I'm wanting to run this sometime this week if at all possible.

So far I've got the following people wanting in:
Angelica, Tiatari, L'loris, Elkinid, and SillyFae (mostly as the teacher's pet, but it should be fun :lol: ) If I've left anyone out please don't hate me :oops: It's 2:30 AM and I'm getting a case of the sleepies :)

I don't have a set amount of time for this, it'll mostly depend on how involved things get and how much interaction we're able to generate, the longer the better if everyone's enjoying it. We can even spread it over two nights if things go really well and we want to explore it further.

This isn't going to be some boring lecture (I'd just post something like that :razz: ) - it will be highly interactive. Bring your imaginations! :)

One thing I'd like everyone to do if you can is think about what creature your character would have an affinity with (for example Celeth's affinities, as you've probably seen, are the ocelot and dire frostwolf) as these are more than just shapes - the affinity is an extension of personality and this will hopefully provide some fun interactions as well as an opportunity for character development.

The only days that are iffy for me are Tuesday (family outing) and Friday (D&D night) - now I could POSSIBLY do Friday anyway but it wouldn't be until about 10-11PM EST. That's about the time our game typically ends. I'll put it in the poll anyway just in case.

I'll also be saving the logs and will work on doing a thread for the event afterward sort of like Lani/Tia-mun did for Vesper's quest.

So go ahead and pick whatever days best fit your schedule... probably works best to vote for the one that you'd prefer best and post any others that you're willing/available for... also, feel free to post any other comments/ideas/suggestions!

You cannot do this any earlier than Sunday, the 28th. I will be on Spring Break until then and I would really like to get my new baby in on this. So please please please, no earlier than that?

Sorry guys, I don't know if this will happen.

My motivation is just gone. Not just with the Covenant or anyone in particular, but the RDI as a whole.

Aside from maybe two people, 99% of my time spent "playing" consists of typing into a void, as if the entire community has me on ignore.

I've tried everything I can think of to get involved and develop characters, and everything runs into a wall. All it brings is frustration, and, to be plain, it's just not fun anymore. Again, this is not directed at anyone in particular, it is quite a universal affliction - nothing seems to work.

My head is pretty sore from banging it into the wall, so I think it's time to stop.

I'm not going to disappear, but I will be scaling back my activity quite dramatically.

My apologies to anyone who was looking forward to this. I've just lost the will to continue.

I may try that, but I don't have much optimism in that regard. I either lack the social networking skills to establish some sort of player base or the ability to create something interesting enough for people to get involved.

I doubt that any specific measure of time will change this.

Further, the site seems to operate predominantly by established cliques that quite simply do not need or want outsiders. It's been a year now, and I've come to realize it's quite unlikely that I'll find one that I will 'fit in' with. I am not pointing fingers, nor am I bitter - it's just a part of the human condition.

Hell, I freely accept that it's mostly my own fault, as I tend to be quiet and unobtrusive both IC and OOC.

Either way, like I said, it just isn't fun anymore, and as I'm already dealing with depression, it's not exactly healthy for me.

All that said, I'm not just going to vanish. I'll still be around, and I'll still be reading things and posting in my primary SL threads.
