After having taken a very long tour of the city called Rhy'Din in a vast spreading realm of territory, Hope had finally decided to take action. Granted she was a displaced, lost member of Washington State Law Enforcement but this city seemed it was in need of some law enforcement. She had no clue what even passed for laws in a place that exacerbated her mind and the moral code she'd sworn to back on, well, Earth. Hearing from several of the residents of Rhy'Din about the 27th division of the Watch, she set out to make a showing.

The offices were easy enough to find with the right amount of patience and hefty effort to switch off the beat cop mentality as she walked. It'd been a few weeks, and she'd kept her uniform and gear as pristine and serviceable as possible; though it was going to be obvious she was a bit rumpled and looked like someone who'd been on a stake out that had gone on for too long. Adjusting her gun belt and badge she checked her uniform one more time in the reflection of the front door then entered the office.

The front area seemed to have a regulation style layout to it instilling in her a bit of courage with something familiar. She approached the front desk and spoke with the officer on duty.

"I'd like to speak with a Captain Ravenlock about possible employment opportunities with your precinct?" Hope was unaware of the possibilities of more than one Captain Ravenlock.

It was just another day at the 27th, business as usual and then...

Hmm, what do we have here? Oh my, it is... so very pretty no less, and official looking too?

*sniffsniff*

?It's a Terran, yup...?

Those emerald orbs narrowed ever so, keeping quite the eye on the new arrival. ?Heh heh... Let's see where this goes, uh huh.?

Could the voice have been heard? Quite possibly, I'd imagine. Especially, given the fact that the owner of said voice was hiding behind a large artificial fichus tree that was no more than fifteen feet away from the front desk.

Hiding rather badly, I may add.

Her body should be seen easy enough, I mean really!

Look, let?s put it this way? you have a cat, right? You know ALL cats at times swear to anything and everything that they are certified and board trained / recognized Ninjas of the absolute highest caliber bar none, right? How they can be in PLAIN sight and yet you don?t see them one bit? I mean even if it?s a black cat on an all-white tile floor, you didn?t see jack and or ^&%$.

Now back to the fichus, if you please.

Emerald orbs peeked from the foliage and that was about it, however the rest of the owner of said orbs was not so covered. So behind this thin fichus, we see a watch uniform? neatly pressed, no less and behind said form was a tail that swished back and forth, thumping as it did so.

The eyes would blink, a few times and then narrow?those slit forming most intently.

Then, came the voice once more. ?Hmm, slim? I?d say a buck-ten maybe? That?s okay, we can feed her. I mean we have to feed her, I got dogs bigger than her!?

*Blinkblink*

One could imagine that with all this going on, it would be hard for the desk officer to do what he needed to do and guess what? you?re absolutely correct. Still that aside, the desk officer put on is best smile, as he addressed the new arrival. Of course as he did this, he occasionally looked back towards the fichus.

?Welcome to the 27th, Miss. I see you?re--- *a glance taken back*?

His eyes returning to the arrival once more, ?I?m sorry about that, it?s an evaluation day. Please forgive us. Anyways, you want see Captain Ravenlock. I?m sorry But he?s---?

*ThWaP!*

His head rocked forth as if he were struck by something upside the back of his head, ?Ow!?

?Heh heh heh? ? from that Fichus.

Well the desk officer recovered enough to continue, ?I?m sorry, Captain Ravenlock is? right over there.?And with that, the young officer nodded towards that fichus. , one of the Captain Ravenlocks that is.?

Did the fichus tree just salute!?

Hope watched the officer begin to speak but the way he looked at her gave the feeling he was thinking she was cute. That was a mistake and she was considering the percentages of not being hired if she gave the man a nice right cross to the cheek. By the time she thought about, she caught him staring at her again though his line of sight seemed off. Was he staring at a Fichus she had accepted as interior decoration, nothing more?

There was indeed a woman's voice that was speaking somewhere behind her and off of her left shoulder. A blond eyebrow ticked up a moment and Hope returned her attention to the officer as he had greeted her then took a step back seeing him thwapped in the head by something unseen. She just stared at the guy.

