Carrying a maroon box with the O'Dell's Deli logo on it, she steps into the shop. It wasn't a far walk from the Deli and she admonishes herself once more for not being by sooner to visit. "Hello?" she calls out and rests the box onto an anvil.

She had come to see if the cast iron pans she'd ordered were ready and to deliver lunch to the workers of the forge. Dressed in her Deli uniform, the apron full length and covered with flour from the morning's baking.

Inside the box were two foot and a half long subs with pepperoni, ham, salami, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, banana peppers with a home made Italian style dressing. All grilled with melted cheese on freshly baked bread.

Immense arms would move in a manner that they did not seem capable of at other times. The huge hammer held aloft in his right hand made its way up and down in a graceful rhythm that bore much of his skill in his occupation. The ring of his hammer paused long enough and he heard a feminine voice call out to him.

"Hello?"

Jon Henri hung the hammer back at the loop upon his belt, and glanced upwards, a broad smile crossing his face. "Miss O'Dell! How are you?" He went over to a box on a counter by the tall anvil he worked on. It was heavy, but tied with a simple string. "Here are the cast iron pans you requested." He opened the top of the box up for her so she could inspect the pieces. They were all crafted well and well proportioned, all made of pure fine iron. He smelled at the air, as he glanced over to the anvil she had just placed the box on. His stomach growled hungrily and he went over to the box with the subs inside, opening it and looking up with a smile. "For me? Thank you Miss O'Dell. They look simply delicious."

"It's Mrs. Santiago." a smile on her face. She had to stand on tip toe to see into the box. "Mr. Henri, these are wonderful." she smiles and lifts the saucier from the box. Gentle, but strong hands from years of kneading dough, gliding over the already slick surface of the pan to it's outter edge. Not a sharp spot or nick that would catch moisture and end up ruining the pan. No, they were perfect.

So busy admiring Mr. Henri's craftsmanship, she hardly noticed when he walked over to the box she'd brought. So when he speaks it takes her a moment to figure out just what he's said. She purses her lips slightly then smiles. "Of course, I had promised to bring lunch from the Deli when I came to pick up the pans. I do hope that you and your brother enjoy the sandwiches."

She laughs softly, she absolutely loved to watch people eat the things that she's made. reaching for her little money pouch tied to her waist, she looks to Jon once more. "How much do I owe you, Mr. Henri?"

Triumphantly he held up a foot long section of the sub within his two monstrous hands and licked his lips. "After bringing me such a delicious lunch I would feel guilty charging you at all." He took a large bite of the sub and put the rest of it down into the box. He made sure to chew a few times before he spoke again, rubbing the back of his hand against his mouth. "Mmmm. Simply delicious. I shall have to make sure I tell the rest of my customers where to go for the best sandwiches in town." He smiled down to Rosie. "Mrs. Santiago, I do not know. I suppose I shall just charge for the material. Ten silver crowns shall do. Especially now that you've brought me a most wonderful lunch." He put a hand over the huge, interwoven muscles of his stomach and rubbed it in delight.

As he speaks, Rosie purses her lips slightly, then her smile returns. "The sandwiches are to say welcome to the neighborhood, so to speak. I'm just sorry that it took me so long to get around to bring them over."

She watches as he eats with a bit of pride shining in her emerald green eyes. "Thank you, Mr. Henri. Word of mouth is the very best of advertisements, if I do say so myself. And you can be sure that if I hear of anybody needing any smithing done, I'll be sending them your way." with a sincere smile.

"Ten silvers is a more than generous deal, you've got it." another smile as she takes the silvers from her pouch and hands them over.

Jon Henri released his one handed grip on the sub and placed it down into the box gingerly, once more wiping both of his hands off on the thick leather smock that he wore. When Rosie went to hand him the coins he reached out with his huge palm and closed his ham sized hands around the coins. His hand disappeared into his smock and the coins were gone. "Thank you very much Mrs. Santiago!" A bright friendly smile split his face and presented the perfect row of rather large ivory teeth. His posture was stooped as it always was, making sure that he did not tower too high over the woman before him. "Thank you again for lunch Mrs. Santiago. Those pots come with a lifetime guarantee. Should they ever rust or crack I shall fix them with no charge."

"It has been a pleasure doing business with you, Mr. Henri. And I'm sure the pans will be just fine. My grandmother taught me to treat cast iron before using it and how to care for it." she laughs softly. "The warranty won't have to be utilized." with a slight cant of her head.

"It's getting near to summer time. Do you think that you could have a complete camping set made? A dutch oven with a locking lid, tripod, cauldron, coffee kettle? A very large frying skillet? We plan on taking our son camping with a few friends. And I've been wanting a cast iron cooking set like my grandfather's for years." she looks up at him hopefully.

We plan on taking our son camping with a few friends. And I've been wanting a cast iron cooking set like my grandfather's for years."

Large chestnuts eyes climbed to the roof thoughtfully as Rosie spoke. After a few moments he nodded his head slowly. "Aye. That sounds like something I can make but it make take me a bit more time than the skillets I just crafted for you would make." The images entered his head as soon as she had spoken on them and he began to gesture with his large hands. "The dutch oven shall have to be molded especially. The kettle, cauldron, tripod and coffee kettle should be easy. As for the skillet well that shall not take long at all." Again that huge smile revealed a perfect set row of huge ivory teeth and he looked down to the short Rosie. "And of course once again all I shall charge for is the material it takes to compose such a set. I am not one who forgets kindness rather easily. Thank you for your kindness Mrs. Santiago. I shall send my brother over to your deli when we both have a hunger for delicious sandwiches." Thick fingers and huge palm encompassed the handle to his cross-peen hammer, lifting it from the loop upon his belt. "Do not hesitate to stop by to check on the progress of your order, or if you or your husband have needs of my skills for anything else."

Her eyes danced as he said that he'd be able to make the camping set for her. She had always wanted a cast iron camping set and she was finally getting it! Smiling pleasantly when he spoke of the price, she simply nodded in agreement.

"It has been a pleasure doing business with you, Mr. Henri. I do look forwards to you and your brother visiting my deli." she fishes out a business card and scrawls her home address on the back of it. "Can you have the camping set delivered to this address?" another smile and emeralds look up at him.

She extends her hand to shake once more, to close the deal. "And Mr. Henri, when you and your brother come to the deli? Anything on the menu, is on the house. I'll make sure the staff is aware of that."

"It was a pleasure doing business with you as well Mrs. Santiago. And please, just call me Jon Henri." Bough thick fingers extended and encompassed Rosie's entire hand easily. When they closed they managed to touch the other end of her palm without ever applying pressure. "Thank you so much Mrs. Santiago. I shall make sure to tell my brother of your offer. You would not expect us to be related when you see him. He is rather droll and serious, about this tall," He gestured with one of his hands to his mid-chest "And a skinny little thing with a red scar over his left eye. I am sure you have seen him about glowering at the patrons of the Inn never speaking. A most unpleasant seeming man. But he could use the meals." Sparkling ivory teeth presented themselves as his swollen caramel lips parted. "But I shall let him know none the same where to go for good free food."
