LordTravanix

?He hassss been missssing for monthsss now with noooo communication!? A large creature breathed out. He was settled in a large circled room, many thrones lined along the edge. ?We neeeed to open hisss posssition and begin the procceedure to replaccesssse him!?

Larnen sighed heavily. He had seen this far too often, especially as of late. The younger members, the ones lacking anything except greed wanted nothing more than to call out Travanix and get rid of him, then take over. Lord Pol and Lady Hess however were still there. As long as they were still there, he had faith that it would not happen. ?Lord Gorl?laa, it is not the first time Lord Travanix has not been available for an extended period of time.? The large man stood, folding his arms over his chest. ?He often goes undercover to take care of business issues or to hunt. That is his nature. Furthermore, Lady Hess has informed this council that Lord Travanix has sent messages that he is alive through his slaves.?

?Slaves loyal to Travanix, not Circle!? Growled out a cloaked member with a mechanical breathing apparatus attached to ?his? throat and mouth, ?No reason to believe slaves!?

Romax looked to Larnen and shook his head. Larnen sighed and settled himself back in his throne. The room was quiet for a moment. The elder members remember what it was like during the ?trial? of Travanix. None of them wanted to deal with that again. The younger members were greedy, power hungry and ready to kick the Dark Warrior out. He ran the Circle like it was his personal army.

Very few realized that it wasn?t ?like? his personal army.

It *is* his personal army.

The Lady Hess, as she was known within the Circle, sat impassive in her Master's throne. Her expression was neutral as Lord Gorl'laa ranted. He had been singing the same tune since Lord Travanix disappeared. But he was young, and easily replaced if his loyalty didn't improve.

The response the cloaked creature gave to Larnen made Katerrina stand quickly, her movements so like her Master's it made more than a few of the men jump. She stalked to the creature, her black gown clinging to her figure like a second skin with every step. This was not the blundering clumsy Jedi who once swore at a tailor in every language she knew. The woman who now stood over the creature was now every inch a noblewoman. Her eyes were blood-red, staring down at the creature.

"I can understand your reluctance, to believe the word of two slaves girls. I cannot, however, understand your reluctance to believe MY word. If Master Travanix was dead, Lord Pol would know. I would know. And I can assure you, as well as this Council, that Master Travanix lives. And as long as he lives, it is he who is in charge."

She snapped a hand forward, grabbing the breathing apparatus before the creature could move. He immediately began clutching at his throat, gurgling sounds coming from within the cloak. "If you want to continue breathing, I suggest you remember your place, and who runs the Circle." With a look of disgust, she flung the apparatus at the creature, and whirled about to face the rest of the Council, eyes blood-red in her controlled fury.

The creature was gagging and grasping for air, pulling the unit back close to him and re-attaching it to his throat. The loyal ones grimiced, the younger ones flew into anger - but did not act on it.

They did not filter their thoughts or emotions. They could be read like a child's book. As the Lady Hess settled herself upon the throne of her master, another younger one stood up. He was a solider once, but felt betrayed when his commanding officer would not order the killing blow upon their enemies. A scar across his eye told the tale of his murder of his CO and the others that did not see things his way.

He was the loudest of dark thoughts - visualizing the death of Hess and Pol as they sat upon the thrones. He stood up and moved a few meters from his seat. "If Travanix is alive, we need proof, not secondhand information! We demand to see him, see this proof of him and confirm it is him. Otherwise, he is to be listed as dead and elections held for his replacement!"

He looked to Hess, "Can you give us anything other than your supposed 'instincts', Witch?"

Katerrina crossed her legs, giving the men of the Circle a glimpse of curvy leg, before her hand coolly arranged her skirt. A hint of a smirk formed as she saw several of them react, their lusts at war with their hatred of her. The younger one's lust screamed loudest, and added depravities to the long list of things he wanted to do to her, before causing her death.

She did not turn her head to look at the man. She simply lifted one gloved hand, and closed her fist. Within microseconds, the young former soldier clutched at his groin, seized with excrutiating pain that drove him to his knees.

"I do not have 'supposed' instincts. I have knowledge of which you cannot begin to imagine. You call me a witch?" She squeezed her fist tighter, making the soldier scream into the floor. "Then you are a bigger fool than the pathetic creature scrabbling for breath!" She jerked her fist towards her, and the man let out a terrible strangled cry, before falling forward into a pool of his own bodliy fluids.

Katerrina did not stand. Her eyes pinned each of the other Circle members in their places. "I am Master Travanix's voice. I am his Apprentice. I say Master Travanix is alive. Does anyone else dare to question my word?"

No one spoke. No one dared, not with the former soldier's congealing blood on the floor.
