The invitation had been surprising to say the least. There had been a couple of incidents in the marketplace and Wanda had not hesitated to help. It was second nature to the witch and she felt a sense of purpose in doing such.
She loved the shop and Caelyn but she had not felt whole since coming here. She had been rationalizing it to mean that she missed the other half of her soul and she did. But looking back, she did not have a true sense of purpose.
The messenger had been able to find her easy enough. She had shooed Caelyn off to go rest. She knew the Seer was fighting through a migraine and those nightmares of hers. She read the invitation and a thrill had gone through her. She really did not think about it.