"Are you okay?" She offered no further aid. This city was bizarre and knowing her luck, she'll help him and some ghost or vampire or crazed cosplay freak was going to attack her as well.

Hearing his direction to speak with a Captain Ravenlock, she turned to face the fichus tree where the voices had been heard as well. She surveyed the plant and the woman, er, well she thought it was a woman. Green eyes, uniformed, hiding behind plants and dear god was that a tail swishing? A tail? Hope felt her familiarity with the police environ crumble. She should've known the odd ones would be in this line of work as well.

"Please tell me you're an actual police officer and not an anime cat girl wannabe? Comicon in Seattle is not a venue with the best of memories for me." She said to Kerri in a hopeful tone.

She did offer her hand to the woman. "Deputy Hope Jubal, formerly of the Clover Rock Police Station, Washington State, America." She hoped that wasn't going to come out sounding like some martian language to the woman.

Well, I don?t know about you folks, but if Hope?s first thought in all of this was that the desk officer thought she was cute, there may be a wee bit o? concern to be had.

That aside folks, we get back to the heart of the matter!

From behind the Fichus came a rather sardonic bit of laughter, ?Oh ho ho ho ho ho and ho!?

Feline orbs of emerald blinked from their foliaged cover, ?You have jokes, Deputy Hope Jubal, formerly of the Clover Rock Police Station, Washington State, ?Murica, Hmm??

Moving from her ?cover? behind the fichus, Kerri nodded softly as those emeralds of hers, narrowed ever the more so, while her right hand lifted to allow a stroke of her chin. ?Washington State, hmm? The birthplace of Star Shmucks, grunge and not to mention, too many glittery vampires for my taste. Yes, yes?.?

Eying Hope a tad more carefully, Kerri continued her assessment. ?You?re thin?almost too thin? Momma here is glad you?re packing a 17, though? Buuuut, I?m gonna guess that?s a 9mm job, cause it can?t be the 3-fiver, cause that would snap those cut lil? wrists of yours. Bad for business, that would be.?

?And--- Comicon doesn?t have jack on this city, sweet-cheeks. So if that lil? fest of geekiness left you with some bad juju, you?ll need really thicken that skin o? yers. But we can work on that, right? We need to feed you too, Momma can?t have you running around like some kinda Sally Struthers advertisement, either.?

Kerri came to stop a few steps before Hope, she looked up a bit to Hope?s own eyes, cause y?know Kerri clocked in at a modest 5?4?, so hope had a few inches on her.

?I?m Captain Kerri Al?Tuatha Ravenlock, Deputy Jubal. Welcome to the 27th Special Operations Division of the Rhy?Din Watch & Localized Militia. Now, I have one question to ask you an it?s an important one. Now I want you to think carefully on this, alright??

Kerri?s tone was a more serious one indeed, ?What is the greatest cop show you have ever watched??

That being said, Kerri offered a hand out to Hope in greet.

Hope Jubal

Date: 2015-02-06 13:26 EST
Hope did her level best not to grind her teeth from the informal dress down by the woman. Kerri had her points, Hope conceded mentally and decide to roll with the punches. She needed work badly and law enforcement was her long shot back home. She was not going back to waiting on tables or dish washing.

"Yes, I'm from 'Murica as you say. Not a fan of grunge and I prefer my Dunkin' Donuts coffee over Char Bucks. Not everyone living in Washington backs the idea of glitter vampires that Twihards drool over. Also, I believe if you're gonna walk around looking like your part animal then they odd bits better be attached and working. Fake cat girls are deplorable." Hope said trying not to think of a small collection in her little one room apartment of anime and video games. She never did grok the idea of playing with dolls and dresses.

She seemed to loosen a tad bit from her stiff-spine attention drilled into her by her former sheriff. The fact that Kerri was chatting in terms that were not alien to her was a blessing in many ways. Hope took a small breath, counted to three in her head silently and collected her wits further.

