Katerrina Hess

The man screamed. It was the sound of a small animal just before it got speared by the hawk. The sound of the deer before the jaguar struck. He was on his knees, his arm twisted behind his back. Katerrina grabbed the man by what was left of his hair with her free hand and yanked his head back. "Where's the rest of the shipment? It's a case short!"

"Now, darlin', if you just let me ex-"

The man's response was cut short by the snap of bone as Katerrina broke his upper arm, making him scream again. "First of all, you will call me Lady Hess. Second, I don't want your explanations. I want answers. Where's the rest of the shipment?"

The man whimpered. ?L-lady Hess, the shipment was short, we didn? have nothin? to do wi-?

Katerrina pulled hard on the man?s head, forcing him to look into her blood-red eyes. ?Did you think that because Master Travanix didn?t come himself for the shipment, you could take what?s his?? The man?s throat closed off as she stared at him, making his eyes bug out in terror. Katerrina?s voice was cold as she spoke. ?When you deal with me, you deal with Master Travanix. You will treat me with the same respect as you do him, and that means not stealing what isn?t yours just because you think yourself clever. Now, where?s the rest of my shipment??

The man nodded mutely, and Katerrina released his throat from her Force Grip. He coughed, and spat at her. ?Damn whore, why I oughta-?

She yanked the man to his back by the hair, making him scream as he landed on his broken arm. She reached for his throat and slammed him into the wall, squeezing as she spoke calmly. ?I don?t advise calling me names. That won?t help you stay alive.? The man?s face blotched purple as he choked. He pointed with one finger at a door. Katerrina smirked. ?Is that where my case is?? The man nodded weakly. ?Good boy.? She gripped the man?s throat harder, and yanked. He collapsed to the floor, dead before he hit it.

Katerrina turned and walked for the door. One of the other workers quickly opened it, and she went for the crate. She opened it. Inside were the rest of the liquor bottles and the six small metal boxes Lord Pol wanted before morning. She closed the crate after she was satisfied nothing was tampered with, and raised her hand. The crate lifted and floated in front of her as she walked towards the main doors. She guided it to join the others on her transport. The other worker bowed to her and handed over all the paperwork. She checked it, signed it, and returned it to the younger man, who bowed quickly and left to file it.

The transport door opened and Katerrina stepped inside. She would reach the Asylum Club just before sunrise. Just in time.
