-Deep in the recesses of a remote forest, a single figure sat within an oddly verdant cave, his eyes closed and his breaths slow. A visitor, if present, could look around and see that this part of the cave was filled with hanging plants. Some of these were easily identified as common household spider plants while others were of an unknown genus. Among these were several attached to the high, domed walls of this chamber, emiting enough light to equal or rival a 60 watt light bulb. Higher still was a hole at the top of the dome, covered almost totally by a vine-like plant. On occasion some poor forest creature would start to fall through the hole ... only to be torn apart and consumed by the plant, bones and all. A security system. The figure seemed to be listening to something, some voice that was not present within the cave. Slowly his eyes opened, revealing irises the color of pine needles. A frown crossed his muzzle as he rose, his 7'2" frame hunched over, making him seem smaller than he really was. Saying nothing, he began to walk tword the mouth of the cave stopping long enough to pick up a tall Elder tree branch that he used as a staff. As he drew closer to the mouth of the cave, passing by several side corridors that contained guest rooms, storage rooms, and a kitchen or two - all unused for so long they needed dusting - a large entrance area came into view. This area contained many pools of water, most with plants deep inside. One pool had a plant that filled the cave with fresh air. Another contained a plant that - somehow - altered the water to be breatheable through normal lungs. Surrounding the main entrance, tendrils of the same vine-like plant as the one that protected the inner sanctum dome shifted aside, letting him pass through into a dense fog that had rolled in as he approached.
At the same time in a distant land a dense fog rolled in close to another cave, one which housed a newly formed Lycan pack. Within this fog a form could just barely be seen, striding out of a wavering image of another cave. In seconds that wavering image was gone, leaving only that dense fog and the barely seen form within it. Whatever it was, its presence seemed to bring an odd feeling to the surrounding area: One of peace ... but one of danger as well.-
