It had been about three months since Leroy and Ammy had struck a deal to stock Anniston Gardens' "Wolf's Bite" rye whiskey at the Alchemist's Fire. The reindeer had promised for some time to give the Lupinossai a tour of his distillery, but various events conspired to delay the visit until now.

Leroy pulled his 1995 green Ford F-150 up to the side of the Alchemist's Fire. He had a delivery of Wolf's Bite to make (both special summer edition and regular style bottles), so he loaded up his hand truck with boxes with red and green stripes on them and opened the door of the shop, backing into the shop with the hand truck.

Ammy's ears perked as she heard the familiar rumble of Leroy's F-150 pulling up for the usual deliveries. Stepping through the mage glass wall of her lab, she gave Lene a smile. Her daughter was updating the account book and working on organizing the Alchemist's Fire's vast and assorted inventory. Stopping by counter where complimentary sugar cookies were out for free, she snagged a cookie to nibble as she saw Leroy roll in todays delivery.

"Hiya Lee. How's your day going at the destillery?" She asked Leroy and noticed she had some black ash on her nose. An easy flick of stone fingers flicked away the signs of her latest experiment.

Leroy grinned as he saw Ammy. He didn't get to see her every time he made a delivery, as he would sometimes deal with Myrlene or Lassie, but the sight of the auburn-haired Lupinossai made him happier. "Howdy, Miss Ammy!" (Yep, his Southernness required that he address any lady as "Miss".) "Ah think th' day's goin' well. Shame th' summer's endin' soon, though - Ah kinda like th' special edition bottles."

It was then that he got to the real reason he had come that day. He knew that the stock that was already there could last for another couple days without being refilled but it wouldn't be like him to come to the shop and not bring a shipment with him. "Ah got th' distillery nice an' clean so y'all can come an' visit. Ah think y'all would like t' see how Wolf's Bite is made, jest as soon as we git th' shelves all stocked."

Ammy grinned and finished her cookie. "Sure thing Leroy. Bring that load back here to my lab and we'll stock up the reserve coolers."

Walking back towards the mage glass walls she stopped by some brand new refrigerators bought just to keep overstock of Wolf's Bite. Ammy would break open the boxes once they were brought open and stock up the fridges.

"Well perhaps a winter special, Leroy? Maybe tweak the recipe?" she offered helpfully to the moonshiner.

"I can't wait to see your still. I bet it's better than mah little store." Ammy said to Leroy.

Lene finished up the accounting, stocked a few items then came over to Ammy and Leroy. "Hi Leroy. Bring more of moms sexy bottles?" she giggled.

Leroy brought the load of bottles into the back where he was instructed to. He hadn't noticed the refrigerators before but he couldn't argue that they were needed with the amount of Wolf's Bite that was moving through this store.

Then he smiled to the alchemist. "Ah s'pose I kin make a winter special... an' Ah know jest th' look t' make it fly off th' shelves fer Christmas," he said with a devilish grin.

"Ah cain't wait t' git y'all t' th' distillery... it really is a piece o' work." He wasn't going to tell Ammy just yet how much influence he got from the big guy in the red suit when he set up Anniston Gardens Distillery, he was going to let her see for himself.

And that's when he noticed Myrlene walk back. "Howdy, Miss Lene! Er... well... Ah s'pose we kin call 'em sexy..." Oh, he knew Ammy was a looker, and could probably get away with posing in certain magazines. He also knew that the Lupinossai was extremely spoken for, and he wasn't about to push his luck in that department.

Ammy's ears perked hearing Leroy. "Make it more popular than the current summer special and the regular bottles? Lee... you aint gonna ask me to strip for this bottle are you?"

She was blushing under her fur and kept her head in the fridge as she stocked to hide the blush and cool down.

Lene's one ear flicked in amusement. "If I didn't know better, I think you find my mom attractive Leroy."

Lene gave Leroy a grin. Then went to help her mother stock more Wolf's Bite. Ammy scooted over some to let Lene in to help and she just chuckled hearing Lene.