"Yes, I am a bit thin skinned. Occupational hazard at the moment, Kerri." She took a risk at being familiar with the woman as her employment seemed undecided still. "I was going to say it's from being displaced from some place I know into some nightmare version of Alice in Wonderland. I walked around this realm for a few weeks and I get the solid feeling I am not the first to suffer like this. In time I am sure that my tolerance and understanding will sufficiently thicken my hide. As to my thinness as you put it, few in the department could throw me down without a good series of bruises and cracked ribs to account for. I pride myself on using leverage not brute force."

She shifted in her stance a small bit to look down at Kerri which was odd, as it felt like cat girl was staring down at her instead.

"Yes, it's a 9mm. Sheriff Rimen did not feel I warranted a point and shoot cannon of a gun. His philosophy was that an officer with the second highest range scores was to be accorded with smaller fire arms to mark their ability to aim and make their shots count. I had a hard time talking him out of slapping me with a .22 toy gun and a scope. Bad enough I was one of two female officers in all of Clover Rock. I am curious as to why you call yourself Momma?" She asked.

The question about her favorite cop show had her staring at Kerri. What the hell did that question have to do with working in law enforcement? Granted nothing was normal about her situation at all so what the hell, she'll bite.

"For real world police shows I prefer Law & Order with NCIS as a close second and Colombo a distant 3rd. For fictional I prefer Ghost in the Shell, Dominion Tank Police and You're Under Arrest." She said. The one time she was fessing up to watching anime.

She took Kerri's offered hand and shook it. Her grip steady, not hard, not soft, just right for quick action if needed.

"What are you, exactly, Kerri? You look familiar for some reason."

Kerri Al Tuatha Ravenlock

Kerri listened and listened pretty darned well, mind you. That head of hers ?noddled? softly, taking in everything Hope had to say. Those emerald orbs, continued to pan over the woman, almost as if she were some type of a new toy, course Hope was NOT a new toy. Just sayin?. Seeing the woman relax more, cause Kerri to do the same, even grinning a bit of a fangy grin, in the process.

As Hope finished, Kerri ?noddled? once more, releasing the woman?s hand as well.

?Well, lemme see... okay, we?ll start from the butt end o? all this. Cop Shows. Law & Order, hmm? I could ask you wish, but since ya said Columbo ima go with the classic Law & Order and maybe--- SVU? Earlier seasons, cause Stabler killed that %&%, yo. Fact. NCIS? Hmm, I guess if the real world worked like that I?d be cool. I?m not a fan of those Gibb things, what are they, slaps? Yeah those! Man some people here swear by that junk, I mean if I?m gonna smack you upside the head, I want you to see it comin?. Now to the anime, heh. I?d ask which GitS you liked but since ya said ?DTP? and ?YuA?, ima assume classic, and then maybe some Stand Alone Complex??

Kerri paced a bit in front of Hope and then paused, as she continued.

?Dunkin? coffee, good call. The day I pay 9 bones for some caff is the day you skin me an wear me like a pelt. Twihards are as bad as Fi?tee Shaders. I mean if you want a real vampire and bondage, go out an get you sum, it ain?t that hard, especially in this city! An I don?t mean those ?diet-lite? vampires, or dhampires, or ?omg I?m like princess vampire with wings, and elf blood and I?m forty percent dragon cause my mom had a vag the size of a big gulp and took a dragon?s ^&%$ like a Boss, yo?? Or something like that.?

As outlandish as this conversation was, it served a purpose. A damned good one, too. You see, Kerri was measuring Hope a bit, because while she knew right off the bat that Hope was in fact ?fresh off the boat? she really wanted to see how ?fresh? the woman really was. Cause as outlandish as ^&%$ sounded, ANYTHING and EVERYTHING seemed to happen in this city, so reactions to the most outlandish of situations or expressions were a good sign of where a person stood on such matters.

