Somewhere in the Southern Glen
"THIS BlOWS ICE CHUNKS!"
A gout of flame shot from her hands as she slammed them forward and sent the explosion of fire into the pile of leaves deliberately gathered for such a purpose.
Using her hands to whip the flame up and backwards she slung it like a whip in the other direction, lashing fiery trajectories at the surrounding area.
The scent of burning twigs and foliage drew a hint of calm steadiness to the Azer kin's frustrations and she reveled in the smoke-filled heat that surrounded her. Billowing all around her, the crackling flames oozed a thick black smoke that concealed her from prying eyes.
So hot was the temperature of the heat that she compelled that the piles were quickly disintegrated and the fires licked eagerly toward the edges of her displays, seeking the forested line that lie not far from her casting zone.
For one wild moment she considered releasing her grip upon the flames and allowing their raging hunger to slash a blazing trail across the forested region of the Southern Glen that she practiced in.
A sigh accompanied the deadening grip of her magic as she deliberately sucked all the air from the region around them. Sullenly the fires dissipated and as they sunk downward, disappearing into pulsating and pouting embers she rolled her head back and stared beseechingly up at the sky.
She concentrated. Honed her talents, desperately sought that inner control of flames and sought to twist it, alter it in such an alien way that her breath came in little hiccups. Concentration pulled the lines of her face taut as she attempted to force 'muscles' into doing something they weren't designed to do.
"Aqua-infinium-dismorphidious!"
As the first drops of rain began to slide free from the sky she widened her eyes in exultation that quickly turned to fearful denial as their hue warned of her mistake.
The hiss of flames hitting the tree top canopy on the edges of her training ground warned her that her fear was justified. She had not summoned water, but only more of her elemental natural state.
Panicked, she twisted her horrified gaze from the sky to stare out over a forested area that she was beginning to scorch and crisp as the rain of fire picked up pace, "Oh no! No no no!"
