The Forge resides south of the fountain, off of the main thoroughfare and in the direction of the West End. Along the road are many other various merchants and stores of differing wares, but Jon Henri is the only blacksmith in the area. The Forge itself is a moderately slim but tall three story building, with an open front that leads to the store itself that is sealed by metal slats when Jon Henri closes up for the night. The building itself has a peaked roof and between it and its neighbor is a small alleyway usually filled with barrels and crates. There are two windows pointing in the direction of the street on both the second and third story. Around back there are wooden steps that lead up to a spacious raised wooden deck that surrounds an ornately carved door to the second story, where the main living area resides.

The entrance to the storefront is purposefully rather tall as well as the granite ceiling inside. The floor and walls are also made up of the same veined natural stone, but they are smooth to the touch. A small solitary window, set high into the wall pointing in the direction of the alleyway is usually open. The forge is a rather large iron oven with an opening atop the coals used to heat the metals Jon Henri works with. Resting on the floor beside the forge is a huge set of bellows, used to move air through the coals and suck the ash out. An anvil resides not too far from the forge , standing at an appropriate height for Jon Henri. Tongs, pincers, a chisel, a hardy, and rows upon rows of various fullers hang upon the wall and reside on various workbenches. Display pieces also are prominent on the wall straight ahead from the opening, a variety of gleaming and burnished armor, weapons, kitchen utensils, and mostly anything else that is typically crafted from metal.

The blacksmith greets all of his customers or visitors with a friendly smile and a kind word. On rare occasions he is joined by his brother, the brooding Ranger.
