Elena Isuelt Ravenlock

An there she was, pacing back and forth before the place called the 'Red Dragon Inn'.

Mumbles came from the young lady, as she went back and forth and then forth and back and then back and forth and then forth and well you get the idea, right?

?They said this was the place, and Momma said it looked like this. I don't know.? said the young lady.

So it was back and forth yet again, and now she seemed to be drawing attention, as she continued the pacing in front of the Inn.

Of course her Elven cohort was in tow. They'd never allow their Queen to be alone, ever. They took up positions across the square before the Red Dragon Inn, as she approached the establishment. Adorned in her golden armor as sparse as it was about her form, Lucy's long blonde hair was tied back into a tight ponytail, the bangs of her fringe tickling the eyelids of her deep blood red eyes.

Up the porch steps she trod, her mind elsewhere. She was thinking of her child. Wondering if he was having fun with his Father. Their only day out. A sad smile spread across the Queen of Zarcurgis, knowing the child played with nothing more than a shell of a man. A dead man she returned from death, as a Black Monk. Even if he did resemble love towards his child, that man, his voice, his personality was lost forever. But at least, her son had a Dad to look up to. To turn to. She paused on the porch at the pacing of a young girl. Her eyebrows tilting upwards. Huh. "Are you okay?"

The young girl finally stopped and as she did, those mage robes of hers finally settled as well.

From the confines of her hood, she looked to the map and small journal she had in hand. They said he'd come back. Momma didn't know, I think. But the Head Master did. An they did give me a leave of absence to find him, so why not go in? I mean what can they tell me, right? Sorry miss, Brian Ravenlock isn't here. Your dah isn't here, as if... like he really was to begin with.

And then she realized she had been addressed, ?Eeep!?

Elena had been rightly startled! She jumped a bit, causing her hood to slide from her head. Long dirty blonde hair erupted much like a volcano of sorts and soon settled, as eyes of green... widened eyes mind you, snapped to the woman who had spoken to her. ?Ah! I'm sorry!? Elena bowed more than once, causing those mage robes to flow back and forth with each bow.

Years of being a figure of authority had hardened Lucy's features. She rarely ever expressed happiness, these days. Her Mother was a monster and her Father? She lost all respect for him. Disowned him. Almost renounced the name of Ravenlock. But if it was for the memories of Alex and Jewell, that she still remained. Affiliated, but not an active part of the family. She stared at the girl, and then finally smiled.

The mask of a caring Queen caring for one of her subjects.

If there was anything good that Lucy had inherited from her Father, it was that same smile, that same look. "Don't be." She laughed a little, the excessive bowing amusing, "You look troubled. You know there is a warm fire and chairs inside, right?" She approached the door and opened it ajar, "Want some water? Or some orange juice?"

?Wha? Who? Oh! Yes please! I'm.. new here. I'm looking for someone, and I've never been here. Thank you so much, miss!? Another bow, and why not let's give another. Elena moved towards the door and Lucy, as she smiled. ?Momma said this was a nice place even if it could drive a person crazy.?

Lucy grinned at her. "I can see. Looking for someone, huh?" She pushed into the Inn, and held open the door for her. "Take a seat at the bar. I'll get you some orange juice if that is alright?" She was good with kids. After all, she had an entire race of refugees, who were mostly the orphans of the parents Renna had sacrificed for her... Attempt, at ending Rhy'Din. In a way, she felt guilt. She stopped Renna, but in exchange, she murdered families. The lesser of two evils.

She sighed a touch, "Who is it you are looking for? I've been here for a long time. I know quite a lot of people, and know enough of them to ask around. If that is okay with you?"

Elena scampered on inside, and did was she had been bade. Her green eyes widened to no end, as the young mage adept took in the large room. The power that welled inside was staggering to her for a moment, as she soon settled up to the bar. ?Woooooow, this place is.... Wow. And thank you for the offer, orange juice would be great!?

?Yeah, I'm so lost here! This place is huge, the city I mean. We left here when I was little, and I don't remember so much. But.. Oh! I'm sorry, I was looking for someone and you asked, yeah. I'm looking for my dad, I saw a picture of him in a paper last week. His name is Brian... Brian Ravenlock.?

Lucy chuckled. The child's expression of the RDI somewhat... Well. Not many reacted that way when they knew what horrors have happened here over the years. She went behind the bar, and went about finding a bottle of orange juice. Soon, she found it in the cooler, and turned twisting the cap off and placing it before the small customer seated at the bar. "That is fine." She smiled wider still, as she dropped coins into the till, being careful not to be bitten by that deadly spider within. That damn thing was ancient, wasn't it? Like the Stew. "Heh. I see. It is a bit big, this city. Your Dad? Huh, well I hope I can--" She silenced her words. Her smile fell. Her expression hardened. "I'm sorry, did you say Brian, Ravenlock? Brian Alexander McDineen-Ravenlock?"

Elena noddled with a sheepish smile. Well that was until she saw the woman's expression. Meekly, she shrunk back a bit with her eyes lowering just a tad. ?That's him, they said he comes here a lot, Momma said that too.?

A hand found its way to cover her mouth. Who was this girl? Lucy eyed her, wondering what the hell to say. Father? Brian? "Who is your Mother?" Said more sternly than needed. But the wide blood red eyes, was enough to indicate that Lucy was stunned.

?My Momma, she used to live here. Ch-Ch-Charlotte is her name.? Elena shrank back a bit, and so much so that she landed flat on her mage robed rear end. ?Eeep! I'm s-s-sorry, but I need to g-g-go!?

Elena's eyes of green widened as well, and a hint of wetness could be seen. Clearly the girl was nervous, and most definitely frightened to no end!

"No..." Lucy leaned forward, her other hand pressing against the bar to lean against it. To support her weight, to support her during her moment of being completely shocked to the core. "Charlotte? Mother? Wait!" She quickly rushed around the bar to the fallen Elena, dropping to a knee next to her, her hands going out, but pausing, in her attempt to scoop her up and embrace her. "Wait... Please. Your name? W-what's your name?"

?E-Elena. Elena Isuelt, is my name.?
