A very simple token of affection arrived early Wednesday morning at the Chainned Inn (the location of which was outlined on the business card the slaver had given to Samilee). A courier had asked for a decent tip to be traveling to the establishment, but he was efficient and arrived a full twenty minutes prior to when he had told the slacker the package would be delivered.

A box wrapped in black paper and topped with a newspaper-cuttings crafted bow was given to the woman at the front desk along with a cute little card that read: "For Travanix" across the front in slanted silver letters. Opening the card further would reveal little message in similar script. "They said I shouldn't accept your gifts until Brutin speaks with you. Still, I couldn't resist returning the favor. Hope it's the right color. Looking forward to a great time this weekend. -Sami"

Through layers of tissue paper was a little gift safely tucked away. It might not have been the slaver's style, but it definitely spoke from a derby queen's heart. A pair of custom Converse were nestled securely in their little bed of smoky gray paper. A pale orange colored canvas had black inner lining and a classic black and white skull tattoo-flash tongue. Laces were classic ebony and on the outside of the left shoe was stitched the cursive word "Master" and on the other side was the word "Travanix". Further inspection would show that the bottoms of the shoes had a rubber picture of a whip that would be left as the imprint in footsteps while walking in these shoes.

Next to the shoe was the black ribbon and glowstick that he had given her while they were dancing. Sami hoped he would understand that it was only a matter of time before they found it and she had to give them back.
