Knock Knock Knock. Sera's head rose from her work at the strong, steady strikes at the shop door. Early noon she wasn't expecting any customers and not many knocked. After standing and placing the half finished shirt aside she brushes her hands on her skirt and began her way to the door.

Upon opening it she spied a young man who immediately presented a beautiful cream colored envelope to her. Confused she accepted it and tipped the messenger boy a silver piece. Fingers tracing over the slate blue seal she waited till he was gone before closing the door. Leaning her back against the solid frame she broke the crest and opened the envelope. A smile, a real one which had not graced her lips in days, touched her lips as she read the wedding invitation. Then the small note that came with it, specifically addressed to her was noticed. A nickname that only one person called her by left her to know immediately who it was from.

It was from Johnny explaining of a reception after the wedding. She was going to make both. Come hell or high water. She was going to be there to see that Johnny and Sianna had a blessed union. She felt honored that she was invited and her lips quivered as tears started to stain her cheeks. What had she been doing? There were people in this world who cared about her. People who were close friends and almost family. People who she now realized...she was upsetting by being in her state. Not only Johnny and Sianna..but Rini..And Gav and Destre. These were people who treated her kindly and she had missed that during her depressed state.

Not that she didn't have the right to be depressed but she surely didn't want to upset those she cared for. With renewed resolve she perked up and smiled. She would return to her normal self. For those that she cared for. Even Aolis, even if he didn't want to see her anymore. She would smile just knowing he was alright. And she would apologies to Gav and Destre and thank them for their kindness in caring for her in her time of need. And she would give Rini a great big hug! And she would be there for Johnny and Sianna, with blessed graces of her goddess.

She would be there for those she cared about. THAT was her life now!

Sure. She was still the keeper. And she couldn't stop that. Not unless she desired to give up her last breath. No. She would keep the spheres of knowledge protected and safe, out of the wrong hands. But that was now her second goal in life. None knew of them. None had to know of them. None really cared to know. Her life would return to the bliss that was the humble seamstress. And she was glad to return to it with a bright smile.

The invitation would be placed on the table near her bed, to remind her every day. Not that she would forget. It did sadden her a touch she didn't have a 'guest' to bring with her. That was okay though! She'd go alone! She's done everything else alone. And she did it with smiles! And this special bonding of two people definitely was a reason to smile!
