Kruger

Kruger wheeled the heavily laden barrow along the city streets. He was a bit perturbed because he had to purchase the wheel barrow in the first place. What can you expect from a greedy tavern keeper though? The largish orc that was the burden of the barrow was hog tied. There was little danger of him breaking free as he was quite unconscious.

Punga Kaitangata, was three hundred pounds of trouble, and not just because poor Krug?s was having to wheel him back to base from the docks district either. There had been no fight, thank gods for small favors. Instead the eight foot monstrosity had binged until he was passed out. The tavern owner, one John Coulter had been threatened and cajoled into giving the spirits to the big orc. Now Kruger carried with him a sizeable bar tab. Every time he thought of it he purposely hit a bump in the road. The big fatherless son of a mountain troll was going to pay, even if it was in bumps and bruises.

Kruger put his thumb over the symbol by the doorway, it swung open for him but the barrow wouldn?t fit through the door. Kruger was forced to bend down and put the big creature into a fireman?s carry. Krug?s almost felt bad for knocking Punga?s head on the doorway?that counts right? He hadn?t expected the paperwork he would be expected to do once he brought the orc in?one more reason to hate Punga.

It took nearly an hour for Kruger, blacksmith and Guardian to complete his report. He dumped the unconscious form into a cell and locked the door. When he returned to the front doorway though he found that someone had taken his newly acquired wheel barrow.

?Are you kidding me?!? This followed by a growl that came from deep within his gullet.
