The conversation down the hall was hard to not take notice of, especially since Brian had been yelling the whole time.

Down the hall the Watch Captain came, cut off in mid rant by the sight of his nephew and companion. "Oh, well damn it's that time, yeah? Let's get you two in here."

Brian waved off the Desk Officer with a smile, "They're good, I'll take them from here. Also if you can, radio Kerri and have her '05' when she gets a chance, it's reference 'Juliet Mike'."

A snapped salute came from the Duty Officer, "Copy that, Sir!"

Returning a two fingered salute, Brian flashed a smile to Noah and whom he believed to be Dante, while opening the half gate to the hallway. "Come on in, gents. Let's head to my office and talk shop."

He didn?t need need Noah?s elbow to see Lord Ravenlock saw them and usher to them closer. as Noah had move and greeted him.

A smile when Noah had introduced him to the older man. A hand came out to shake Brian?s hand. Noah thinks alot of Brian. He glad his best friend had an older man to looked up to.

Dante had lot of talents. Being a listener and watcher is one of them. ?Relax, Noah.? He greeted his friend cooly. ?Thanks for meeting us, Lord Ravenlock. I know Noah and myself is looking forward to this.?

?The Booth is bringing in more costumers than I can keep up with.? Noah watched his uncle and best friend.

Small difference between Noah and Dante. Noah is more musclar due to his work in shipyard and Dante is a little taller and leaner. He moves to sit down, hearing his uncle talked to Dante.

He leaned back and look around the office with a curousity. and when Kerri bust through the door like she owns it.

One small thing about being an observant person--- never assume ever--- that you are the only one doing the watching, or more so--- that no one else is ever watching you, or even the more so--- that no one has done their homework before properly meeting someone.

Instantly the self-proclaimed Queen of Mithra Mayhem / Watch Captain came to a halt, realizing what happened as Dante?s reply had finally registered. A look of ?oh ^&%$? took hold of her, as those feline ears pricked in interest as she settled up against a nearby desk, offering Noah a waggle of fingers to boot.

?This oughta be good, yo,? said Kerri in a most sing song voice.

Brian cleared his throat a bit in a bid to cut Kerri short, the message was received loud and clear as Kerri threw a two fingered salute Brian?s way.

Blue eyes settled upon Noah, as Brian nodded to his nephew in turn. ?Now that?s some good news there, Noah. I had no doubt about you doing well and I?m glad to see all of your hard work pay off.?

And then his gaze shifted to Dante, ?So Noah here hired you as a delivery person? I hadn?t realized that Apprentice-Captains had that much free time, especially with such a responsibility on the horizon, Mister Keltar? So the Swordsman is a fast ship that has been shipping goods ?mostly? and you are to be the next Captain?you work also as a delivery boy and are interested in the Watch as well.?

A faint smile formed on Brian?s face, ?I?m glad you asked what else I?d like to know.? That being said, Brian continued.

?First off, while you ?mostly? ship goods, what else do you ?not so mostly? ship? Also, are you a mercantile vessel? Or perhaps a Privateer, maybe a Freebooter? Your ship, is it a Brigantine or maybe a Fluyt, a Merchantman or a Indiaman? Maybe something smaller? Also, your home port?where is your vessel registered at, if I may.?

As a soon to be Captain, you should understand that I?d be remiss in my duties, if I didn?t ask such questions and more so?if I hadn?t done any checking on you, especially given the sensitive nature of the work my particular division here undertakes on a daily basis.
