Welcome everyone who has come here to look at my shop. I feel really nervous in a whole new way. It's taken four years for me to get Ammy into a position to finally have a shop of her own that will run and work and be a magical atmosphere of fun and enchantment. I do hope you all will enjoy your time here.

Let me lay a few things down real quick:
1. Don't panic and always have your towel by your side.
2. The Alchemist's Fire is a non-combat zone, take the fighting to the streets.
3. Anyone may start up an SL thread in the Alchemist's Fire if it is a SL related to the shop, something going on with it, an item being made, or interacting with the primary characters of the shop.
4. I am not taking sides, creating races or making this a safe haven to collect members. Just a nice shop and a general stomping ground.
5. Just have fun, remember the primary rules of RDI's live chat and posting policies, and enjoy what is offered.

Now that that is over with, welcome to the shop. Come on in, and feel free to chat about anything in the OCC thread here.

Has anyone read any good books lately? Or seen any good movies? I've been so busy my new books have collected dust and I have lost touch with what movies are playing.

Hmm, well I saw The Hobbit, got it on DVD and still love it despite what others may think of it! Iron man 3 is here in a couple of days and looks awesome as usual (will just watch for Downey though! :D)

And booooks, I've like re-read all the Walking Dead comics I have so far, definitely a series worth checking out. :) And World War Z is a fantastical book too!

Ammy Spiritor

Date: 2013-04-24 14:57 EST
I've seen the Walking Dead TV series on AMC and Netflix. Haven't had a chance to pick up the comics yets on it. I know Iron Man 3, Star Trek: Darkness Rising, and Despciable Me 2 are on my radar to watch! Now if I can just find time in my busy schedule to actually glue my rump down in front of the xbox and play Bio Shock Infinite. So much dust on the box now. Lol.

Crowe Thorne

Date: 2013-04-24 17:27 EST
I hear the new Bioshock is one of the best so far, a spectacuat game Ammy! :D And get the comics, either for a kindle on digital (cheaper) or that sweet, sexy and glossy comic book lol. Hey, is it cool Crowe comes visit Ammy in her store?

Ammy Spiritor

The Alchemist's Fire is open to everyone Crowe. Come on over and visit.

I finally got to see Iron Man 3! Man it's been a while since I've been to a movie theater. I need to go more often. The movie was great. No spoilers!

This past week has been rather rough on me. I am trying to stay engaged and creative with Rhydin but several things keep hammering me down hard. Allergy season is robbing me of sleep, work life has gone nuts and I've seen several beloved co-workers lost to lay-offs, and one of my nieces in Oklahoma just had her world trampled as her fiance left her for another woman.

In short, I am feeling a bit chewed on this week in real life. Ah well, with a sip of brew, a flick of wrist, a twitch of fingers and a dip into the arcane one can only hope the next day will be better.

Things are improving this week. Thankfully.

Though I have had an interesting thought.

If an alchemist combined a Tribble with a Twinkie, what would the results be?

S'arallo

Date: 2013-05-15 16:28 EST
A combined Tribble and Twinkie? It's either a Twibble, a Trinkie or somehow creates an intense ripple through the cosmos fracturing the boundaries between imagination and reality and somehow the result will end with a Stormtrooper losing his job in a galaxy far far away as well as having run-on sentences appear out of nowhere but other than that I'm not sure what a combined Tribble and Twinkie would be.

Ammy Spiritor

Date: 2013-05-15 17:24 EST
I asked a fellow colleague at work about this proposed Twinky/Tribble alchemy madness the other day. The best he could come up with is a fast, reproducing, renewable source of fuzzy, protein based Twinkies that sing.

I do apologize for the delays in posting anything response wise or new material wise in the shop lately. Life has been a bit rough as I search for new work after being laid off.

However this has not stopped my creative spirit, just postponed it a little. I am hoping everyone who has stopped by to read the various story lines in the Alchemist's Fire are finding them at least entertaining.

Now then, to quote a famous saying, "The show must go on!" See you all around the shop!

Slow going still on the job hunt.

I am curious though. Is anyone fascinated by the Twibble Report thread I am doing? Would you all like to see more personal sl's of that kind of humorous research with Ammy in them?

Oh and I got to rent the Life of Pi. So blown away by the visuals and story! Happy dance. Rise of the Guardians was fun too and of course I loved the newest Die Hard Sequel in Russia.

(A simple collection of thoughts on today's holiday in the United States of America.)

