::Reika snorted just thinking about what everyone was refering to her as. She mimicked the voices she heard say it. "THE FERAL ONE" . They spoke as if she couldn't hear, as if she wasn't lycan and just a wolf. How wrong they were. They didn't even know her.

She moped a little as she trotted down the cobblestoned hallways as she thought about the last couple days, since her arrival. She knew a couple of people she could call friends. She particulary liked Libby, though she really would never hurt Libby, in the beginning she wasn't so sure of her or anyone here.

Reika came to a windowless opening in the castle wall that gave such a wonderful view from way up high. As she stood up on her back paws and supported herself against the edge of the opening, she realized the view was magnificent, revealing the splendors of Twilight Island. The place was eerie as much as it was beautiful. Though where she came from, the beauty was found, it was nothing like here. Perhaps that was why her late brother insisted that she come here.

She thought back on how she reacted to the others when she met them at the bar area of the castle. How rude, and yes seemingly Feral she acted. Her insecurities were aplenty and her worries exceeded those even more.
Now there was only thing left to do, but she didn't know if it was what her brother wanted her to do. Perhaps her mission was already done, she had come here hadn't she?
This didn't settle well in the pit of her stomach, this wasn't right. There was more to this place and the reason for her brother to send her here, there had to be.
Reika pushed her front paws together and set her jowl on them looking out into the night, and let out a steaming sigh....
She wondered if she could figure out what he wanted.

She only hoped she didn't let her brother down by exacting revenge... but that would be perhaps another thought, for another night. This night was too beautiful, to peaceful to dwell anymore.
With that last thought, she hoped for peace in the next few days and vowed to be less, Feral. Although, she had to admit, she kinda liked being the Feral one. Her brother did say she was a Wild Child.

She lifted her head and leaned to the side as she set her front paws on the ground and curled up in a semi ball under the opening and closed her eyes to sleep.

Another night, another day.

As a few long days passed by, Reika soon became more familiar with more and more of the pack. She was starting to feel at home here.

She sat there looking at the sky, the multiple shades of nocturne blues were littered with brilliantly sparkling flecks in the sky, glittering stars. How a simple night here, seemed like heaven, so peaceful.

It was quite a stark difference compared to her nights in Malothorn where Rival Lycan clans threatened to come in the night and steal all newborns, rape and kill the women and slaughter the men. There was no safe night, no relaxing night and definately no peace, but at least she HAD family. She had bloodlines that ran deep, with living generations that fought off all the others and tried to keep peace. But all the good had to run out sooner or later. There was always evil lurking and waiting for the most opportune time.

Tonight she stayed in her human form. She realized she could think more clearly without her wolf instincts getting in the way. She was in her room now, still in her black satin and lace corset and the crimson velvet skirt.

She was currently sitting on the edge of window, the stone cold against her skin, making her feel well aware of her living body as it shivered in the cold of the night. She had her feet up and her knees tucked into her chest and her arms around her knees, holding her body together as if it were to spring apart if she didn't clutch it so tightly. She looked out to the snow covered ground and sighed. It was winter, but it seemed it was winter only a little bit ago, had the year gone by so quickly?

There was so much in her head right now that she just wanted to get answers for everything. She was now a member of the Blood Moon Pack. She now had another family. But why didn't she feel like family to anyone? She closed her eyes listening to the emptiness of winter and the howling of the wind. It sounded so peaceful as if singing to the dead.

"If only the dead could hear my sorrow, a sorrow I freely sing, a poetic plea to ends one life, Done by the edge of ones arrow. Softly now, I beg of you to end my bout of strife, to sing to me a new song, a song that sets me free." ::She sang into the night, an ancient song of suffering, the melody seemed beautiful and serene, yet it was very sad.

When she finished the song she sat there and shivered again. What she would give right now for someone to hold her. Her be there for her, to warm her the way her cloak couldn't and to speak to her with love and touch her lovingly. She let her head fall, realizing this would never happen. She could never trust anyone enough to make that work.

It was getting much too late to stay up any longer, the moon was threatening to disappear into the horizon as the sun began to peek in a new day. She would sleep in, yet another good day. Reika carefully let go of the grip around her legs and let her legs fall into the room as she stood up and stretched yawning. She undresssed slowly looking at herself in the mirror, inspecting herself. At least she only had a few scars on her body that gave away her past. She let down her hair and brushed it as she sat on her bed in the nude, watching herself in the mirror as if she didn't know who it was in the mirror.

"Oh how much you have changed. Inside, and Out." She looked to her reflection in dismay. "Your brother would be so ashamed of what you have done..." ::She scowled at herself in the mirror and hissed:: "You don't understand what you speak of... You are heartless and you have not lived what I have lived......" Enraged, Reika threw the brush at her reflection's head, causing the mirror to shatter into many shards. Reika just sat there, stunned. Was she going insane? What just happened?

She took a deep breath looked out into the night and slipped into bed, she had the hardest time going to sleep that night but finally sleep crept upon her and closed her eyes, to escape this mundane world and let her drift into the world of dreams.

Another night, Another day
