Alenurr walked into the Chainned Inn after hearing many tales and it seemed to have a good reputation of accommodating people like him. He was in fact a thief that was wanted on several criminal accounts and was looking for a place to stay without authorities bothering him. So, he chose this inn. He liked it as soon as he saw the outside of it and the inside made him feel right at home in the dark. He made no noise as he entered and slipped off to the corner of the room and sat almost invisible as his body was covered by a large black hooded robe. He fumbled with a lock pick that was in his pocket with one hand and laid his free hand on the table. He glanced around the room seeing the slaves, masters, and mistresses. He didn't particularly care for slavery, though it didn't bother him in the least bit, he just had no need for a slave. It was too much work for him, seeing as he moved from place to place often.

Though the inn was busy, there was something...off. His dark auburn eyes looked around. Someone had slipped in attempting to avoid detection. Little did most know - nothing escaped his attention. He knew that the new arrival was not attempting to cause problems. Perhaps hide from his or her own problems then?

Regardless, the dark chill of the air would find him or her soon enough. It lofted across the floor, moving along the exposed flesh of those presant. The slave girls that were new to the inn would feel a feeling of fear few would ever experiance. The girls that were comfortable within its grasp were his.

A fact few disagreed with.

The new arrival would be found either by him or his dillgent girls.

Either way - he or she would be found.

He looked up directly into the mans eyes and he removed his hood to reveal his face. It was smooth and looked almost elvish except for one long scar that stretched across his left eye and down to his chin. His left eye appeared blind in color but was a perfectly functioning eye. His right eye was brown and matched his short brown hair. He recognized the man who was looking at him and did so only by the talk of other people for he had never seen him. This man must be Lord Travanix. The Lords reputation was quite well know by thieves and murderers and scoundrels and those of the like. The Lord was just who Alenurr was looking for, though, he was almost scared to walk to him and plainly greet him and so he decided to just sit.

The evening carried on. The girls that were his served the patrons within the inn. A delightful little red head served the one attempting to remain discreet. Her voice was gentle as she inquired of the one if she may serve him once again.

He nodded a yes and asked "May I speak with Lord Travanix if, of course, he is available at this time? I have somewhat of a favor to ask of him." He said this with a monotone voice and began to think over is greetings and how exactly he would ask Lord Travanix. He had come to the conclusion that when they met, if they met, he would be straight to the point and not beat around the bush. Making up his mind he looked up to the waitress patiently.

The girl hesitated for only a heart beat before she nodded with a smile and skitted off to retrieve the dark form from his private booth. But only before she knelt at his side. His hand reached out, caressing her red hair gently before he looked up, looking over to the man who had summoned him. He patted her again, pulling his hand from her head. He stood as she moved away from him. His arms pulling behind him like he was some preditory bird waiting for his prey.

He approached the table, the dark chill ever around him as his tones were as cold as his presence. "You wished to speak with me?" He inquuired.

"Yes" he said in an almost monotone voice. "I am obviously not from Rhy'Din, though I'm being hunted for crimes committed in cities around it, I have never actually been here. I am looking for something of great value to the city, something that no one would think possible to steal, and someone to help me steal it." He looked up directly into Lord Travanix's eyes and held them there waiting for an answer.

He smirked lightly as the man inquired of him. "And what makes you think I know of such things, my friend?" His own eyes didn't waver, didn't flinch. "Hmm?"

"I have heard much of you and it seems to me that you would know much." He said with a slight smirk. "I can pay you for the information in cash or items if wish."

He didn't know if the thief had ever cut a deal with the devil, but he was about to learn dealing with a demon is far worse. "You will cut me in for 55% of whatever take you make, be it gold or items. You will confirm with me before you make a hit on any building or personal residence in the city. I can't exactly have you hitting one of my other businesses."

"Hmph. I'm not stealing for the items or the money but to simply show that I can. I will give you all the items and all the money I get, I just want the credit for stealing it." He gave Lord Travanix a smirk.

He pondered for a moment before speaking again. "Very well, if that's all that you want, I think that can be arranged. Within the museum is a clear crystal ring. Its clear, that is, until it is near a warm body. I wouldn't recommend touching it directly." He gave it a moment to sink in. "Bring it to me and I'll provide you with an even greater opportunity. What do you say?"
