Katerrina was born on the planet Rogram. When she was a small child, a couple members of the new Jedi Order arrived on a peace-keeping mission. They immediately recognized her as Force-sensitive, and when they left, they took Katerrina with them to the new Jedi Acadamy on Ossus.
Her days in the Acadamy were eventful, to say the least. Katerrina was highly gifted in the Force, and she found her lessons extremely easy. Because of this, she was labeled a disciplinary problem, given to acting out to alleviate her boredom. The Masters seemed unsure of what to do with her.
Katerrina's temperment improved when she was chosen as a Learner. The challenges helped keep her focused, and she exceled in every situation. One mission stayed with her long after it was completed. She, her Master, and two Knights broke up a vicious slavery ring. The looks on the battered, broken girls' faces lingered in her dreams for weeks, making her vow to put an end to the practice wherever she might find it.
She passed all her Trials days before her 19th birthday, one of the youngest Knights in the Order. Her Masters told her to be mindful of her pride, and her quick temper. Once she was able to strike out on her own, she flew through an uncharted hyperdimensional gate, landing on RhyDin. The first information she gathered on this strange new world was the existence of a slaver house. She thought to go in and pull it down. Things didn't work out like she'd planned.

Katerrina is highly gifted in the use of the Force. Her abilities include matter manipulation, the reading of surface thoughts, enhanced speed, and concealment, usually within shadows or fog. She is able to draw on negative emotions and channel them into a Force Scream, a devestating wave of power able to smash through physical and mental defenses, leaving death and destruction behind. She can use the Force to break bones, rupture blood vessels, and crush organs without leaving a mark.
Her battle skills have been enhanced. She is much stronger than her frame suggests. She can cause massive structural damage with her fists. When she uses her lightsaber, the blows are harsh and brutal. She uses kicks and palm strikes to unbalance and confuse her opponents. Katerrina is now without mercy.
