::Joe steps inside the doors of the 27th's HQ and looks around. Tall, American Indian, in biker leathers with an unlabeled abstract dragon on the back of his jacket. In one hand he carries a briefcase as he saunters to the front desk.::

I was told I could find one Captain Ravenlock here.

Someone's ears just pricked!

The ears of someone who happened to be behind the desk tending to somethin' else, yup.

So Kerri whipped around, an took a gander at the tall drink o' water in leathers. "An a briefcase, no less? Hmm?"

"You were told right, stranger. You can find one Captain Ravenlock here, ooooooooor you might find TWO Captain Ravenlocks here, Ah, Ah." She even used her 'count' voice for the ah's.

"I am Captain Ravenlock, how can I assist you my fine tall and leathery friend?"

::Joe chuckles softly at Kerri's words and nods.::

I am Joe Dragonclaw Shadetree, Owner of Joe's Motorpool. I was told to seek a Captain Brian Ravenlock here about the need for some vehicles. I am here to see what I and my business can do for you.

"Don't ask what you can do for her, Joe... Cause I'll tell you the truth, as big as you are-- you may not be able to handle her answer."

That said, Brian appeared next to the pair, throwing a glance to Kerri.

Hey! Not cool, Bri!

Brian's eyes returned to Joe once more, "Good to see you again, Joe. Hope you're getting settled in alright."

Huffing a bit, Kerri left the men alone and went back to her bid'ness (That's what she calls it, true story).

"So Joe, ready to talk shop? If so, let's head into my office and see what we can come up with, yeah?"

Brian motioned down the hall, "We definitely have some needs here equipment wise, Joe. I think you're just what this division needs to fit that bill."

::Hearing Brian's voice, Joe smiles and turns toward him. His comments about Kerri earn a raised eyebrow. But Joe just gives her a quick considering glance, and then turns his attention fully to Brian.:: It's good to see you as well.

::Joe would follow Brian down the indicated hall.:: Just got the settling in done enough I feel able to talk shop. And so I brought some catalogues and paperwork to help get that rolling. ::Brian's last comment earns a grin and a soft chuckle.:: I hope I can meet your needs and specifications.

?I'm glad to hear that, Joe.?

Brian paused, opening the door to his office as he held it for Joe. ?After you good Sir.?

Allowing Joe to move inside, Brian followed and the man inside and motioned to his desk, which looked to have what seemed to be several blue prints set about it.

?These are some of the older equipment we used to have, and currently have. However, I'm looking to definitely take things in another direction Joe.?

Brian shifted the prints so Joe could have a quick look see for himself, ?We modified several vehicles that Public Works had in surplus and that worked for what we needed, but with the way things have been these left few years, not to mention our new Emergency Medical Service, and the Tactical Medical Response Unit, it's time for some new equipment. I'm also looking for a mobile command center as well.?

Kerri poked her head inside, ?Yo Bri, I'm gonna get me some links on the crisp, you guys want in or what??

Brian looked to Joe, ?I think she's asking if we want anything to eat or drink, Joe??

"Just Sweet Tea if you got it, or coffee, bloack, if you don't. Thanks, Miss." ::Joe nods to Kerri. Then turns his attention to the blue prints, and visibly winces.:: Ah. Seems to me some of those were the top of the line, when they came out.

"It soounds like you might be needing a rather wide variety of vehicles, but I would suggest selecting a "base" vehicle to build as many of them as possible on. That would simplify both the training of your drivers and repair and maintenence issues, especially those that might occur in the field. I would suggest an APC like I used on this Veternary vehicle Andu had me make for a friend of his." ::Joe takes a large tablet PC out of his brief case and brings up a file on the Vet APC. The tablet is then pushed across the desk to Brian.:: "The Vet APC is well armoured, though not to battlefield standards. Yet it still has enough space inside for something the size of a hippo or a adult horse to be operated on inside. It also holds a combination ofthe highest possible medical tech as well as several custom Techmagic devices."

"Whether or not an APC base would work as mobile command post depends on just how much and what kind of capabilities you want in it. If you want something that can hold several persons doing command, communications and survielance duties, I would suggest going with a Landmaster base instead." ::Joe reaches over to point out the link on the tablet for the Landmaster base."

