The Balancer of Chronepsis-

Appearance- It is a 8' foot long, Black Adamantine DoubleSword, weighing all of 20 pounds, though in the hands of Non-Followers it can weigh like it was 500 pounds. It has Draconic script etched in its two blades, which are each three long, and wide at the base, tappering to a squared point at each tip. Each blade also has a groove in the middle, a blood groove, that allows blood from enemies to flow down the blade.

The two foot long handle between the blades is wrapped in Grey-black strips of Dragon Scales, said to be taken from Chronepsis' rotted hide. When used by a Follower of Chronepsis, the two blades set ablaze with Grey Fire, the Fire of Chronepsis' deadly Fire Breath.

Origins- The Balancer was made by the Hand of Chronepsis himself, forged of purest Adamantine taken from the Heart of the Elemental Plane of Earth. Forged by Chronepsis in the depths of the Dwarven Mounntain at an Anvil of Mithril, heated by the Fire Breath of Chronepsis. Taking a whole year to fold and heat the sword. When it was finished Chronepsis cooled the Sword in his own Divine Blood. Then he exposed the Sword to the energies of the Negative Energry Plane and the Possitive Energry Plane, each time lasting for 1001 days.

Lastly he took the DoubleSword and plunged it into the Spire at the center of the Outlands, drawing the Grey Blood of the Spire, the Blood of Neutrality into the Sword. Once done the Sword, the Balancer was ready to give it to his Highest of Proxies, the High WarLords of Asharan. To be passed down from one to the next, to serve the Will of Chronepsis. From Ashar down, over 8,000 years of use the Balancer has seen. It is a Sacred Relic of Asharan.

Powers- The Balance is a Vorpal weapon that can cleave through the hardest of Dragon Hides and toughest Stone. It can even cleave through Mithril and Steel like a hot knife through butter. The Grey Flames can burn Undead and Fiends with Holy Energy, or Good Celestials with Dark, Unholy power. Beings of Law feel the Fury of Chaos, and Creatures of Chaos will feel the Sting of Law. The Balancer also grants its wielder uncanny speed in battle, making a holder seem to blur with a Ghost-like phasing. One of its greatest powers is that it can cut the Veil of Time and show a person two possible Fates, one of Good Fortune or Griesly Death.
Any Dragon, not matter what they were like in Life, if killed be the Balancer for trying to Unnaturally extend their Lives beyond their Measure have their souls directly sent before Chronepsis. For Judgement, this is called the Harvest of Chronepsis.

Current Location- The Balancer of Chronepsis is now in the hands of Kos StormBlade, 26th High Warlord of Asharan, now in his 197th year of Reign, out of 300 years given to him as Ruler of Asharan. He will of course maintain status as a Proxy to Chronepsis, serving as on the Council of Elders, who advise the High Warlord and the High Captains, after his Reign is completed. He will then hand The Balancer to the next chosen High Warlord.

The Scrolls of Ixion-

Appearnace- The Scrolls of Ixion are a set of thirty thin golden scrolls, etched with Ancient Draconic Runes that have been filled in with silver. The material value alone of these Three scrolls make them priceless. The Scrolls of Ixion are kept in seperate Mithril scroll tubes. Which are sealed with hard blue clay caps, each imprinted with the Magic Sigil of Ixion. All three of these Scroll tubes are bound together in two chains of pure Mithril.

Origins- The Scrolls of Ixion, were writen by a powerful Human Wizard named Ixion, who was a Necromancer without equal. He lived 6,000 years ago in Asharan and was infact the first High Archmagus of the Mages' Guild of Asharan. He was old though, his body beginning to fail him and he wanted to live Forever. For another 30 years the old Wizard travelled to places where other Mortals had not traversed in Millenia. To other Planes and even other Worlds it was said. Adding already to his considerable knowledge and power.

He became one of the most powerful Wizards of all time. Both feared and revered by such as Vecna, Aecrecek and Raistlin Majere. At the end of his travels now truely old, some say by this time 150 years of age. He finished his work, his greatest work, Golden Scrolls containing the secrets of Everlasting Life. When he performed the ritual to give himself a newer younger body, with Immortality, Ixion's own hidden sanctuary exploded, with a great blaze of Magical green fire.

All that was left, were some half-charred books and baubles and the Scrolls intact. It would be years before some of the ArchMaguses' found the ruins of Ixion's old hidden sanctuary. And they found the scrolls, intact and deemed them too dangerous for anyone to see, so they were sealed away. However some knowledge escaped, gleaned from the Scrolls, the Clone Spell being some of that knowledge.

As for Ixion, no one knew if he succeeded or not, his body was never found. There have been many rumors of a young Man that looked like Ixion in his youth, but these are all stories.