The 4th of July, time of fireworks, family reunions, eating too much again and drinking. That's kind of the stereotypical face of the holiday presented to many. The hidden face of this holiday could be the remembrance of winning a countries freedom from a king that ruled in England. Perhaps a face of remembrance of fallen comrades or honoring the people fighting still, laying lives on the lines and listening to explosions that are far too real and far to close for comfort. Maybe this holiday wears another face often viewed by many who are calling our nation home and happy to have found a new home to get away from their histories of darkness.

To all of these faces of the 4th of July, fireworks and the sounds of explosions mean many things: Joy, delight, brilliant awe in the night sky, a 21 gun salute saying a final farewell, a sign that you got lucky and get to fight one more day for your country, the evocation of noise to drive off discord and evil spirits.

I hope that you all enjoy the 4th of July and all the faces the holiday can wear.

This alchemist finally landed another job. It's not anything special or cool like the CAD jobs I've done or the veterinary work, but it does involve kitchen alchemy. Hehe. Line cook for our local gas station cafe. This is why I've been a bit non-existent on RDI lately.

So long as your making money, and your happy, thats all that matters :)

Ammy Spiritor

Yes. Money and paying bills will make anything almost bearable. In other news, I am a year older today! :: Does a little jig :: Just have to survive a day of making food and serving it.

Having to type on RDI using a PS3 sure is strange. Seems a couple Jawas came sneaking around and some needed components to my computer are not here and has rendered it inoperable for a few days or so. Darn them jawas and their inconvenience!

Although, I do wonder if they fear the Twibbles Ammy has been making.

Congratulations on 200 posts for The Alchemist's Fire!

Humbly bows to Fiona and Bristle Crios.

Thank you all for the support and encouragement. It means a lot to this weary soul.

As to the Twibbles/Jawas. Jawas would be very afraid of Twibbles. They seem to eat anything. Anything!

Destinations. Some say that is the whole goal of a path travel. Companions. Some say that is the life of the path well traveled. Goals. A collective will of desire that started the whole path to a destination. Experiences. What some may say is learned, viewed, experienced and imbibed by the traveler. Time. Wibbly, wobbly, timey whimey as one doctor may say, or completely relative or irrelevant to what is being experienced. Relativity. Some do not know how to understand this concept while others study for their life to revel in knowledge as a simple example: 1 hour after you survive a bombing, your day feels like forever, the moment you hold that bomb, your life feels like its over in seconds.

What has this all be said for? When traveling through life, my fellow being, nothing will remain of any venture without all of this parts unified and together. For without a single one, life, the journey of it through this gaseous black expanse once sparked into creation by a power we still do not understand, will mean nothing.

Blink of an eye, hand full of dirt, shells of bone and flesh, locked deep in earth. Long after we are all gone and another sentient race treads upon their path, unless we consider all of the parts of a journey, leave mile markers that last, the human destination will be just dust locked in the past.

P.S. Migraines unlock a whole new reality when one simply sits, listens, accepts the pain and embraces the wisdom from them. It's a cosmic firecracker within the living mind.

*sneaks in to pounce the one called Ammy and puts her hair in pigtails then uses an attack spell to make her fur all pink, then scoots off to the side acting innocent though she grins*

There, now you got something to take your mind off all your other troubles.

You would think that taking the sum of a Deluxe Cheeseburger with glorious Bacon added to it and dividing it by the coefficient of cold Root Beer and multiplying by the square root of a French Fry that the meaning of life would be found. It just leads to an awareness that you really should get Onion Rings, for one golden ring rules them all!

But what do you bind in the darkness with onion rings? *this reindeer is confused*

Mirius Spiritor

Date: 2013-08-28 17:20 EST
I would say a squeegee. Because onion rings with a squeegee is just obviously far more powerful than anything in existence. ((I have no clue what I'm talking about. ))

Though to be honest. One thing I've always wondered is this: if lightning appears to hate phone-lines and things. I wonder what would happen if you had it Rhy'Din. Would that mean instead of lightning attacking your house you may just get a Cthulu knocking on your door or even an army of Cylons?

Ammy Spiritor

Date: 2013-09-01 13:14 EST
First off, Happy Labor Day Weekend to all!

Now then. You bind all the possible vegetables lurking in the darkness that are waiting to assassinate your onion ring with Ranch, Tartar or the ultimate evil, BBQ sauce!

As to Mirius' noggin popping question, to me its a toss up between Cylons, Daliks, or Cybermen. Whichever ones hate human transmissions the most.

Just a small update. I am out of a job once more. Posting might pick up again as well as art while looking for more work.

Now here's an odd thought, what would happen if you ended up at a bar at the end of time and found in the parking lot: The Tardis, The Delorian Time Machine, and the Epoch from Chrono Trigger all parked there?