"Lene, Leroy is purely professional. He just likes using a... uhm... good model that embodies the name Wolf's Bite?"

Lene gave Ammy a solid, steady gaze with her blue eyes. "Uh-huh, sure. Leroy is professional and getting you onto his bottles to make them all sexy looking. If you like that kind of professional you may as well start posing for the Helston mags I've seen." She gave a teasing grin to her mother.

"I... wou... but... now wait a minute..." Ammy's thoughts were jumbled now.

Was she that much of a looker?

He heard Ammy's concern first. "Naw... ain't naw way in hail Ah ever ask y'all t' strip, Miss Ammy. Wha' Ah have in mind is first an' foremost, decent." What he hadn't told Ammy yet is that he had quite a few outfits in mind, and he would pick the one that had the least clothing but was still something Ammy was comfortable with.

And then he heard Lene. "Miss Lene, Ah jest like t' use th' image o' th' person who inspires th' likker. It's kinda mah trademark. Ah cain't help tha' Miss Ammy seems t' sell a lot o' bottles." He did in fact find Ammy attractive but there was no way he was going to admit that to her daughter. He was a businessman, first and foremost, and he knew that every bottle of Wolf's Bite that was sold meant more money for Anniston Gardens, and more money for the Alchemist's Fire. Besides, the alchemist already had mates, and the last thing he needed was a love polygon.

Bottles of Wolf's Bite regular and summer special all back stocked, Ammy shooed Lene upfront. "Fetch me the figures for Leroy on his stock and how much I owe him. Alright?"

Lene just giggled and skipped off to the front counter getting things together for her mom. Ammy just rubbed her neck and her eyes feeling embarrassed a bit still. She waved Leroy to come up front for some iced tea and a cookie.

"Can't wait to see the still today. Lassie's been in the lab working on more potions for the class she took over for me. So she'll be minding the store today for me and Lene. Hope you don't mind two of us."

Lene pushed a page to Ammy as they walked up. "Here you go mom. Last two months two months we've sold 280 regular bottles of Wolf's Bite and 290 bottles of the summer edition. People sure do like you in that red bikini." Lene gave Ammy a wink. "As to how much we owe Leroy. Glad he brought his truck. Gonna take that big bed to haul out the silver crowns. Wish the realm had bigger denominations. Leroy is hauling out 142,500 silver crowns." she just whistled softly.

Ammy sighed. "That much? Hell that's gonna be heavy lifting for sure. Need a better way of wiring you your funds Leroy or I'm gonna lose my girly curves for rock hard muscles lifting all them coins." she laughed and fixed them all some iced tea and pushed over some molasses cookies with white frosting.

Leroy watched as Ammy and Lene stocked the Wolf's Bite in the cooler. He would have helped but under those circumstances, a third creature would just get in the way. It didn't stop him from admiring those curves that Ammy had, but he was careful not to get caught looking. He came up front when Ammy bade him come up for some iced tea - she definitely made the best iced tea he'd ever had in Rhy'Din.

He was unfazed by the thought of both Ammy and Lene coming to visit. "Ah kinda figured Ah'd have y'all both if y'all were both healthy. If Ah remember, when Ah'd asked y'all, Miss Lene was a bit injured."

And then he heard how much he had sold. He knew it was up there, but he couldn't believe how much it was. "Holy... Ah think Ah'm glad Ah put th' cover on th' truck today." To the idea of her lifting those coins he said, "Oh, naw... naw way Ah'd make y'all lift all those. Ah kin do it." At the very least, him straining to lift those coins might provide some eye candy for the two ladies.

Ammy had a distinct feeling she was being checked out but let it slide. Leroy was safe. "Oh we're both ready for the tour."

Hearing him mention lifting all that coin as well made her flinch some. That was a lot of weight lifting.

"Perhaps you could just lift what you want for now and after the tour, I set up a magic teleport sigil at your office and it can be transported to you magically. How does that sound Leroy?" Maybe Ammy wanted to see a muscular deer in action.