?Gotcha Bro-Chacho! Tally-Ho!?

An like that, Kerri was off to get whatever the hell Joe had asked for... what was it? Oh yeah Joe Black, baby! Now that was a man's drink right there, it'll slap some hair on the chest-less and give some curls to peach fuzz!

Hearing Kerri take off down the hallway, Brian somewhat facepalmed and offered Joe an apologetic glance, ?Thank the Lord, she's on our side...?

Looking at the schematics, Brian nodded softly as Joe explained things to him. Carefully he glanced between the two models, taking many things into account as he did so.

?I like the APC a lot, Joe. I think it's got the size we really need for what we currently do, I'm not worried about battlefield standards currently, since these will be within the city... Size will be an issue too, so these will work out rather nicely. Now as to these... Solar panels, can these be removed? And this tire atop... I'd like a turret, there-- if that's possible.?

He then looked to the larger of the two, ?Now this Land Master Base... I'd like to have one of these, and have it kept outside the city... I think that might just fit a contingency measure I am looking into.?

Brian nodded to Joe, and looked back to the vehicles once more. Thoughts of 'Scarred' came to mind, further reinforcing the Captain's resolve... They would not be caught like that again, if he could somehow help it.

::Joe nods, and watches Brian consideringly a moment as he thinks through his answers. Then he nods again.:: Yeah, the panels are there because some of the medical equipment Sean uses are bears for energy consumption, and he doesn't have anyone much beside himself and his own equipment to depend on. The last part of that is the reason for the spare as well. Putting a turret on depends mainly on what kind of turret we're talking about, and what you plan on putting in it. Cupolas are bigger and take up more space. Regular ones are smaller, but take up space inside for the gunner and stuff. Platforms are the smallest, but are limited in what they can hold. A vehicle that size, should manage two platforms or small turrets, or one cupola and a small platform.

As for the land master... Well, you know, you had about the same look on your face as Andu did when he put in the order for the power armor for his big purple guy. The one pictured there is the slightly longer than original that I used as a base for the one I made him. They come in size from a mini, which is just the front and back chopped and hard sealed together, to ones with up to 4 of those center sections. Each section is capable of holding a turret up to a large cupola. It would need a garage of its own if it was kept outside the city. Some place to store all the support gear and back up supplies.

Brian listened intently to the man while looking over the materials once more. Everything Joe said was taken in rather carefully, as Brian continued to scan the documents. When Joe had finished, Brian nodded a bit and looked to the man once more.

?Joe I believe this will work out very well. I?m going to get together some preliminary specs for you in regards to what we?d like to have taken out and added. Now for the Land Master? I?ll need two of those, one for the 27th which will have to be cut down to two modules in the center.?

Brian looked to the picture of the Land Master once more, ?The other will be for personal use? I?ll need it also cut down, one module in the center. As to storage, I have a few ideas as well. If you give me a day or two, I?d be glad to meet you again and we can hammer out the details.?

::Joe nods and smiles and makes a couple notes on his tablet, then gathers the material together again.:: Okay. One land master with one center section, and one wth two. An APC base for an EMS and a TMRU to begin with. That gives me enough to get started on the basic designs with.

::Straightening with hisbreifcase reloaded and in his left hand, Joe turns to Brian.:: I'll get together some lists of current options I actually have on hand for the "extras", turrets, medical equipment, sensors, that sort of thing.

::He holds out a business card with his contact information to Brian.:: Just let me know when you are ready to meet up again and we can make arraignments to meet up or you can just stop by the Motor pool if ou are in the area.

Brian took the card with a warm smile, nodding to the man in the process.

"Thanks again, Joe. I look forward to seeing what we can do, here."

Brian added, "Also, I have a new addition signing on as well. She'll be part of our Medical Units Tactical Division, I'd like to bring her by when we meet next, if that's alright."

::Joe smiles widely.:: That would be more than okay. Getting the views of those that will actually be using the equipment helps a lot all across the board.

Well, I'll be letting you get back to your work, and get on pulling together those base designs and lists.

::Joe would hold out his hand for a shake, then turn and head for the door when that was done.::
