Walk along the Market District of Rhydin and take a turn on Alchemy Lane and you'll find several shops of every size and shape imaginable. One shop stands out from the rest of the shops on the lane, a beautiful marvel of rose tinted glass panes, old copper and silver worked framing and two silver spires rising from the glass roof. Some may think this shop is very fragile and the idea of stepping inside may shatter the whole structure. Upon a closer glance for the curious the glass is quite thick, flawlessly made and melded with the copper and silver framing making it quite sturdy. Magic hums through the glass building with a taste and feel of protective warding to keep the building safe from hazards and the public safe from any alchemical disasters.

What really draws the attention of shoppers is what is seen inside the shop. Upon entering the shop through a glass door frosted with seasonal themes that change with the seasons, you will hear grinding and tapping of a mortar and pestle and the clink of glass bottles from the door chime. Customers will find themselves with display cases of every size and shape arranged showing a dazzling variety of glass vials, bottles, tubes and pots holding a myriad of unknown potions and tinctures in every hue of color crisply labeled. Book cases with sliding glass doors house magic tomes of every arcane discipline and alchemical authority. Several more display cases display magical artifacts, rings, scrolls and more to entice the arcane practitioner to come on in for a look. A neat little sign on each display case tells the customers that what you see is just the tip of the ice berg. Please ask if you don't see what you want.

The floors of the shop are rich mahogany parquet with several hand woven rugs from various different realms that Ammy has collected during her 400 years of travel. Tucked away in a side room off to the right of the display room is a reading and waiting area with comfortable couches, chairs and a magical fire to keep customers or visitors cozy. Just behind the counter is a cool gray tinted glass room. Within the glass room resides the alchemy laboratory and arcane spell work table where customers can watch the master artisan, Ammy L. Spiritor, craft their orders themselves with exacting care and a bit of magical flare. The glass laboratory has no apparent entry except to those allowed to work in it, by which the door will appear. The same holds true for accessing the twin spires of her shop or opening the warding on the stairs leading down to her personal laboratory below the shop.

Customers may run into her staff of apprentices: a Lupinossai teen boy, Lupes Tol, helping Ammy with the crafting or taking order from clients; a very inspired Lupinossai teen girl, Lassie Steele, that is close to looking like an Anthro Collie may be seen working with Ammy; the very talented adopted daughter of Ammy, Rawsha Pojoris as she hones her skills and earns some extra crowns; or a chance meeting with Emuna, Ammy's business partner, the former Assassin of Lupinoss, an Anthro Snow Leopard.

The Alchemist's Fire is always looking for help, and is an equal opportunity employment shop. All races are welcomed for business and work. In addition a little survey box on all of the counters are available for customers to leave comments and suggestions on anything they feel is important for Ammy to know.

As a measure of safety and security for all of our valued customers and staff, the whole shop and all three levels are master warded against all possible magical disasters as well as most natural disasters. Some things can still happen, but an explosion wiping out the shop or any part of it and harming others will not be one of those scenarios. Another measure of safety to help keep the costs down on all of our fine wares is the use of Weeping Angel Statues through the shop. They have been modified by Ammy Spiritor herself and only activate when someone is in the shop harboring an intent to either harm or steal. The will not kill, but they will teleport all violators to the Rhydin Watches front lobby.