?You mention animal parts?Pop Quiz! How do you feel about the following, Minotaurs, Dragons, Fae and Fairy Folk, Lich-es an bitches, Warlocks, Mixologists, over-sexed elves wth way too much free time, fiery tempered red heads, demi-gods an goddesses, Santa Clause, The Easter Bunny, Delivery guys and Foot Fetished Amazons?for starters??

?Also, Hope.? Kerri added. ?Yer right, y?aint the first for this to happen to, but the fact you?re not some waif-ish blonde from the deep south with a trust fund and SUV far too large for her own good, is a blessing, cause we got WAY too much of that ^&%$ already. Anyways, we?ll get to that soon enough, along with your fighting prowess. An as to me, I ?are? nothing, what I am, is often imitated and never duplicated, we?ll get to that too, I promise. So back to the question at hand??

Kerri piped down, awaiting the answers.

Brian Ravenlock

It was about that time, that he came through the main lobby door with a pair of others. The trio looking rather dirty and rather ?worked? over. Smudges were strewn about their black short sleeved shirts and BDU pants of the same color, not to mention their faces also seemed to match. Each carried a black duffle bag in hand, and a tactical vest strung over their shoulders. Duty belts and side arms were present, and like the rest were dirty as hell.

His eyes panned the expanse of the lobby, as he then looked back to the door giving a nod. ?Bring ?em in, quickly. Right to the back, in booking. Watch that last one, yeah??

A trio of beings were herded into the lobby, hand cuffed and leg-shacked. Their heads were covered, as well as their escorting officers guided them through the lobby, and into the break-gate. Then it was down the hall, followed by the pair that had escorted him into the lobby, just before the trio.

That left Brian there, watching Kerri and the stranger with a somewhat raised brow as he did so.

It seems business had picked up.

Hope breathed in relief the Kerri accepted the answers so far though some things Kerri had said had Hope staring at her.

"i get the feeling you could fit into California really easy Kerri. So back to clarifications. Yes on the original for both Law and Order and Ghost in the Shell. SVU was a decent spinoff and Stand Alone Complex is okay. I have always wanted to see a Bonapart or a Tachykoma for real."

She gave a few blinks and watched Brian come in with fellow oficers and some heavily restrained and cowled perpetrators. She watched them, her next answer a bit distracted.

"Yeah, I've met minotaurs, dragons, vampires, elves, drow, gnomes, kitsune, lupes and a lot, lot, more in this realm. I think I just forgot my common sense assumin humans would be the only people in this gig. I stand corrected. Is it normal to treat perps here like hostages?"

Brian Ravenlock

He watched the exchange between the two ladies, listening carefully as he did. His eyes fixated on the stranger more so, as he made several mental notes of her uniform, specifically her service patch. Also noted were the condition of said uniform, as well as her firearm?which caused him to wonder what exactly, a Deputy from Washington State was doing in the middle of their lobby, being grilled by his 2nd.

Well it didn?t take long, to get the answer to that.

?Interview?? he said softly, as he then recalled the last interview Kerri held in the lobby, which went a little something along the lines of---

?Oooooooooh! You mean T-Bone! Or was that Angus? Filet? Whopper? I can't remember all the names I gave him, but yeah-- the horney bull!?

Case in point, Kerri lifted her hands and gave herself horns to show the effect. She might have even 'moo'd' , but that little portion of this talk is a point that is sorely up for debate...

Righting herself, the Captain looked Ja'spar over again. Those emerald orbs of hers narrowing that much more, ?So he sentcha here to hook up with us by talking to Bri, yeah? Guess we can arrange that, if Bri were here that is. He's not due back for a few days. So ya gots me here, tall-striped-and furry! Not that I'm complainin'!?

Kerri then hopped off her box and moved around the desk with authoritah, as she began to take in the Khajiit at a much closer rate. Various 'Hmms' and 'Yes's' came from the Mithra as she nodded to herself.

?Alright, ladies and gents! I have made a decision! Smalls, my official drum roll please!?