Powers- The Scrolls contain within their words every known Necromantic spell in Existance. That in of itself is a great volume of knowledge to any Necrmancer. However if the code of the Scrolls is figured out, and placed in the right sequence, one can find the Great Work, the Ritual needed to make a Living body, a living Vessel for the owner of the Scrolls. A body created by Alchemy and Magic, that is said to have Everlasting life for the one that performs the Ritual.

However there is a risk, should there be one mistep, no matter how small a terrible Cataclysm well befall everyone and everything within 500 miles of those Scrolls. This Cataclysm well be of a permanent nature, that well have a great effect on the surrounding land, and can only be set right by a God. This is why the Scrolls are locked away, for all time.

Location- For the nearly the past 6,000 years, the Scrolls of Ixion have been locked deep away in the vast, mazelike UnderVaults of the Grand Arcanium, the three massive Towers of the Mages' Guild's headquaters in Nirunar. The Towers themselves are a heavily guarded and warded Fortress. As for the Undervaults, only the High Archmagus and the ten Archmaguses, and those escorted by them may traverse the UnderVaults. A deadly array of Magical Traps, Iron and Stone Golems warded with Magical traps of their own and powerful Guardian Undead protect the UnderVaults. The Vault where the Scrolls are kept has walls of thick lead, steel and magically reinforced stone, in all ten feet thick. And kept behind doors of Adamantine-lined lead doors, with both Admantine locks and chains and Magical locks that only the most powerful of Mages can unlock.

The Mirror of Souls-

Appearance- A five foot, by three foot wide, oval mirror of darkened glass. With a frame made of bronze, gilded in gold, though the gold flecks are tarnished and peeling. The Top and the Bottom of the frame is adorned with two leering, horned demon heads, mouths opened, forked tongues curled up. The Mirror seems to have faded figures, shadows in its darkened glass. These being the victims of the Mirror's power and the greed of the Mirror's owners. The Mirror and the Frame are both cold to the touch and whispers too eminate from the Mirror as well.

Origins- The Mirror has a dark past indeed, once owned some 1,700 years ago by an Elven Princess. The Mirror then was much different, a Mirror of Silver, with bright glass, and Dragon head motifs. It was a Looking Glass, as well as Mirror used to pose questions to about one's fortune for one year into the Future. A gift from the Princess' Father, the Seer King as he was called. It was one day The Princess asked the mirror what her fortune would be if she was to marry.

The Mirror which was enchanted to never lie, spoke to her and said she will marry, and have a child. But that one day after she is known to be pregnent with child, that her husband would have a tryst with a servant girl. That the Princess would find them in the couple's Bedchamber and would kill the husband and the servant girl. So horrified, that the Princess covered the mirror up with a thick cloth and had the mirror taken to the Attic. The vision was forgotten in time and the Princess met a brave Human Prince some six months later, and the two fell in love and married. A month later on the New Moon, the Princess was found to be with child.

At first happy, then the words of the vision came back to haunt the Princess. She told all her maidens and servents not to say anything to the Prince. They did so, but were confussed as to why. It was nearly five months after this, almost a full year after the vision saw given, that the Prince found out from one of the Maidens who was in a drunken stupor after a night at the local Traven. The Prince angered that he was not told about the pregnency confronted the Princess, and she told him the truth.
After a full day and night, as the princess was walking to her quarter after a visit from her Father, she found her Husband. And he was not alone, he was with the Maiden that spoke about the Princess being with child. So enraged by this, and having a hate for the Maiden and her drunken confession. That is when the Princess took from her dresser a dagger her father gave her, she killed the two lovers in anger. Their blood all over her nightgown and hands. She screamed and ran to the attic, as the guards came.

She uncovered the Mirror and asked what she must do. But the mirror did not awnser, so she pleaded and spoke to the darkness in her rage. Blood smeared on the mirror and the frame. Then a voice, not the Mirror anwsered her. It told her to that she must offer her soul and the soul of her child in order to be made safe from harm. And so the Princess did this. And when she did, the Mirror changed and used its power to transport her and it to a cave deep in the Mountains of Aerie. A cave controlled by the Drow, they tried to kill her, until the Mirror spoke to the Drow and commanded them to stop or they would die. They did so, and helped the Elf, now corrupted, now twisted into the likeness of Drow.

With these Drow and her Mirror, these Princess became a Matron Mother. And when her child was born the Mirror claimed the soul of the Elven Princess. The Child, a Half Drow/Half Human girl, protected by the Mirror grew to pwer and claimed her mother's throne. And she had a child, and she too lost her life, when the Child was born. And so this went on for many years. Until the House of the Former Elf, fell to a rival house. The Mirror gone, and over the years the Mirror has given wealth and power to those that offer their souls and the souls of their firstborn to the Mirror. In the end, the Mirror always collects.

