"Welcome Dear Reader to the Library's Rare Books section, as this is the place you well find these Tomes. In a dusty, old corner of the Ancient Library, most appropriate don't you think?
Follow me good Reader if its the Books of Ashar you want then I know the way. They are old tomes, and many in number. Some as old as 7,000 years in age. Copies mind you, not the real ones, those are elsewhere. As precious as Gold they are, some of the Greatest Treasures of Knowledge for Asharan.
What are the Books of Ashar, well that is a fine question to ask. They are the collected Histories, Myths, Legends and repositories of the Peoples and creatures of Asharan. Oh you never heard of Asharan? Well it is a great Landmass of two large Landmasses that form a vast Continent some twenty-four hundred Miles West by North-West of the Rhydin Continent.
These here books, not sure how many there are really, as this is the whole of History for that Land. Also known as the Realms of the Far West, across the Great Western Sea. The earilist known origins go back to Elven Sages that lived in the Time of Ashar, the DragonBorn of the Gold and Silver Scales, who led the Peoples of the Western Lands to victory over the Evil Dragon Lords.
You well find many things in these Tomes, the Laws of Asharan, its long Histories. A look into the Myths and Legends of its Peoples, a view into the how the Imperium of Asharan is structured. Among other things mind you, it would take a long time to mention all that you wil find in them.
But for now, enjoy Dear Reader, oh and remember, be careful with the binding on some of those Books. And when you are done, please blow out the candle, don't want to burn these Books arround you. Have a good read Dear patron."