And just like that, somehow-- someway-- Smalls did in fact produce a small pair of what looked to be bongo drums, as if out of thin air no less... Then he began to beat the drums, loudly.

?Smalls!?

The drums ceased. ?Ma'am...??

?I want the soft anticipating drum roll, nubcakes!?

?My bad, Ma'am!?

?Yes, it is- but momma loves you. So play on playa.?

And what do ya know? He did just that.

So the drums rolled softly, as Kerri paced in front of the Khajiit.

Shaking the memory aside, Brian stood there as business as usual went about the Inn. An occasional salute sent his way, as he nodded back respectfully in each incident. Hopes reply, caused him to chuckle a bit. He figured she?d learn ?PDQ? that assumptions like that were to quickly be forgotten, and if not could lead to a great deal of harm. Then she spoke once more, and before Kerri could reply, he addressed the situation.

?Nothing is ever normal here, Deputy. The day we become a normal outfit, is the day we hang our badges up. Those three we just brought in, were part of a group which likes to use children as living mules to funnel dangerous drugs in and out of the city, giving them any hint as to who brought them in, would be detrimental to our work here. Personally, I?d have just have put a bullet in their $%#--- but that too would be detrimental in our work.?

He moved closer to the pair, offering a nod to Kerri, ?Captain.?

Kerri saluted with that fangy grin he knew all too well, ?Cap?n.?

Blue eyes settled on Hope once more, as he offered a smile. ?Welcome to the 27th, I?m Captain Brian Ravenlock. How can we help a fellow ?LEO? from Earth, today??

Hope Jubal

Date: 2015-02-08 02:42 EST
Hope regarded Brian. He seemed the cut and dress of a captain that liked getting his hands dirty. This was a good sign to her that everyone pulled weight at this precinct. She gave him a small nod.

"Kids for mules? I guess depravity hits all forms of reality. Hope Jubal, former deputy of Clover Rock, Washington. I am hoping to square up a job here with your precinct. Somehow I get the feeling I'm not getting back to my old post." A note of regret in her tone.

"I am also deducing that most of my training is out the window with this place. I'm still trying to grok how the hell I went from a possible DVC (Domestic Violence Call) at a bar to stepping into a sci-fi bar in some space port. So far, I know I'm in one hell of a large city and that what I used to classify as off duty relaxation is now real." She just shook her head in disbelief.

"Other than that, I've been talking with Kerri here about employment. Though the questions are a bit odd and broad on topic. Surprised she hasn't asked me what my sign is, fave color or what my horoscope was for the day." Hope chuckled softly.

Brian Ravenlock

Date: 2015-02-09 20:53 EST
Brian listened carefully to what Hope had to say, those eyes of his continued to take in the woman with an assured scrutiny, letting her words settled in a bit, before he turned to Kerri. ?Take these to my office? Please and Thanks!?

Before Kerri was able to even register what he had said, Brian let fly with that duffle bag, which struck her dead center of her chest with a distinctive 'Thud!', which in turn caused quite the 'WTF' expression to take hold. ?Hey, man!?

The tactical vest followed, landing somewhat upside Kerri's head. ?Oh this is... Really, bro? This is how the hell you're gonna do me, here? Man, you are SO lucky, man, cause one of deez days, Ravenlock... POW straight to the moon, baby!?

?Ker, if you do that to me, how can I grill tonight for dinner, here no less?? The statement was one of those matter of fact ones, yet carried a personal tone to it.

?Huh? Grilling? Like steak n' junk?? The Mithra's emeralds were fixated on him, as her hand lifted the vest, settling it on the bag. ?None of that cheap stuff right? I mean grilling like you do for Jen at the house, bro??

?None of the cheap stuff, Ker.?

?Promise, yo??

?I promise... yo.?

Well that seemed to do the trick alright, cause that rather vexed look that was plastered across the Mithra's face was quickly replaced by a fangy grin, ?Ah this guy! I mean, THIS GUY here! You, man... You get me! See there Hope, he gets it, man! This guy!?