Powers- The Mirror of Souls, when taken into possesion by someone, learns right away of the Mirror's true nature. And if it senses this person to be one that seeks wealth or power or long life, it offers a deal. To grant the wish of the owner. But if the mirror senses no such desires it transport away, and if asked to grant a selfless wish, such as healing someone that is sick or dying, the Mirror's frame cracks and peels some.

The Mirror has the power to grant any selfish wish, but such wishes corrupt the owner to evil and twists their soul. And at a certain point that person's soul is drawn into the Mirror, to reside in a Shadowy place of Imprisonment for all time. As to where this place is or who the Being is that grants these wishes is unknown. The cycle continues onto the Firstborn of the previous owner and so on, until the line stops. Then the Mirror goes of to feed on more victims.

Location- As of now, it is unknown where the Mirror of Souls is. The Legend of it is known, and it is sought to be destroyed. However it protects itself be offering one wish, one wish of anykind that is based in Greed.

The Tome of Fate-

Appearance-An old and decayed Tome with black, worn leather, yellowed parchment pages and faded and fading writing. All of about two feet wide and two feet high, and say only about a foot thick. It is heavier then it looks, about 50 pounds in weight. Bounding the Tome are two tarnished chains of silver, holding the Tome closed with a set of locks, made of silver. Though this locks and chains are stronger then even Mithril. The keys to these locks are kept seperate. So that the knowledge within does not fall into the wrong hands. The two keys themselves are archaic looking keys of tarnished silver, also stronger then Mithril. Each key is on a necklace of old leather and yellowed, cracked bones.

Origins- This Tome is infact the Book in which Chronepsis keeps all the Names of all Dragons and DragonKin and even those who are distantly related to Dragons, such as Kobolds and Elves and Humans with Dragon Ancestory. Which is millions and Millions of names contained in this Tome. Chronepsis being the Dragon God of Fate and Death, records all the names and fates of all such beings in his Tome. To keep a grim Record until the End of All itself, his own Fate and Name to be last in that Tome. It is infact a measure of Time itself for the Multiverse.

Powers- To know the Fate of oneself, or another, to see how much Time is left until the End of All Things. This is indeed great Power, by having this Tome, one could alter the lives of many or one's own life for a selfish reason. Or for a selfless reason, but still it is altering Fate. And that is a dangerous thing to do. If by some chance someone were to have both keys and take this Tome. All one has to do if he is even of the smallest amount of Dragon Blood in him, is to speak his name. And a full accounting of his Life, from Birth to Death and even beyond Death is laid before his eyes. His entire Fate, all there, and thusly could be altered. But doing such a thing can throw much out of Balance.

So much so, that if a person had a Life that would effect many, to alter that would have dire and catacylismic effects on many people. This is why the Tome of Fate is held protected at all times.

Location- The Tome of Fates itself is in the Realm of Chronepsis himself, where he spends each day, writing into the Tome all the names and Fates of those he sees in his mind and speaks to the Tome, which records those names and fates of those he sees. It is at all times be his Throne of Bones and grey-black cracked Marble. In the ruined Halls of his Masuoleum Palace. He keeps one key with him at all times, hidden in his ruinous and decayed form. The other key at all times is kept amongst one of his Proxy-Champions, which is then given to another Proxy-Champion every 100 years. And they well stop at nothing to kill anyone or anything that tries to take that key in their charge. If someone manages to take that key, then the Proxy-Champion stops at nothing to regain it. There is no higher prioriety. Loss of a key by a Proxy is punishable by loss of Proxy status for 100 years and a difficult quest set by Chronepsis in order to prove their ability to best serve Chronepsis.

The Forge of Creation-

Appearance- The Forge of Creation is infact a large complex, a two leveled room, with a series of Machines, Pipes, Presses, Molds, Water Tanks, Furnaces, Vats and Anvils. All powered by Elemental Magic and Alchemy. An organized mess of Iron and Copper and Glass, stairways, levers, turning wheels, cranes, carts on tracks, large cooling fans and gauges. As such the Forge is immobile, the Machines and other fixtures are bolted into the thick Iron plate floors and walls.

Origins- The Forge of Creation is one of the major complexes found in the Great Sky Fortress of Neirixius, A powerful Red Dragon and Mage of great skill. Neirixius was infact the son of the Red Terror Dragon Lord, the Greatest of the Dragon Lords. And Neirixius was the greatest of all the Dragon Vassels, as he was placed in charge of the Dragon Vassals. Neirixius is also credited with being the first Dragon Vassal to have bred with the Human women slaves during the DrgaonLord Reign. As such Neirixius is the First Progenitor of the DragonBorn.

