It was bright and early in the morning and like always she was wake and rather active. The shop had already been cleaned, breakfast demolished before she started on a new idea that had been poking at the back of her head.

Sure she was good at clothing. Sewing was very enjoyable. And she could craft with gold and jewels. Simple enough. But there was something more she wanted to do. And it only struck her after she had seen a mother frantically attempting to comfort her child who's teddy bear had got ripped nearly in half by a large dog. She didn't know what gave her the courage to step forward and speak with the woman. To take that bear and sew it up just as new. But the bright face of the child was all she needed to bring joy to her heart.

Sitting down in a chair near the window to enjoy the morning light she started sewing on squishy 'new friend' for a child. She didn't know which child but a child. A snow white bear with pink paws and inner ears. And a black lil nose.

As her fingers were busy with their task she kept hearing things outside the window. At first she paid it no mind then realized..it was whispering! Looking over she spied a little girl and her brother just as they dipped out of sight below the window. Raising a brow she finds herself giggling at the two. Looking away she goes back to work though sees the two rise from the corner of her eyes. She turned back and they both dipped back out of sigh.

When they came back up they both looked at each other. Sera was not in her chair any more!

"And what are you two doing peeping?"

Both squeaked and turned to face her, unstuffed bear hanging over her hand and needle in the other.

"Sowwy Miss! We was um..just watching. Weally!" The little girl nodded quickly to agree with her little brother.

"Oh. Well. Do either of you know where this little guy might be able to find a good home with someone to love him every night?" She gestured to the bear and both the small one's eyes went wide. "Oh oh! Me me! No me! No me!" was chorused out by the two. Loud enough that their mother heard and came running to apologize. With a kind smile Sera shook her head and explained to the woman that she would watch the two while she shopped. Of course this befuddled the woman and for a moment she was reluctant. But after the nagging of both the poor woman gave in. Sera assured the woman they would be inside until her return.

The trio entered the building and Sera sat down. She allowed the kids to help her stuff the bear before it's back was sewn shut. You couldn't see the stitching it was so finely done and the thread matched perfect with the fur of the finished bear. This particular one was given to the girl which of course caused the boy to pout. Sera had to explain that unless he wanted a white and pink bear, she would make him one of his own. Even let him pick out the color for the paws. He wanted a bright green of course!

By the time the mother came back both were hugging snow white bears of their own, giggling and playing as Sera watched. The mother was even more baffled as Sera shooed them off, declining any payment.

Sera watched with a smile as the mother and her children started their way home, all three with a genuine smile on their face.
