The snap of the metal belt was loud enough to arouse the groggy figure belted to the table. "Begin recording. Experiment 12K dash 193. Chemical brainwash of N dash 12." He nodded to Romax who was standing near a terminal and began entering commands, and watching the displays near him closely.

The man on the table began to thrash around wildly, the gag in his mouth secure none the less. Travanix patted the dirty forehead of the man a couple of times. "I can assure you, in a few minutes, the pain you feel now won't really mater." The man's brow furrowed heavily, as he fought harder against the bindings. There was fire in his eyes, and death in his muted voice.

It was rather interesting, to say the least. It was unfortunate th at the last 11 subjects died so horribly. Romax's work with the new chemicals were, as always, under going continued research. Travanix turned back to the panels near him. "Inserting tube number one, upper torso, right side." The tube from the ceiling began to rotate into position as Travanix manipulated the controls. Romax made sure the chemical vat the tube was attached to was ready to pump.

The man struggled more violently now, as he saw the needle attached to the tube begin to move. It settled just above his chest, before it droped down sharply. The needle pierced the man's torso without mercy. "Tube insertion completed. We are on mark. Preparing number two."

There was cold effiecency in the man's voice as he worked. A burtality with a surgical precision that was unmatched. Romax's talents were in the cruelty with a child like wonder. Regardless - they were both very good at what they did.

And enjoyed every moment of it.

The second tube began to move. "Insertion point, jugular." The needle moved into place above the table. There was sheer terror in the man's eyes as he saw where the new needle was aiming. It was only a moment before it drove down towards his neck, piercing his flesh. "Mark two in."

Romax needed no other notice, as the second vat was brought online. He worked the controls without looking at them. They had preformed this far to many times. The chemical cocktail he had come up with was sure to do the trick. Both pumps began to run, begining to process the fluid into the man's body.

"Flush tube prepared, moving into position in right thigh." The tube began to move, but the man didn't. His back was arched as tight against the bindings as it would allow. He couldn't scream, his breathing was quick, almost hyperventalating. Travanix could hear the breathing behind him and smirked as the new tube was positioned over his thigh. It drove down into the thigh. "Begin flush."

The pressure of the chemicals began to force blood out the new tube. Blood flowed easily. The process lasted nearly an hour, and the man didn't move. His breathing was heavy and fast. Romax and Travanix both felt the intensity of the pain in his body as if someone had poured fuel into his veins and then ignited it.

The man's eyes rolled back into his head, the body dropped to the table from the bindings. "Status?"

Romax didn't turn from the monitors. "Heartrate returning to human norms, chemicals are detected running through 95% of the brain, 87% of the organs."

Travanix turned from the console he was working on back to the man. "N12, can you hear me." There was a pause, then a slight nod. "Move your right index finger."

There was a pause, as if the mind and will was being reset. But it moved several times then stopped. "Move your right ankle." The ankle moved a little quicker.

"Romax, I believe you have found the correct solution." Romax grinned from ear to ear, Travanix saw as he caught it in the reflection of the monitors.

Travanix turned, continuing to work on the console, monitoring the completion of the experiment. His new army would be ready to join with the creatures soon.