Whipping around, Ker gave a 'toodles' styled wave and padded off down the hall, ?Cap'ns grillin' bitches, none of the cheap junk either! BAM! How many of you kids are gonna stay late now, huh??

All he could do was watch, while shaking his head softly. ?She's a handful, alright.?

Then another officer approached, offering Brian a file, which was taken in hand, glanced at and returned. ?That'll work, have the Sergeant go on and sign the 'A-Forms', so we can transport them. Make sure we don't exceed the six hour mark, we don't need any more hassle.?

A sharp salute was the response as the young man took off down the main hall, leaving Hope and Brian there, among the business as usual.

?So Deputy, you came from Earth and ended up in a Space Port? I'm guessing, Stars End, possibly? I know there are some others, but they tend to get the most-- arrivals, so to speak. By that I mean, transplants from Earth. Also, if I may-- do you recall what year it was, before you were transplanted??

Then he caught himself, ?Wait-- let's back it up a bit. First off, welcome to Rhy'Din... The awe should wear off in time and don't give up any hope of returning to where you came from, because there are others who come and go from various places, all the time here. So you may very well find your way back, alright??

?Now that aside, let's touch on Kerri's line of questioning. While broad and way outta left field, Kerri doesn't play around when it comes to the work. She's as sharp as they come, and has a feeling on people that I couldn't even begin to understand, despite the fact that she and I have been together for as long as I can remember. Believe me, if she asked you something, there is a legit reason for it-- make no mistake about that. She's a special one, alright... I know I wouldn't be here, nor would my own family had it not been for her on more than one occasion...?

He quieted a moment, almost as if he'd been reflecting on something.

?I'll tell you this--- she has to like you, cause if she didn't you'd have been pounding sand by now, Deputy.?

He threw a side glance to that fichus once more and there she was, those emeralds peeking through the foliage. Another shake of head, ?I did say special, right??

?Um, sorry there, Deputy. Well, you're looking for something to do, we can help with that. It isn't glorious and the hours can be a pain in the $%# , but we take care of things together, and we look out for one another. Not to mention the paychecks don't bounce, and if you really want to learn about this place first hand, I can't imagine a better place than here. So if you're game, we can play ball.?

Was that a thumbs up from the fichus?

?Wait a sec, do you have a place to stay? Or better yet, where have you been staying till now??

At that time, a very Asian look woman was strolling her way on into the Precinct not looking very happy at the young officer that was following in her wake. They both were in the same black t-shirts and BDUs of the other Tactical members but the packs were very much different. Different in that they were sporting defibrillators and other such devices.

"My Bike is off limits, Probie. No one touches my Viper without getting their hand taken off." Ohhh, someone was no happy indeed. She's finally got something of hers and after the jackholes she's associated with... Hence why she doesn't watch Late Night television anymore.

The Asian woman had her black hair pulled back into a baseball style cap, also in black, with the Letters EMS on the front. And she came right into the Mithra targeted, flying duffle bag and Tac Vest.

She leaned against the desk after dismissing the EMT and listened a bit. New Recruit having felt the brunt of Momma Cat. Rite of Passage around this place.

Hope should have reacted to the flagrant abuse of a fellow officer but it would seem the woman was learning quickly to take things in stride in the realm. It was obvious Kerri and Brian had a good, if not rough camaraderie. A small smirk touched her lips watching the interaction a moment and seeing Kerri react to the proclamation of steaks. Questions being directed to her again, she gave Brian her full attention.

"I wouldn't say Kerri is a handful. A bit much maybe for someone new but I'm no worse for it." She gave Brian a grin finally. "I could care less how boring or grueling the work is. I wouldn't have lasted long in Clover Rock if I didn't like being a beat cop. As for the year, it was 2015 unless I've suddenly gained or lost years now. Please tell me I'm not somehow stuck in 600's, Brian. It only works for movies and videogames."

