Outside The Ethereal Loom

Stepping down the street you come across a rather large, two story building thatched cottage with a wonderland of blooming flowers in its front. A single post raised with a hanging sign with lovely flourished letterings in sunset shade colors reading "The Ethereal Loom".

On either side of the path that leads from the streets to the front door are array of flowers, rare and common alike rising from the plush green grass. Baby blue morning glories are seen creeping up the wall and above the door leading in, some holding more of a purple shade.

There also seems to be a path leading from the main path to around the side of the building. In the back, surrounded by hedges with rose bushes hidden within causing the roses to rise out of the large greenery. An archway leads into the backyard which has been created into a place to enjoy nature and others company. A large semi-circle table with several chairs placed to be protected under the canopy of mighty oaks.

Inside The Ethereal Loom - Ground Floor

Upon stepping in a great sense of warmth and coziness is felt, the soft ring of hanging crystal chimes filling one's ears. The commons is rather large, extending nearly to the back of the building. Walls are painted white with green leaves trimming. The floor is a plush green carpet, nearly matching the trimming. Built into the middle of the left wall is a hearth that is always welcoming people to warm themselves while they browse. The low lit area seemed almost romantic under the hearth's dancing flames.

Several shelves and racks have various pre-made clothing hang from the walls, always awaiting browsers. Near the windows that are glowing kindly with the light of candles are mannequin showing off latest gowns and gentleman clothing.

Towards the back of the building there is a graceful stairway to the left which leading to the second floor. Several spaces from the side of the stairs is a round about counter which connects to the right wall. On the counter there are always several swaths of cloths, sewing kits tucked away in baskets, and a handful of thimbles. Behind the counter is a door leading to a room full of things for her craft, ranging from bolts of cloth for custom work to stuffing for the stuff animals she makes. Before the door and near the right wall are sturdy steps leading to the basement.

Inside The Ethereal Loom - Second Floor

This part, like the basement, is usually off limits to shoppers. Upon reaching the top step there is a room to the left. From the steps a hallway leads to another, smaller room, and then to the small kitchen.

The first room is her bedroom. Furnished with bare essentials, the bed the most expensive item she seems to have. The four post king sized bed is crafted from cherry wood and finished with a delightful gloss finish. Beautiful white silk clings and connects each post in an elegant design, tied back so that if wanted they could be released to give extra privacy. The feather down mattress is made of pure softness and draped with satin sheets of leafy green. During the colder nights a cotton filled comforter on top. She seems to have a thing for pillows for there was usually several feather down pillows placed strategically. Her room is lightly decorated otherwise with nothing really standing out. An elegant armoire that kept what few of her personal clothes she owned. You would think with someone who owned a clothing shop she'd make a lot more for herself. Aside from that there was a well sized table nudged right under the window. The desk was well kept, papers and books stacked proper. A door near the bed leads to the bathroom that has a vanity sink and table. The tub is a clawfoot draped tub which is tucked under the window and a few feet from the tub is a porcelain toilet.

The second/guest room has basically the same thing except for the bed. The bed is a twin and crafted of cherry wood as well. The mattress is a cushioned but normal stuffed mattress. Like her bedroom, the guest room also has it's own bathroom though just a bit smaller. Upon entering the bathroom there is a toilet to the left with a console table sink five feet from it. On the opposite side is the cast iron roll tub with a hand held shower head.

Between the two rooms is a small hall way with a simple table and vase of flowers under a window. Past the second room is the kitchen. A table and chairs large enough to fit maybe 4 people is draped with a liquid blue table cloth. Places always set with plate sets. The kitchen itself is tiny, six cabinets, a old fashion stove, and a small ice box.
