The Elder Elemental Eye, though he, as he has been described by very few, and very ancient texts, is a most ancient and primordial being. The Elder Eye, is said to have been the creator of the Elder Gods and First Evil Elemental Princes. The Elder Eye is nothing less then Entropy, Destruction, cold, madness and a corrupter of the Four Elements of Air, Earth, Fire and Water.
The Elder Eye, has been worshipped by many other names and in many other guises. A great Golden, floating eye with long tendrils or tentacles writhing about. Or as some great column of purple, green and black slime with tentacles, or as a great being of shadows and mist. He barely speaks, but when he does, his voice is cold, and full of malice. The Elder Eye's very presence brings ruin and madness.
All of his worshippers are mad in one way or another, evil and very much chaotic. Each Cleric of the Elder Eye favors one Element over the rest, symbolized in the gold unholy symbols they wear, that symbolize which element they favor and use. There are some clerics, which favor all for and their medalions are either in the form of an eye with tentacles, or a vortex. The Clerics of the Elder Eye dress in either solid black, with purple trim robes, or the color of their favored element, Red for Fire, Brown for Earth, White-Grey for Air, and Blue-Green for water.
The highest and most powerful of The Elder Eye's clerics have these symbols engraved upon inverted triangular medallions. Khest, King of Aetheria is a High Cleric of all four elements, and he wears the black and purple robes when in the temple.
The tennents of the dark faith of the Elder Eye are simple, use force to bring about complete ruin and an end to all things, to destroy all worlds, light and life, to bring back the Great Endless Void. And to do so at all costs, no mercy, and no pity. Burning a village or blotting out a sun, is no issue with the folowers of the Elder Eye. Tearing down entire forests and sending a large city under the waves of an ocean is not a problem, they do it with great, twisted glee.
Many of the Elder Eye's followers are indeed foul and twisted, Aboleths, Evil intelligent Elementals, Mind Flayers, Demons, etc. are but just a few. And there are even Dark Elves and evil humans that blindly worship the Elder Eye. All his places of worship are dark, cold and truely evil places, unholy temples where all sorts of foul practices and rituals are held. Where souls are sent to feed the Elder Eye, and the floors are awash with blood. The walls and ceilings are decorated with skulls, black and purple or black and red banners, obscene and/or macbre scenes and motiffs, black altars, and other typical accrutiments found in evil places of worship.
The Elder Elemnetal Eye cares only for one thing, he does not make deals, his wrath can only be appaised with the death of worlds, he cares not for any other deity, infact he tells his followers that all other gods are just pretenders and weaklings, not worthy of fear or respect. As such the Elder Eye's followers are just as likely to burn down a temple to Set, as they are to destroy a temple to Odin. And no follower of the Elder Eye will betray his dark master or a follow worshipper, unless that worshipper betrays the faith, then the traitor is fair game.
In all, The Elder Elemental Eye is a truely evil and dark being, who seeks only total destruction of everything.