Lene finished up the books and then gave Ammy a long look of 'I'm watching you.'

"Ah s'pose tha'd work better than hauling all th' time, especially if th' likker keeps flyin'." Leroy could agree with Ammy's logic as it would cause less wear and tear on his body. Still, he figured he should at least take one bag, so he hefted up the largest bag he could find, carefully, and carried it off to his F-150, setting it in the cargo bed and snapping the cover back on. (Here is where he was thankful he had invested in both a Rhino liner for the truck bed and a snap-on cover for it.

He looked to Lene and Ammy as he opened the passenger doors of his truck so that the two Lupinossai could enter. He had cleaned out his truck especially for the occasion, as it was usually littered with various refuse.

Ammy did give a giggle watching Leroy haul the sack of silver crowns out. He was a nice looker, but that's where she left it. She ruffled Lene's red hair with a hand and walked out to the truck and got in.

"Wow, Lee... did you clean your truck out?" Ammy asked with a smile.

Lene would soon follow after making sure Lassie had things handled and got into the truck which was a feat being short.

"So this is what they call a truck? How the hell do you reach the pedals?" Lene asked after buckling in. Her feet dangled in the air as sat in the seat.

He looked to Miss Ammy. "Ah had t'... it was in no condition t' take th' two o' y'all down t' th' distillery otherwise. After all, th' last time was an emergency." He remembered when Amaretto had gotten Ammy drunk of Nagrah and he prayed he never had to deal with that witch again.

Then he looked over to Lene. "Ah s'pose if y'all were t' drive mah truck, Ah'd have t' get y'all some stilts." He realized that at six-foot-two, he towered over the diminutive Lene.

He got in behind the wheel of the car and said to Ammy and Lene, "Alright, buckle up, y'all..." He put the car in gear and drove off at a normal speed... at least until he got past the Rhy'Din city limits. Then he put the pedal to the metal and the truck soon hit triple digits on the speedometer.

Ammy just grinned hearing Leroy. "Yes, let's not repeat that night." she said.

So far it was a comfy ride through the city until Leroy punched the truck into triple, oh my god, digits. There was a hooping, yell of pure excitement rining in the cab of the truck, and it wasn't coming from Lene. Lene did look in surprise as Ammy hanging her head outside the window of the truck as the tore down the roads. "Hell yes! Faster Leroy!"

Lene just laughed and looked at what all Leroy was doing to drive a vehicle. It looked quite fun.

Leroy kept the pedal floored until the speedometer reached 140, 150, 160 miles per hour and just chuckled as the Lupe in the passenger seat was yelling her fool head off. Time to show Ammy and Lene just what this truck could do.

As he reached a clearing, he steered slightly to the left. Then he steered sharply to the right and pulled the handbrake, sending the back of the truck drifting at 160 miles per hour. He punched the accelerator at the apex of the turn and proceeded to do a proper 180 turn and immediately repeated the moves to make a perfect 180 the other direction to get back on course.

After a few miles, he steered straight for what looked like a construction barrier, and the barrier slid aside as the truck approached. He then slowed down to a stop just as he reached the distillery parking lot.

"Welp... here we are... Anniston Gardens Distillery."

When Leroy hit those two 180's at top speed, Ammy hung onto the handle inside the trucks cab. She was laughing the whole time.

Lene on the other hand was pressed hard into the seat or the seat belt depending on what point of the 180's they were at. She was doing her best not to get sick in Leroy's truck. Dragon flights and her own crazy maneuvers in the air was one thing, high speed turns on the ground just shouldn't happen.

Ammy noticed the clever way Leroy hid the entry to his distillery. Once they'd arrived and he had stopped the truck, Ammy would get out and stretch with a few wiggles to throw off the last bit of adrenaline from that fun ride.

Lene unbuckled herself and got out looking a bit wobbly. She leaned against the truck taking in deep breaths. She loved fun and thrill but ye gods, mom's friends were nuts.
