Part One

Born to gypsy thieves Danny O'Corr and Sharon MacKellen, Caul O'Corr struck out on his own at an early age, but not so early that he didn't learn the skills his Mum and Da had honed over many years of cons, robberies, and all manner of thievery.

Charismatic from the start, Caul had little trouble making his way in the world. A born con-man, the only O'Corr child quickly scraped together enough money to rent himself a year's worth of lodging at a local tavern. Stealing a cart and horse from a nearby farm, the young lad quickly set off to sell "tonics," "miracle cures" and whatever else he could steal, craft or trade for in towns up and down the main merchant's roads that led in and out of Rhy'Din.

It was only a matter of time before the allure of Rhy'Din City Proper drew Caul in. That, and the fact that local authorities were avidly scouring small towns for a "shifty-looking kid who sold muddy water as cure-alls and made himself well-known with womenfolk both young and old."

Once in the thriving metropolis of Rhy'Din, it was a whole new set of skills that Caul had to learn. Pickpocketing became an art for the young O'Corr, as well as break-ins and the re-selling of weapons back to the warriors he had stole them from.

Quick at ducking a hurled bottle, and quicker at weakening the knees of pretty girls everywhere, Caul made a reputation for himself faster than one should in a place like Rhy'Din.

Soon enough there came a time when Caul pushed the wrong person, and they pushed back twice as hard. The Dragon's Talons, a gang that had their fingers in all the pies of half of the Southside of Rhy'Din took especially close notice of Caul O'Corr. After a severe beating, The Dragon's Talons left Caul for dead. They should've finished the job.

Part Two

The next five years found Caul O'Corr far away from Rhy'Din. When he was healthy enough to travel, that's exactly what the gypsy did, and picked up quite a few handy skills along the way.

Vowing revenge on The Dragon's Talon, Caul studied with masters of various disciplines of killing. The six-shooter, throwing knife, and garotte all became Caul's only friends on many dark nights. After five long years of training and studying, the young O'Corr returned to Rhy'Din under the cover of night, plotting his first move against The Dragon's Talon.

Through the tavern he had lived in on his first journey to Rhy'Din, Caul made a few contacts in the underworld of the big city, and slowly amassed a following who despised The Dragon's Talon as much as he did.

It was only a matter of months before the cunning and resolve of one gypsy brought down the entire empire of The Dragon's Talon. With the fall came riches and power beyond Caul's wildest dreams, and thankfully his parents had raised him right. While they were thieves, they had morales and discipline, and Caul used these teachings wisely.

In a few years' time, Caul returned home, masking his wealth and power, and lived there with his family for six or seven years. Along the way he fell in love with a woman, Molly Moriarty.

They were married shortly after meeting, what the locals and all who saw them called love at first sight. They would have eleven children.

Caul and his new wife moved back to Rhy'Din, where a hero's welcome awaited him. After his parents' death, Caul became the senior O'Corr, and the only living O'Corr until his first born. He set roots in the outskirts of Rhy'Din, building a mammoth one-story estate for ranching, and a local tavern, The Twisted Spur, that quickly became known as the place to go for gossip, news, favors, and above all, a good pint.

Caul and Molly lived in the comforts of Caul's revenge, and gave birth to eleven strong children. Jack and Mary were the oldest, a set of twins who shared brains and stubbornness. Then came Flynn and Morgan, another set of twins who's brash personalities were evident even from the age of three. Rory was next, an extremely healthy baby who quickly outgrew both Jack and Flynn.

Chuckie was next, the fastest O'Corr yet, and still is. Quick with his words, his drinking, his actions and reactions. Mark came close after Chuckie, steadfast with his work and determined in all his pursuits. Rebecca, the third and final girl, was next. Softspoken, yet stunningly precise with her words when she did raise her voice to be heard.

Finally, there came a set of triplets. Three identical boys, Brian, Will and Caelin. They seemed to form a special bond with each other, always busily concocting schemes about something. The three of them also immediately took a liking to the water once they were old enough to swim.

And so, Caul O'Corr now had a wife and a family. In the seven years since Jack and Mary had first been born, Caul and Molly had done well for themselves, only accumulating more wealth, more friends, and more respect throughout the community of Rhy'Din. The Twisted Spur was revered by any and all who passed through its doorway even once, and was spoke of in the fondest of terms throughout the countryside. Many from Caul's homeland made the journey to visit at least once in their lives, and those who had never been still seemed to speak of it in a hushed sort of awe.

This is the life that Caul O'Corr left to his eleven children, and his wife. This is the legacy that he had created.
