Is the group a secret or are they well known?
The Group is currently a secret, and is not known to anyone outside the Governor, Ministers and current members. The City guard has been made aware of a ?new group? taking shape and has been ordered to give access and authority to anyone brandishing Government issued Identification cards and clearance.
When are the Avengers going public?
We are planning on an initial, major storyline, to help the group ?go public? so that the Citizens are aware of its existence.
Are the members a secret?
The roster is a secret, and is only known as the members reveal themselves. However the true identities of the members are ?known? on a case-by-case basis. If you are unsure if a person?s identity is a secret please PM or IM the person you are inquiring about. Please be respectful and try not to use any form of ?psychic? methods to gain information, or OOC blending. We all want to play in a fun environment, so please respect that.
What are those badges for?
The badges go hand-in-hand with the ID cards as an official watch badge, signaling the Avengers as a special division of the Government. These badges may be hidden until needed to be shown, or may be worn outright.
What are the ID cards for?
Each Avenger has been given an Identification Card, which establishes them as a Government official, and can be displayed in such instances as investigations and during arrests.
Do the Avengers nullify the City Guard?
Not at all. If anything, the Avengers are an extension of the City Guard. Their main focus is fighting against enemies that are considered to be too dangerous for the average guardsman, or in events that could lead to major catastrophes.
How do the Avengers gather intelligence?
The Avengers use everything from good old fashioned police work, to undercover operations, and computer surveillance. The Avengers computer system, is interlinked to the computer at the Grayskull estate, where Wolvinator resides. It uses a series of networks, such as the Gossip Gangstar recording devices and the City Guard?s criminal database, to cross reference information.
Are the Avengers in constant contact with one another?
Yes. Each member is outfitted with a communication device to keep in contact with all of the other members. This device is embedded within their Identification Cards.
How are the Avengers Funded?
The Avengers are funded by carefully appropriated funds from the Power of Grayskull Pegasi Racing Stable and DeMuer exports. However, to avoid direct association, these businesses use organization fronts to fund the Avengers.
Are the Avengers still open for membership?
Currently the group is closed from membership due to the large support and request to be a part of the group. However, this may change in time. Please PM Wolvinator if you?d like to join for the most up-to-date information.
How can I play along?
Send Wolvinator a message or post on the OOC boards to inquire about play. We welcome a cooperative environment with interactive storylines.
