly blotted lettering and fading blue ribbon ink. Stapled to the note was a small zip lock bag with several thin throwing shivs and a spent bullet casing.

The note would simply read:

I am withholding my name as the possible subject(s) in these photos may lead to my career termination with the Rhy'Din News Break organization. These photos and possible evidence you hold were collected by me during the height of some rather unusual drug cartel stories back 2014. One being a dock warehouse explosion another being a business compound suffering a terrorist attack. Needless to say, these items have been lost in the shuffle of other news but I am turning them over to the proper authorities having read that the 27 Division was possibly working those cases.

I know the photos are not much but I believe whoever was being whacked may have been the guy behind the news stories. A tip from my lackey's on the street bring up two words when I show these photos and the bits and bobs I picked up; Ivy and Brimstone. Other than that I got nothing else on the lady or the shooter. Maybe you can dig something up or bury it in the archives.

No initials, farewells or signatures. Forensics would find no prints on the note, articles or photos but a trace on the ink may tell a tale. The bullet casing and shivs would match up with any collected evidence in the Brimstone Letter cases with one partial print on the casing matching one Ivan Vel Yovin.

Among the patrols of the local watches in West End they'd find the body of a young girl drained of blood. Two sets of vampire bites would be on her neck. Should a lab run the results two positive matches would come back for Ivan Vel Yovin and Lonni Rouge.

The body would be dressed in simple, black cotton peasant wear, a small embroidered SQ in read thread upon the simple collar of the tunic marking the girl in the service of the Street Queens. Within a pocket of the blouse a small bag contained slightly glowing orange pills. Analysis would place them as pure Brimstone, unadulterated and matching only one manufacturer, Hollows Bio Cell and a patented chemistry belonging to Ivan Vel Yovin.

These reports would be taken directly to the offices of the 27th Special Division as many of the Watch had no desire to get entangled when Drug Lords and Vampire Escort Services were in the mix.
