It began as a great day. She had spent a good bit of time dressing up for the BBQ. Definitely out of her normal style were a pair of deep blue jeans and a white t-shirt that was a big snugger then she was use to. About her delicate neck a red and white checkered neckerchief tied in festive style. Even cute lil cowboy boots!

The BBQ was shortly lived for her due to her late appearance but she had been searching for Aolis who seemed to of vanished from the shop. She had wanted him to go with her after all. But she couldn't find the handsome elven. Figuring him out doing his own thing she went on her own to enjoy the evening with her 'family'. A touch sad not to see Sianna and Johnny's twin sister, she still had Johnny, Rini, and Jolyon to keep her company! The food was like none she ever had and enjoyed it so much that she didn't realize that even a touch of sauce she had accidentally streaked through her hair.

And as Johnny and Rini left they escorted her to the market where they parted for the night. And then she met..Seth. And that is where the world started tumbling down.

Feeling comfortable enough to tell him part of her story she explained to him part of her reason for existence. She left out certain parts of course but he didn't need to know about that. These were things that noone but secluded people would know. And yet he seemed non-surprised. In fact he had explained to her that he had been told of such things as a child. And that he was similar in situation himself. This came as a complete shock to her. Not only shock but horror. That someone of the sanctum would speak so freely to outsiders about it. Not only that but years she had gone through to prepare for her ascension as a guardian of the spheres of knowledge. The spheres which were born from that which is the birth of all things magical. Aether. The universal birthplace and source of magic. It has several other names - Mana, Ether, etc. And the very thing she was born of like all the guardians before her.

Years of seclusion..of both mental and physical anguish. Of being a focus for war and people's deaths. Her whole life..those before her...the ones that had spoken to her when she started the ceremony. Those that told her that her reason of being was sacred. And a heavy burden that she took gracefully, even if it did drive her senses to the edge at times.

Seth just popped 9 'gems' to show her and basically told her that the universe was vast and she should not be so surprised that there were others like herself. She couldn't believe what she was hearing! How could these ..gems..be like the spheres?! The spheres were a collective of the five spectrum of aether. There was not nine! And he was so nonchalant about it. As if it was nothing to him.

It was something to her! All of her life was a lie. All of it. And what made it worst was her worry that even Aolis might of been a lie. Too good to be true. Her world tumbled down in a crush and her soul went with it.

And then Seth had the nerve to call her depression 'emo' the next day as if he really didn't care about her state. Did he have any idea how much damage he did to her? Since her birth everything had been a lie. When he said 'sorry' it was almost like a mock to the damage he had done.

She sought comfort and found it momentarily with Gav and Destre but she really wanted was Aolis. And she just..couldn't find him. Her world was just darkening more and more.

And chaos was enjoying every moment of it. The sphere that could only be considered as darkness quivered in the mess that Sera was buried under. Thieved even.

The shop was silent. Cold and lacking the life it usually held. And there she was, tucked in her rocking chair, cheek resting against the arm of the chair as she just...stared at the fire.

Lies..It was all..lies..

"She fading from existence. We have to intervene."

"You know we cannot assist with her personal life, Order."

"I am well aware of that Chaos but she is not eating in days or even smiled. She hasn't even attempting to balance her binds to us. At this rate..she will die."

"She is like a rose without sunlight. She is withering away and we must keep the guardian well. The natural flow depends on it."

"Hmm. Spirit do you think.."

"Offf courssse."

"Shhh! She's waking."

Eyes slowly drift open, Planar's fading voice capturing her consciousness and weary eyes watched the fading of the five figures of fate. Leaning forward she eyed the gothic style gowns she had done for Abby. Several beautifully fashion to Abby's taste and design. Each had been separately been folded and stacked to be ready for wrapping.

A brief sigh escaped her. She knew they were speaking about her. Just by the way they went silent so quickly. Standing she moved to pluck some nice wrapping from under the counter and wrap up the dresses. Once they were nicely done up she moved to the window and stared out, almost as if waiting.

Staring in the abyss she knew he wasn't coming. Should she go after him? Should she search for him? What if he was hurt? No. By the way he left it was because of her. Her heart clenched in pain. He was such a joy in her life and all she did was..scare him away.

Moving to the door she opened the door and spied one of the little boys who enjoyed delivering her goods. A crook of a slender finger to summon him she turned inward. Soon he was right behind her. Giving him the pile of wrapped dresses she gives him directions to abbey, a coin offered to his palm before she sent him off.

And back to the window she would stare...
