Master Mistmark emerged from the doorway of his private home with his wife at his side. The summons had been for all faculty and staff and with regard to Menolymus' constraints they had all gathered in the private domain of the Master Fire Elementalist.

The only teacher not in attendance was the rarely seen Mistress of White Magic, but a doorway was opened between her tower and this one so that she might engage in the meeting should she choose.

As the Mistress of Shades and Shards presided all mouths were silenced, greetings and glowers stilling as the Dark Deaconess claimed their attention.

It was less a meeting and more a hearing.

Upon its adjournment the decree had been given and the students were notified by Vaden:
