We, involved with the Institute of Arcane Principle, have been recently informed that the initial creator of the Plushie Phenomenon is none other than Amthyst Oak and would like to give credit where credit is due.

Thank you Amthyst Oak for your ingenuity enjoyed by so many.

I thought everyone knew that.... I would have mentioned it before if I had known otherwise. She's awesomesauce.

I knew it was just a misunderstanding because as I told her, you're super duper Wonderbar!

I think it would be best if we added a Disclaimer to profiles though, the more people realize that the Plushie idea originated with Amthyst Oak the better I think everybody involved will feel.

It isnt that the plushies are my idea, its that my art was used and editted without my permission. I have nothing against people making plushie of their characters or others. I dont own the idea afterall :) i dont want those who read this thread to misunderstand the reasoning for the disclaimer. This is solely about the art.

Forgive the typoes. Using my nook and its still clumsy for me :/

Well I would like to publicly apologize then for crossing lines. I din't even think about it at the time. I knew Amthy did plushies, I did not know she did ALL of them ever and had no way to know that in particular. Amthy, I am sorry I upset you, I had no intention of doing that, honestly.

I have also been asked that each played who received a plushie credit original art by the player of amthyst oak, edited by the player howlingmoon. Please do this as she has said she will be checking to make sure it's done.

I believe there are a few other plushie artists on the site :) and i do not claim their work as my own, just the ones of the Forsaken Bladex and a few random friends that can be seen in my profile :)

I appreciate the apology. Thank you.

I think at one point I did say all I did was edit what I had found, quite openly. I never meant or intended to hide anything. I just didn't think. Really I just wanted to do something fun for the IAP and didn't know who each one was done by.

Yeah, no big. Just add the credit statement to the profile and it's done.

And it's only right. ;)

And I am totally happy you're willing to be forgiving about it. So uh, you think maybe you could teach me how I can do my own? Maybe? I'd like to avoid future upsets and frankly I suck at art. I have bad hand tremors.

Drawing pixel by pixel at 50x50 is hard even with normal function ;) you should see all the versions i did of darks before i sent him the first work in progress. If youd like i can make you a nekkid template (no hair or clothes) which will make making them easier.

That would be super awesome. Really the only reason I used yours was for the outline and editing was super hard lol. I would like to try it on my own. Uhm would you want credit for the bases of those too? Just so I don't mess up again.

Amthyst Oak

Nah. I know some people want credits for bases, but for something this simple the real art will be what is made on them.

Spiffy. Thank you
