-Deep in the recesses of a remote forest, a single figure sat within an oddly verdant cave, his eyes closed and his breaths slow. A visitor, if present, could look around and see that this part of the cave was filled with hanging plants. Some of these were easily identified as common household spider plants while others were of an unknown genus. Among these were several attached to the high, domed walls of this chamber, emiting enough light to equal or rival a 60 watt light bulb. Higher still was a hole at the top of the dome, covered almost totally by a vine-like plant. On occasion some poor forest creature would start to fall through the hole ... only to be torn apart and consumed by the plant, bones and all. A security system. The figure seemed to be listening to something, some voice that was not present within the cave. Slowly his eyes opened, revealing irises the color of pine needles. A frown crossed his muzzle as he rose, his 7'2" frame hunched over, making him seem smaller than he really was. Saying nothing, he began to walk tword the mouth of the cave stopping long enough to pick up a tall Elder tree branch that he used as a staff. As he drew closer to the mouth of the cave, passing by several side corridors that contained guest rooms, storage rooms, and a kitchen or two - all unused for so long they needed dusting - a large entrance area came into view. This area contained many pools of water, most with plants deep inside. One pool had a plant that filled the cave with fresh air. Another contained a plant that - somehow - altered the water to be breatheable through normal lungs. Surrounding the main entrance, tendrils of the same vine-like plant as the one that protected the inner sanctum dome shifted aside, letting him pass through into a dense fog that had rolled in as he approached.

At the same time in a distant land a dense fog rolled in close to another cave, one which housed a newly formed Lycan pack. Within this fog a form could just barely be seen, striding out of a wavering image of another cave. In seconds that wavering image was gone, leaving only that dense fog and the barely seen form within it. Whatever it was, its presence seemed to bring an odd feeling to the surrounding area: One of peace ... but one of danger as well.-

~A soft smile crossed his muzzle as he stepped forward a bit, his form a bit less obscured by the dense fog which was even now ever so slowly burning away from the heat of the day. This smile carried over into those pine green eyes of his and even into the rather gruff, guttoral and almost savage sounding voice of his.~

"I am a traveler of the worlds, miss and quite harmless to you and your friends. I sensed the presence of a new pack within the world, one whose members are quite diverse. It is my hope to aid you in whatever manner thou deem is required of me."

~Even now he still walked hunched over, his full height hidden in this manner. He knew there were those in the world that thought his kind were extinct. Most of them were in hiding as the more human species of the worlds tended to use anthropomorphs as slaves.~

"What be thy name young miss?"

?My name is Savannah.? she looks up at his great form. ?You are in the land of the Blood Moon Pack. Would you like Sanctuary?? She bites down, trying to the remember the night she was first bitten in Paris. It was a werewolf that has black fur and red eyes. She shivers from the night. He barely had left her alive.

"Well met M ...."

~He paused for just a moment, closing his eyes and almost seeming to be concentrating on something. 'Blast and confound it, I'm doing it again! People do not speak that way anymore you oaf.', he thought in that brief moment that his eyes were closed.~

"Sorry about that. It's a pleasure to meet you Savannah. If having me around isn't a burden on you, then Sanctuary sounds nice. I am not familiar with this part of the world. OH! Where are my manners? I am called Atra - 'Dark' if you prefer."

~He noted that she seemed to be remembering something a bit ... unpleasent to say the least. A slight frown crossed his muzzle then~

"Are you feeling well miss?"

She smiles at the old one. ?Of course.? she bowed to the old one. ?Welcome. I granted your request. Feel free to have any room that is not being used.?

Since the pack is so small. It would be good to use his skills. She breaths. The Alpha is never around so she is always in charge. She never thought the Dragonwolf will be tied down to a role she has to do. She wasn?t strong in her fighting. Kravan chose her to be his brains.
