He leaned back in his office chair, reviewing the destruction of his warehouse. He tapped his chin. He reached down, caressing one of his pets that were serving in his office. He shook his head slightly. The other hand reached out, a set of papers lifted up, and moved to his hand. He lined the papers up in the air under the monitors that were watching the destruction of his property.

There was no coincidence here. Something was not right. He tapped his chin once more. There were raids happening with some frequency, but not actually occuring on his territory - yet.

Then this happened.

There was something going on. The sensors began to read back the data reported. It was interesting that his facility was destroyed from an orbiting ship. One that wasn't in his database. The other monitors were still scanning, however. The assults were not linked, persay. Of course, after the first few warehouses were raided, he ordered his own territoriy emptied for the time being. Only a few were kept.

He tapped his chin once more then shook his head. Unknown weapons, ships in orbit. It could have only been the unwanted governor. The hand left the girl, turning himself to face his desk completely. He tapped his finger on his desk. He had heard of underground movements beginning to stir against him. It was only a matter of time.

He couldn't help but chuckle.

Katerrina spent the last couple of days searching the rubble of the warehouse and gathering samples. A weapon that could take out one of their buildings from that great a distance had to be ferreted out quickly. She filled vial after vial with charred pieces of wood and concrete.

She walked up to the office door and knocked before opening it. Katerrina saw the monitors replaying the explosions and how intent Master Travanix was in his analysis. She cleared her throat as she approached the desk, setting six sample vials on it.

"I gathered samples from what's left of the warehouse. It's not much, but it should be enough to determine what blew it up."

She spoke to him from behind as he studied the screens and reports. He shook his head, another replay flashed on the screen. On another screen was shown readings and headings. He waved her in over his shoulder. "Show me what you have found, my young apprentice." He turned to face her as she began to lay the items out on his desk. A she finished he picked up the items one at a time to examine and then place them on the desk. He picked up one item, and turned back to his displays.

"If my readings are correct, these are of a type of energy that was only explored by the Empire a decade or so ago. It was used as a power source for the Death Star's super-laser." He stood up, getting a little closer to one of the displays. "It seems strange that only minor damage was caused instead of hitting one of our other facilities."

He turned back to Katerrina. "I belive that someone may be sending us a warning, in their own special way."

Katerrina stood in front of Master Travanix's desk. She turned so she could see the monitors that showed the destruction of the warehouse. Her stormcloud eyes missed nothing as she watched the screens while he studied the little she found.

She frowned when she heard him speak. "I thought the Empire kept a tight grip on its technologies. The Order couldn't get its hands on much after it fell." Katerrina leaned in to study the same monitor. "The blast should've taken out half the block."

The displays were tinged red as Katerrina stared at them. "I agree Master Travanix. This was a warning." A smirk formed as she looked up at him through a red haze.

"We should show we've gotten the message. In our own special way."