One of his other projects in that time was the building of a mighty Magical Sky Fortress, made of Basalt, Adamantine, Granite and the bones of Good Dragons, Neirixius had slain. And one of the complexes he had built by his Dwarven slaves was the Forge of Creation.

After the Death of The Red Terror and the overthrow of the other DragonLords and the scattering of the Dragon Vassals, Neirixius being one of the them, escaped into the void of Deep Space. He and his Sky Fortress never seen again. Though many from Asharan have tried to find it, some never returned.

Powers- The Forge of Creation has a two fold purpose, the First or Top level of the Forge is used to create any kind Metal armor or weapon of such quality and purity, its even better made then Dwarves or Elves can make. And each armor and weapon has a magical enchantment which can be picked by the Forger of said Armor or Weapon. Though it can only be one enchantment and no other enchantments can be placed on the made item. However the tradeoff is that the Enchantment placed is of a very powerful Enchantment.

The Second or Bottom level of the Forge is geared for a single purpose as well. For in this room lies the Life Crux, a large glowing white crystal, that floats within a magical sphere. This bizarre Crystal, which is actually mutliple shards of various sized and shaped crystals merged together is infact a piece of the Plane of Positive Enrgy, the Plane of Life. Neirixius had a small force of intelligent Iron Golems claim this prize.

For you see when using this second floor, Neirixius had a goal in mind. He wanted to create WarForged, the Living Metal and flesh race of Golems created for War and Conquest. It was a plan to send out armies of WarForged and DragonBorn to conquer all of the world of Rhydin. Such an army would have been near unstoppable. With the prinicples of Alchemy to create the flesh in large vats, as well as with the power of Elemental and Necromantic magics and with the Life Spark power of the Life Crux, it was hoped by Neirxius to create his army of WarForged.

However this never came to be, with the overthrow of the DragonLords and their Vassals. It is unknown if the Forge can accomplish this task.

Location- The Forge of Creation is of course hidden somewhere in the Sky Fortress of Neirixius, known also as the Fortress of Death and Power. And as the Fortress has the power to both travel in the depths of Space and to other Planes, there is no telling where the Fortress is. Many still search it out, one reason being the Forge of Creation, and the promise of creating a loyal army of Warforged.

The Infinitirum-

Appearance- An immobile construct, within the Sky Fortress of Neirixius. It consists of four curved Pillars made of solid Basalt and DragonSteel, carved with runes of Time and Space, lined with a Magical alloy of Gold, Mithril, Copper, Silver and Cold Iron called Nirthirium. These four pillars, which measures at a height of 60 each, surround a pit cavred into the floor of the Hemi-sphere shaped room. The Pit itself is 40 feet across and 5 feet deep, and filled with a glowing silvery, semi-liquid substance call Quintessance. A strange, rare form of Magical Energy given a semi-solid.

This pool of Quintessance is essentially highly charged Magical fuel. Fuel that is needed to power the Infinitirum. As one enters the Room of the Infinitirum, or as it is simply called the Cathedral of Infinity, one comes to the control panel of this Artifact. A Large, arching, flat, slightly angled Cathedral-like Organ-like panel. The control panel is made of solid Black Granite, taken from the depths of the Plane of Earth. The Keys, like Organ keys are both large and small, large Bronze keys and small silver keys. There are four sets of 30 keys, for 120 total keys. Each Key, large and small has a single Ruin or Glyph carved into it.

Origins- The Infinitrum was built along with the rest of Neirixius.

Powers- This device has one purpose, when the right series of Keys are pressed, which glow and hum with a strange sort of Harmonics, that somehow form into a harmonic resonance. This Harmonic resonance using the energy of the Quintessnance pool, and powering the Glyphs on the four pillars opens a Portal. This Portal is large enough for the entire Sky Fortress and all in it, to not only travel to any world in the Multriverse or Plane, but also in Time. The Fortress can go back Millions of years or forever Millions of years. However there are two dangers with Time Travelling. First, the the further one goes forward or back, the more Quintessance is used. Roughly 10 gallons for every 100 years travelled backward or forward.

Secondly, when one goes forward or backward, there is a chance of catastrophic failure. As in, if a Failure happens, it can cause a Time Quake. Such Quakes run from a One to Ten, Tens can destory the Time Stream of a world, thus obliterating that world and all on it. However all in the Fortress and the Fortress itself are intact. It is this second aspect that gives the Fotress its greatest weapon of all. One can actually cause a controlled Failure to happen, on purpose. By using the Infinitirum someone can destory an entire world in the Blink of an Eye. The whole history, the whole world and all peoples on a world, wiped out into Oblivion.

It is this feared function of the Infinitirum, which is the main reason of why the Fortress is being sought after.

Location- The Inifitirum is thought to be within the core area of the Fortress of Neirixius. But this is unknown as the Fortress is lost.
