Emma and her Mother had bonded as they once did so long ago. They talked, she was punished for the silly things she would do - without the actual hitting, and they would laugh and Emma would cry, at how much she missed her Mother.

But that all came to a darkened enclosure, for her Mother was lying to her. For years she had not known how her parents died, but today, she found out:

"Mom?" Emma spoke out gently, as she laid next to her on bed in her Mom's room, of which Lucretia stared up at the ceiling, not even acknowleding her Daughter's voice.
"Hm?" She said, after a long awkward silence. For Lucy knew what her daughter was to ask. They conversation went on through the night, and everytime, she would ask the same question.
"How did my parents die?" The rogue eyes of Emma teared, and she leant up, her ears twitching eagerly and her eyes looking down upon her Mom's face in wait.
"...I don't know. I found them. I didn't see what happened." Although this time around, Lucretia did sound quite as truthful as she had hoped, and looked away from her daughter.
Emma blinked, never seeing THAT reaction before, and then crawled onto her Mom, hugging close. "Your lying to me. Please tell me, Mom, I want to know, I am big enough to understand."
But oh how Emma did not know. Emma's thoughts raged in her mind, she wished to know, but this time, she would get her answer, and she would not like it.
"...I..." Her Mom spoke, before again she paused. "...I did it."
"Did what?" Emma sighed now, feeling her Mom's arms coming to hug her, loosely. Then looking up, she saw her Mom's face full of tears, and then frowned a little, "Don't cry Mom..."
"I killed them."
Emma's heart just stopped and she came to push off her Mom and stand right at the bed's side, eyes wide in shock. "Y-You what?!" Quickly she grabbed her Mom's hand, "It's not true! Your just trying to push me away again!"
Lucretia looked away and did not answer.
"It's true?" Emma then left go of her hand, stepping back.
"Emma wait." Lucy stood grabbing gently her Daughter's arm, "Listen, I am sorry, but I love you, I'd never do anything to harm-"
SLAP!
Lucy's cheek ran hot, and not only that, her fists curled at the strike she had recieved from the angry form of her daughter. HEr grip tightened on her arm and she dragged the girl close, hissing, "Don't you dare hit me!"
Emma shrank back, trying to pull away, "NO! You killed my parents! You monster!"
Lucy did what she always did whe nshe got this angry. She hit her daughter. Again.
"M-Mom! Stop!" Emma's cry came a punch went to her lip, Emma's eyes fearful eyes looked up and stared into the eyes of Darkness, of hate, of... Evil. Emma was seeing her Mom in a new light, but... She wanted to forgive her, "Mom! I forgive you!"
"I hate you!" Lucy's growl was now right into Emma's face, "Why did you come after me, when you knew this would happen?!"
CRACK! Came a knee the Emma's rib, which sent her down holding her stomach, splattering blood onto Lucy's bare leg. Slap to her cheek sent her sprawling to the ground, crying. Over and over, she cried Mom.
"SHUT UP!" Lucy in her rage kicked her daughter while she was down. "SHUT UP! SHUT THE FUCK UP!"

Kick. Kick. Kick. Pause.

Panting hard, Lucy's trembling hands stared down to Emma's unmoving form. Blood was all over her daughter. Her left eye black, her cheeks red-and-blue. She wasn't even moving.
"Emma?" Her voice, was now concerned, "Emma?" She then came to kneel beside her daughter, holding her now, "Emma wake up," She checked her pulse, and felt something, she was alive... But she knocked her own daughter out cold.
Emma fell into darkness.

Emma had awoke in her room, neatly tucked in, her single eye openning and squinting from the daylight. Wincing, she leant up in bed, looking to her naked form.
Below her breast, her skin was a shade of pale green, the bruise, was going, but, it still did cover half of one side of her cheek, and, then, moving her hands up to her face, she felt stiff bruiseness of her lower lip, the soreness of her now normal eye - back rings still around it, and the tenderness of her cheeks.
Emma remembered, and, cried as she leant up in bed, clawing the sheet closer to her form, curling her knees close to her, rocking back and fore for comfort.
Emma knew why her Mother had flipped, but the revelation of her Mom killing her parents came to stir up, a hatred within her. But, still, despite this, love was still present... Still, blindly she loves her Mom, and wishes to help her, but realising the evil inside of Lucy, Emma could not deny that perhaps her Mom really is a lost cause, a cause perhaps not worth fighting for.

The seed of doubt was now in her. And as she turned to look at the lone chair by her bed side, her Mom's cloak was still present. Despite, her outburst, her Mom looked after her... Maybe, Lucy was still human afterall.

This made Emma more confident, into ending this war, and ending, her Mom's anger, so they could finally live peaceful lives.