As another random thought, since I love messing with timelines and what if's: The Earth, by 1970, under a Tokugawa ruling, with Japan owning all of Europe, half of China, the Philippines, and all the way up to the Mississippi river in the United States. Throw into that Canada being up for grabs to India and what's left of the United States is run by President Bruce Willis?

Another update. I'll be meeting with someone today about a huge set of paying commissions for my art talents. I'll be illustrating a children's story book with at least 15 illustrations and doing album art for 5-8 music albums. I hope it will go well. Could use the finances for bills.

In other news, our water line to the house has a major leak and has flooded some of my room. So for the last few days and still on going, I am moving all of my things into my new room, the former guest room. So, lots of things are in a tumble and mess as I am sorting things out. So if I am slow on posting things, this is why.

Have a wonderful day, all of you out there.

Okay, so due to a fight happening in the Ebony Knight SL taking place around Ammy's shop with the knight personally attacking Ammy, I allowed the lower level of her shop to be destroyed. The building is all fixed and restored by magic, but this means I will be pulling most of her inventory except for items I have descriptions for and having her rebuild her entire inventory.

Why do I say this? Well, now's your time to help me make this shop feel more inviting to everyone and offer items everyone would want to see and use. Drop me a line or chat with me in IM's or PM's.

Waves to all.

Some of you may be wondering where Ammy and the Lupinossai I usually play have vanished over the week? Well we are trying to wrap up one of the most complicated rp event in the Ebony Knight SL on Skype. It is taking a while as much is going on with many characters. Once that is over, they'll be back sometime. There will be a finale rp for those who are Ammy's allies. I'm saving the full destruction of the Knight's City for you guys. Wink.

On other news, posting has been slow due to trying to finish the Ebony Knight SL. Also, starting Monday I am working again as a private contractor for a former boss. So I may be scarce for a month or so.

On the store front I am slowly working at compiling and typing up her new items list from the suggestions received and from looking about a few stores in real life. She has quite the little list of helpers! I know most of the things going on at the store are just NPC but it all helps and I hope sometime to really get more people visiting and enjoy fun rp there.

Please drop hints or suggestions to help make your trip to the Alchemist's Fire pleasurable.

Since I will be working Monday, and most likely have no time to write anything here then, I'll write it now.

I raise a hand and salute my brother, Timothy Walley, my father, Wany Walley and my uncle, Timothy J. Walley for all serving in the armed forces. U.S. Army for my brother, U.S. Marine Corps. for my father, and the U.S. Air Force for my uncle.

I offer a toast and a few words to those I know who are not alive anymore. : To you who have come together, laid aside your petty hate, your differences, you civil status and upbringing to band together and fight for the liberty and freedom of the world. I salute and honor your memories, fallen souls on the battle or in the comfort of home resting from the valor you've earned, slipping into eternal peace. Thank you for all you've done.

This toast is for my grandfathers, Francis Hopkins and Grandpa Walley (I cannot remember his first name and it saddens me.), Francis Hopkins was U.S. Navy, Grandpa Walley was U.S. Marine Corps.

I raise a salute to all the others I know that are either active in the Armed Services or no longer active. I wish it could be truly Happy Veterans Day, but I know for many it will be truly: Happy I Survived Combat Day and Memorials for lost friends and family.

Happy holidays to everyone. Hope you all are doing well. Sorry if I've been a ghost in the role play department. Private Contract Work has my tail busy for two more weeks.

I am happy to announce Ammy and her family is no longer dealing with all of the Ebony Knight drama. It was a great SL but it got extended a bit too much.

So what's on the horizon you may as for Ammy and her family? Not a whole lot as far as high action, though who knows for Lene as she is now getting into helping the Sisters of Scathachian. I am getting closer to putting the shops new inventory list together, so just a little more patience on that front guys. Ammy will be going puppy in December to get back a childhood she never had and then sometime in January or February she'll be governor of Den City again.

Lot's will be happening around her but at a normal level and hopefully less violence and needs for killing.

My plans for the 12 days I am off from work, well went out the window when real life caught up and people wanted to reconnect over the holidays. Hopefully during 2014 everything is caught up and running smoothly again.

Sorry for any slowness or deadness in posts or live rp. RL situations have gotten a bit chaotic. My contract with work was not extended and the 28th of February is my last day work. So the week has been a nasty ball of stress. The past three weeks prior have been filled with migraines from all the crazy weather going on up here in Washington State.

That said. I am hoping things will pick up again and be better in March for everything.

More posts will be done in the Alchemist's Fire. Right now, my new job as Warehouse Clerk is quite physically demanding and often leaves me wiped out after a shift. So most of my posting waits till my days off and vies for attention with the rest of the things needing to be done. At least I am employed once again and it's a decent job with low stress.