Hope did give the arriving EMT a nod, a courtesy she learned from Sheriff Rimen. A small thought of wonder drifted on her face. Always thank the EMT's and the Coroners, Jubal. 'Cause one day they'll be there when you need them, patching you up, by your side scraping up your friend or helping you track down fowl play on a loved one. Some have a bit of gallows humor but it's a lot like our gig. A soul has to break the monotony that crushes down on it day after day.

Hope found herself staring at Brian blankly a moment once the memory slipped away. She blinked and chided herself for drifting off in thought. The guy was asking her serious questions and she was off day dreaming; which wasn't too hard to do having skipped several meals this week.

"Well if I have made a good impression on Kerri, then I am quite happy to be of service and I am more than happy to play ball Brian. As to where I've been staying. Well. To put it mildly, I've had a real good look at the architecture of many bridges and alleys in this town." Her possible way of saying she'd been out on the streets sleeping when not making sense of the new world.

"You know, if I am hired, I can start calling you both Sir and Mam." She flashed Brian what was left of her humor that hunger hadn't gnawed on.

Raye arrived, as Brian turned to offer a nod to the EMT Supervisor, ?Havin? fun with the kids there, Doc??

Hope?s statement in regards to Kerri, the hours and year she last recalled was heard quickly, as he turned to face the Deputy once more, offering a nod. ?Oh, it?s anything but boring here, Deputy. Doc over there can attest to that, she?s the head of our EMS Division, Regular and Tactical. Doc, this is Deputy Hope Jubal, Earth 2015, newly arrived and wanting to work. An on that note, it is most assuredly not the 600?s here. Truth be told, you can get most of what you?ve had on Earth right here in Rhy?Din too. We even have vintage hobby stores and gaming ones too, antique halls as well, all from Earth. Course, you can get off world items as well, but we don?t want blow your mind so suddenly?it takes some getting used to---?

He paused a moment, seeing she was lost in thought, and honestly, how could he blame her? After all, while her story is like many others, when it comes to this place, it still was her story and most assuredly had to have affected her to some degree, which was perfectly in the norm.

He took in the rest of what she had said, nodding a bit to himself as he replied.

?Alright, Depu?Hope. It?s time we fix that situation of yours, yeah??

Brian waved Raye over, and Kerri as well. ?No need for ?Sirs? and ?Mams?, unless that?s what you really want. We run a bit casual around these parts, which was made more than evident due to Kerri?s creative interview process.?

?Guilty, Steak-Monger!? said the Self-Proclaimed Queen of Mithra Mayhem, ?So this means, I got me a new kid??

?If she wants the gig, so let?s get her set up with ?? Brian looked to Hope, offering a hand out. ?If you want this gig, you got it. We?ll get you set up with accommodations here at the house, until you get out there on your own and what not. Raye?ll get you set up with a Medical Eval, Kerri?ll get you some clothing and gear. Then we?ll get you to your quarters, where you can rest up an take care of things.?

Kerri fire off another fangy grin, ?I?ll get her some snackage too, till we fire up that grill.?

Brian nodded to Kerri and then looked back to Hope, ?That?ll work. Also we?ll get your ?FTO? assigned and all the other fun stuff, but we?ll deal with that tomorrow. Today, we?ll do what we talked about and then at 1800 we do dinner outside the ?Sally-Port? at the rear. Kerri?ll make sure you?re there?if that?s all okay with you, Hope??

Hope Jubal

Date: 2015-02-10 15:25 EST
Hope listened to what Brian said and nodded a head to greet Raye also called Doc, she noted quickly.

"The gig sounds great so do the arrangements." She offered out a hand for a shake to Brian, Kerri and Raye.

The thought of food, sleep and preferably a shower first had her thinking life may get better for her. She lost one family to gain another. Even trade she supposed in her books.

"I can't wait to get started with you all, Brian. Looking forward to working with Kerri and Raye as well. You can call me Hope or Jubal. The only other call name I've had assigned to me by Sheriff Rimen was 'Kitten'. Mostly due to anyone that mistook me for my size being an easy target getting a good face full of trouble." She grinned.
